| I had a rather shitty day at work on Tuesday and somehow ended up at the WWII Store in Old Town Torrance talking up the guy working there. Holy crap what a good way to spend the afternoon -- discussing how it had been the 70-year anniversary of the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima the day before and so on.
Was at Dickens Festival last weekend, which is always fun. |

As cheesy and it could be at times, I never hated on it. 
Finally sat down and watched "Fury," that WWII movie starring Brad Pitt. It's pretty good. Comparable to "Das Boot," but with an American tank instead of a German submarine. |

| You and me both, but my job does have its good days.
Last week, though, I had one of those days where I kept feeling like I couldn't do anything right. They paired me with the client that has psychotic episodes, and of course she had one while with me. I had to take her outside where she kept following me around the yard trying to hit, kick, and spit on me, she broke the mirror on another client's bike that was out there, and she kept screaming obscenities and threats while talking to the voices in her head. I'm not trained in CPI and am still pretty new and not sure how to assert myself in all situations, so of course I was just acting defensively and walking out of her range as opposed to grabbing her and physically forcing her to do anything. My boss was rather put off by this because it came off like I was letting her chase me around the yard. Anyway, the police have been coming every week, answering calls whenever she gets really over-the-top insane. They had actually come earlier that day because she was fucking crazy that morning, but her careprovider had her stay and she blew up again on my watch. (Last edited by Rogue on 03-11-15 11:43 PM) |

| Was in Arizona this past weekend visiting Brandon's mom and grandma and going to the Renaissance faire.
Good trip, but in talking with the family we found out the reason Brandon's aunt is leaving her husband is because she found out he was molesting their daughter.
By the way, he's a cop. It doesn't help that Bran's sister has also just gone through being in an asylum due to postpartum depression after having her second kid and her husband is fucking troll going, "Women had to do everything in the Bible and therefore, being a man, I don't have to do shit." There was a moment last year when all of us were fine, between Bran's grandma's heart surgeries). It's sad that couldn't have lasted longer. And in other news, my house is almost literally becoming a frat house this weekend with my cousin's son dropping in with six friends on their way to San Diego. |

| Fuck you, bitch who rammed into the back of my car while I was waiting behind another at a stop sign, then proceeded to make fun of me in Spanish and refuse to show me your registration.
Fuck all the women (presumably her friends, getting out of the church nearby) who came up to me saying I should just let her go after taking some money (by the way, it all came out to $7,000 in estimated damage). Everyone seemed to want to get her out of there before the cops showed up. Furthermore, fuck the lady cop who wouldn't impound her car when the bitch was driving without a license (she only had a Mexican ID card) and expired insurance. They instead let her friend drive it home (because, you know, the bitch is not going to drive the SUV she hit me with later that day and possibly take out another person).
