HOLY SHIT!
I mean, will it solve all your problems? Is there a payment plan? GoFundMe? |

This speaks to me.
We ate at The Habit for dinner. I had a Cobb salad, because I've been eating like shit for months. Really would have preferred a cheeseburger, but The Habit does make some great salads. |

Been watching Hulu's original series, "Harlots," lately. We'd watched about half of the first episode last year, but weren't feeling it and stopped. Restarted it recently and now we're halfway through season 2.
Since the last post, we'd also binge-watched "The Santa Clarita Diet," "Sharp Objects," and "Disenchantment." |

Originally posted by Xeoman I hear that. When it's not one thing, it's another. Definitely continue on doing yoga. When I had chronic hip and back pain (which is still a burden on my life from time to time), the only thing they gave me was a week's worth of painkillers and descriptions of stretches I needed to do. A lot of people think it's bullshit, but seriously, stretching really helps. Painkillers rarely work for me, and I could see the massive amount of improvement. I hope you're able to fix what ails you. |

Been excitedly watching the new season of "Man in the High Castle," which dropped this week. I know I'd mentioned it to you before, and I still recommend it as a sci-fi show, though it's still light on that aspect. I feel like there should be a crossover with "Rick and Morty," since MITHC is about the infinite universes and possibilities.

I'm the same way. A lot of shit never works for me, but Aleve actually does. The problem with naproxin is that you can only take so much in a day (2 pills first dose, 1 pill 12 hours later) before it's an overdose.
Glad to hear you had social time with people. Brandon and I had a busy weekend. Did Oktoberfest on Thursday. We were supposed to see an old friend from high school, but she forgot we were hanging out. I was actually glad this fell through. Oktoberfest was our Plan B that we had ready to go. We had brats, did the chicken dance, and I was in a drinking contest. Friday, went to the Greek Orthodox Festival after work. Was sooo full of food. Could barely move. On Saturday, Lee, Bran, and I went out to the apples. Got our cider and had our usual lunch at the colonial tavern. We pet the sheep and goats. There were tons of people. At night, went to a friend's birthday party and watched the big MMA fight. Sunday was a college friend's wedding. I'm exhausted and I have to go to work now. |

Well... yes and no. Brandon's working Halloween night, so it's likely I'll either stay home. It's been our unofficial tradition to go to this one guy's house to bring him a six-pack because he always decorates his house up so amazingly.
I'll be working during the day, so we'll probably have a Halloween/Harvest festival thing with the clients. The weekend before Halloween, looks like we're going to a friend's band's show and that's it. Brandon's working practically every weekend this month. I'm a persistent weekend widow most of the time. |

I'm also going through a fair amount of credit card debt at the moment. It's been consistently over $3,000 since the honeymoon. I deposit every paycheck right onto the credit card as payment and I never have cash.
Yeah, I'm probably not going to be going anywhere this Halloween, unless I have someone to go with me to Paramount to drop off that beer. |

It just kicked into being a more moderately sci-fi show this season.
Argh, the wait for season 4 has begun with a serious vengeance. Not sure what to watch now. |

I feel like I work in a sitcom. My coworkers vary between being full of shit or carrying practical jokes out on each other. A paper-mache pumpkin head went missing until we noticed it was sitting in the front seat of a co-worker's car. The staff member who'd made the damn thing over the course of a week was losing her shit.
The clients are a whole 'nother laugh riot on top of that. |

Sudden heavy rains with thunder and lightning. Of course it happens when I have to drive my parents to the airport and then sit in traffic with people nearly hitting me all over the damn place.
I love the rain. LOOOOOOVE IT. But yeah, the ONE time we get rain and it's making my life suck. |

Well, I've managed to keep busy, and people keep going, "Why are you still at this job you hate?" Because I let myself go through cycles of feeling comfortable. I still despise a lot of the people I work with, but I turn my focus back to the clients.
Anyway, I've always lived for the weekends. |

We went through "Castle Rock" in a couple days. It's ... okay. I get why people like it, and I do like Stephen King. I'm just having trouble with understanding WHY it's a continuing series and not a limited one.

I don't remember if I've said it before up there, but I'm happy Elara moved back to California. It's been great hanging out with her and Kaleb.

Latest would be that Brandon and I actually sat down together and carved jack-o'-lanterns last night and did a pretty good job of it for two people who've never really carved jack-o'-lanterns.
Otherwise, I guess it's my Tina costume I threw together. I got a few people complimenting it and others wanting geek about "Bob's Burgers." The other night we went to see our friends' bands show and another friends came dressed as Louise while Brandon and I were Gene and Tina. It ended up being a thing for some of the bands to mention on stage. "I'd like to thank all the Belcher kids for coming to the show!" Yeah, it's stupid, but I was proud. What line from a TV show or movie do you repeat to yourself simply because it brings you joy? |

Take lots of zinc. Good preventative and cuts colds short.
I had a lot of busy weekends lately, but yeah, work's back to sucking. It was to the point that I've been snapping in front of my boss, most especially at his mistress who acts like she's also a boss around there. |

Well, there are videos by people I look forward to, like Pop Culture Detective and Every Frame a Painting (though he sadly hasn't put out videos in years.)
I don't dedicatedly follow YouTube, though, to the point that the moment someone drops a video I MUST watch it. What are five things that are guaranteed to make you happy? |
