| I have a creepy store about talking to a stranger. I was one of several women at my work that had an encounter with this pervert asking us all about nair and wanting to see our armpits or legs. My one friend was nicer than most and he ended up groping her... also got his name and number and reported it to the police.
On a general, day to day basis, though, I have lots of interesting conversations with people since I work retail. The best one I had was where I found out the guy I was talking to, as well as one of my photo department regulars, were California transplants just like me (Lynwood and San Diego, respectively). Made for a lovely day. ... For the record, I thought most green tea was either lowcaf or decaf? Though normally when I want decaf tea I go with berry flavors or chamomile (sleepytime tea!). Most times, I stick with the loose leaf Earl Grey though, since caffeine has replaced my blood. What is the weirdest burrito you've ever made? |

I knew that Oregon had issues with not punishing domestic abusers (Ben's mom watched her father beat her mother to death when she was a kid living in Portland back in the 50s)... but for it to be 2014 and hear that they have done something like that just disgusts me. Point out that if that jackass doesn't get this report filed, and the worst should happen (your dad goes too far and causes some serious, irreversible damage or death) that the lawsuit and media uproar will be so harsh that they will rue the day they joined the force. | If you are not employed, you can ask for a waiver. Otherwise, the penalty for not having insurance is a percentage of your income. A percentage of 0 is still 0.

Do your cats (or other pets) like to get all up in your face when you are trying to use your computer? One of my cats that shares a name with a certain board member, is currently trying her hardest to snuggle up to my hands while I am typing, despite ignoring me for the last like three hours. Total side note on the bruise thing... apparently, if even the mildest form of pressure is applied, I actually do bruise if I am grabbed. Not too bad usually... but while in a miniature tickle war, my friend's chin caught me in the shoulder and a week later it is still a nasty shade of reddish purple. |

| A few times, actually. I used to know how to do a few myself, so I could actually spot how they do it for awhile... but now and then I see performers who are just really good at it. I think the best one was one of the tricks where they have you write your name on the card.
