On a scale of 1-to-10, I vacuum 0-to-never. I vacuum maybe once every other year when I clean my room for whatever reason (usually that someone's staying in my room or something).
When was the last time you went swimming? |

It's been quite a long time since the last time I used a diving board, and I really don't have any stories. I was a kid in summer day camp and seemed like all the other kids were climbing up and jumping off. I never dove right. Usually just jumped, arms and legs spread, flopping backwards into the pool. I liked the feeling of falling.
Have any good stories about randomly talking to strangers? |

Tired of looking at Facebook with "Most Recent" turned on for news feed just meaning I'd essentially get "Top Stories" again since it's just telling me what's more recently been liked or commented on (not to mention all of the posts I've been missing from friends and pages, for one financially strategic reason or another FB has), I finally just made a list for the 2,000 things I want to see posts from.
Other than you're inundated with notifications of what pages your friends are liking or whom they've just friended, it's SOOOOO MUCH better. I'm finally seeing posts from all these pages I liked, but never saw posts from before. |

Made my own queso fresco for soy chorizo, egg, and potato tacos. Pretty good.

Been watching the Simpsons marathon when at home, often as background noise. Will probably be changing the channel after tonight since we're starting to hit the less funny episodes.

Playing "Dishonored." It was free this weekend on Steam, and I'd really been meaning to play it since it came out a couple years ago. It's like a perfect cross between "Bioshock Infinite" and "Fallout." Such joy.

It's highly illegal to keep calling you when you've told them to put you on the Do Not Call List, but especially when you're on the Federal Trades Commission's list. They can be sued and everything.

WHAT. THE. FUCK?!
I just... I... ugh.. Would contacting the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence help? They're in Portland, but that was the first resource I found for your state. Your state government's site has something about seeking temporary assistance for people in crisis. I'm so sorry everything's so bad. |

Alert the media?
I mean, this could turn into another case like that boy that was tortured to death by his mother and her boyfriend in Palmdale. No social workers came out to help and the media went apeshit pointing out it's another case of "falling through the cracks." |

Originally posted by Xeoman Is that your question, Xeo? No, I don't know if the Wii was worth it, never having owned one. I've never really camped out to buy anything, but I've shown up and waited all day for events. Happens when you go to Comic-Con, or live in a town where there's constantly some big, free thing to see that you want to try to beat the crowd for. What's something you were REALLY, REALLY into, but are not any more, and that you may almost feel ashamed about now? |

I unintentionally had high chaos.
Spoiler:
Probably because I would kill guards, poisoned Slackjaw's supply and robbed the safe before giving him the combination, and assassinated Overseer Campbell and the Spymaster. I otherwise just neutralized the twins and Lady Boyle and killed Granny Rags, thus saving Slackjaw. So I got the rain and thunder ending and killed Samuel before he could tell them I was there. I also saved Emily, but now she's evil. Apparently if I actively avoided killing people, things would have been nicer for me in the long run. Areas where I fought a fuckton of weepers would be safe zones, the ending would have been during a bright sunny day, and the main bad guys would be more "accepting" of the fact that I've come to kill them. I really dug the game -- the look of it, how you can practically go anywhere and climb all over the place using Blink, how there are so many ways to get into places. I possessed a fish and got into the Golden Cat's women's bathroom swimming through a drain. It was AWESOME. I've started a couple of the DLCs. The first was just a series of hard challenges and the second is the game from Daud's perspective. One of his powers is Blink, but he stops time while figuring out where he wants to land. |

Originally posted by Xeoman Seriously. The funny, classic ones that don't seem to air as often are vastly outnumbered by the annoying, overly silly, low substance episodes that are all about what celebrity guest they got to voice and constructing a shoddy story around them. There's too goddamn many of them. Anyway, watching "Living Single" this morning, as I tend to do every Thursday. |

It's funny, I usually strive to be good in games. My Fallout characters always have really high karma.
I guess I figured if I only killed people who were coming after me (still allows for having high karma in Fallout), I'd still have low chaos in "Dishonored." Nope. They want you to avoid killing at all costs. Spoiler:
Does that mean that I also don't kill the assassins at the beginning or Daud when the time comes? What about when his assassins are trying to kill me when I'm after Daud? It's pretty hard to make it through this game without killing people. |

Other than PC? Because if that counts as a game system, then that. BUT if I'm allowed one of the big three (Nintendo, Xbox, and Playstation), I'll get whatever Sony's putting out... so a PS4.
I've for some reason become brand loyal to them, and they have exclusive games I like playing (God of War, etc). I also prefer their controller. Eh, I'm not that up on console gaming. Has a book, movie, game, etc ever "changed your life"? |

YES. Any time, when I was young to even these days. Whenever I'd clean my room I'd end up with a bad cold for the next week. Not sure if that's a dust allergy or what.
Have you ever had something you recommended to someone end up blowing up in your face? |

One of my peaches from my usual guy at the farmers market. They're crisp, fresh-picked, and oh so flavorful. Whatever shall I do once they're out of season?
What movie have you been meaning to see, but have never got around to? |

My friend, Katie, is in town from the Bay Area, staying in our spare room downstairs. We took her to Solvang for her first time on Saturday and yesterday went to a Civil War re-enactment and then Shakespeare in the park. Not sure where we're going today, but I'm happy she's here.

You can find just about anything therapeutic, depending on who you are. Some people like taking bubble baths and petting cats others like creating chainsaw art and napping at death metal shows.
Fact: I love playing tour guide for out-of-town visitors. |
