| The English really don't care about spoilers much of the time, it seems. They'll freely post whatever pictures that are taken on set or publicize when characters leave the show (Downton Abbey was repeatedly spoiled this season).

| I'm hearing it's supposedly their stand-ins, but I'm not getting a solid source on that one.
EDIT: Also, it's funny that I post that argument about the English and spoilers and now the producers of Sherlock are publicizing a plea to fans to stop posting set photos. It's what happens when so many things are filmed in London. Not to say we here in L.A. are discreet, but there are two factors: 1) Most of the time when we see a film crew and all the trailers that accompany it, which happens A LOT, we're more apt to bitch that it's causing traffic with all the tourists wanting to gawk and all the streets that get closed off for the shoot. 2) If you post something from a set, and they figure out where the pictures and info come from, it's possible you can be sued to all hell. When I first heard that line, I suspected either the Doctor arranged some kinky rendezvous (unlikely) or that this was a hint that they'd be bringing back Tennant or Chris Eccleston for an anniversary episode. | Also, Mother Jones reports on the false info that's been reported: namely that cellphone service was not shut down in all of Boston, only 3 people were killed (not 12), there was no bombing at JFK Library, there were no additional bombs found (even I mentioned this in a previous post), that they have a Saudi in custody, or that they have footage of a possible suspect with backpacks. | Ahhhh, revisiting old bullshit that continues to plague this family.
My parents and I are the only people who visit Lola. We take her out of the home every Sunday to have breakfast at our house, and it's always been difficult getting her back. She always cries that she going to stay with us and when we keep insisting that the home is better suited to care for her she starts playing up how Beth would take care of her, how my cousin, Eric, is always there for her (he HATES her guts), and how they love her more. This past weekend was the worst, she kept shrieking that she wanted to die if we didn't let her stay. And when we'd say she had to return to the home, she would switch to demanding that Beth will take her. Every time we tell her that isn't true, she'd keep pumping up Beth's virtues (of which she has none). I got angry and started doing that slow, over-emphasizing-every-syllable way of speaking into her ear about how Beth stole all her money and won't even come to see her, and she would deny it and cry that she's going to kill herself. It got to the point that I positioned myself behind her, lifted her up while she played dead weight (I wasn't about to pull her up by her arms; I might dislocate something), and then forced her to stand and got her walking to the car. I know it seems heartless, but we simply do not have the proper resources to caretake her any more. Once she got to the home, she was fine. Suddenly she walking around kissing everyone to say how much she missed them. As mentioned, we're the ONLY ones who visit her. If my uncle ever comes, it's to take her for a doctor's appointment. Beth never comes by. Evelyn's in Sacramento, never calls, and just plays up that she's too busy to do anything. And that just leaves us. |

| Fuck Verizon. New phones used to just cost the sales tax, but a new LG flip phone costs $50. Insult to injury when you change phones they want you to pay a $30 activation fee on your next bill.
On top of that they didn't keep my contacts, so hooray for trying to bleed those out of people on Facebook. |
