| Yeah, butterbeer's been on my list since "Prisoner of Azkaban" came out. Fox claims they have the recipe. I've made my own batch before, but I prefer just picking up a few bottles of Flying Cauldron Non-Alcoholic Butterscotch Beer since I'm so lazy.
I've also always wanted to try garlic butter mushrumps from "Stardust" and that drink from "Hitchhiker's Guide" that tastes like having "your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick." So what would you say is the most rewarding thing about cat ownership? |

| I just woke up from a fucking horrible dream where I was babysitting this newborn (though it was really like a little doll with almost a cartoonish face), and this person I know from a webseries that I watch a lot came over and hid the baby as a game. For some reason I didn't just ask him where the baby was right away and spent a long time looking for it, even going around begging people to help me look. A whole day goes by, I finally call the guy whose voicemail message is a long survey asking questions like, "What color is revenge?" and so on. You have to answer the questions or else he won't answer the phone, as though he's listening to you through one of those old answering machines.
We find the baby with unpainted, unfired ceramic stuck all over its body, in a plastic case that was in a paper bag on the floor of a hot garage, starving, but alive. I actually felt the deep sadness of the baby thinking no one loved it and just wanting it to die, and held it to try to relieve it of such sorrow. I FORCED myself to wake up. They're protesting at U.S. embassies in 17 Middle Eastern countries, because of this piece of shit, obscure movie that this guy made who's now gone into hiding. People are getting KILLED because of a stupid movie that no one watched. The Onion has parodied this situation with this rather graphic image poking fun at the fact that whenever the prophets or deities of other faiths are depicted, followers of those religions don't lose their shit and massacre innocent people. | Fuck Long Beach City College for cutting 19 programs just to save $2 million.
"Air-conditioning and refrigeration repair, sheet metal, computer proficiency for academic success, diagnostic medical imaging, diesel mechanics, human services, recording arts, real estate, interior design, medical assisting, photography, aviation maintenance, automotive technology, auto body repair, carpentry, welding, physical geography, film and radio and television" will be ending after this coming semester. Brandon kept getting dicked around by them, changing the requirements and making it so he has to take a bunch of extra classes including the same Pro Tools class twice and bullshit beginner classes like "How to Use the Library" and "How to Use a Computer." And here I was thinking about taking automotive classes there just for the usefulness. And their offering of diesel mechanics was a landmark program. They had students reworking it so old diesel cars could run on vegetable oil. |

| I just don't know what to think. I mean, the guy has freedom of speech, which includes his ability to make art and it wouldn't be in keeping with our ethics to just throw him to the lions, with whom we swear we will never negotiate.
But at the same time, the guy made this thing and he's hiding like a pussy. I'd respect him more if he stood by his beliefs and was out in the open. No. He's a cowardly troll, and people are dying in other parts of the world, thousands upon thousands of miles away. .... I just now told my dad about the guy being in Cerritos and my dad goes, "You really believe that shit? This was ALLLLLLL planned. | I just can't stand the companions Tennant had. I'm sure loads of people have their issues with 11 and Amy Pond, but I actually like them. Amy's got her own man and isn't all wildly attracted to the doctor in a romantic way.
I hated Donna and Rose, and what's more that final episode with both of them not wanting to say good-bye to the doctor was nauseating. Donna was all smug when she thought was getting him all to herself after they dumped Rose in the alternate universe and was just so damned annoying as Dr. Donna. Before Amy all of the female companions were just so jealous and shitty. I dig Amy/Rory. And now that 11's getting a new companion, I BET you she's going to be romantically interested in him and will be ridiculously jealous of his thing with River and be cocksure that she'll get him to herself. Again, I'm mostly into this for the River Song stuff. She makes it all worthwhile for me. Oh, uh, I'm watching The Big Bang Theory reruns. |
