Yeah, a shame I can't find an email anywhere. I guess he just wanted to move onto other things.

Very nice! Simple and effective, I like it.
I need to get back into PHP someday. |

Like Twitch streamers, haha.
Last system I bought... Wii U and I don't regret it. I loved and still love the Wii U. It's unfortunate Nintendo fumbled up a few things and 3rd party support was nonexistent again. But there's a lot of first party gems on there you wouldn't want to miss out on if you're a Nintendo fan. The Pro controller rules too and most games supported it, so the gamepad wasn't always necessary. I can see it becoming like Nintendo's equivalent to the Sega Saturn... ie, the games are probably going to be incredibly expensive and rare down the road. What was your FIRST console? |

What sources do you use to study up on?

Yeah, I played the Steam version... no issues here but if that really is why they stalled it for two weeks that's lame. I won't be surprised if the DRM gets removed because of the backlash.
I'm also playing through Mega Man Legends 2 right now after beating the first! These are amazing. |

Not sure what my plans are but I still haven't been to a haunted house haha... we have a bunch of popular ones here in the city though. Might check that out if my friends want to do that.
My parents have a big assortment of costumes and gags, last year I just grabbed a bunch of stuff and threw it on to look silly. |

My neighbors (new?) above have decided that the best time to vacuum their place is between the hours of 5:00AM and 6:00AM. Along with moving furniture (?) and riling up their dog.
WTF |

Can't tell if you're joking or not...
But yeah if it happens again I think I'll put a note on their door, asking them to not vacuum around those hours and at the bottom: Sincerely, - Common Sense What's extra bizarre is that the few times I'm up later, so are they. So I have no idea when these people sleep, if ever. (Last edited by Xeoman on 09-09-17 11:40 PM) |

Episode 8 sounds pretty weird from some impressions out there, typical of the Looper director... apparently Mark Hamill has been pretty vocal about his dislike for where they took Luke's character too. I'm not sure what to expect. Maybe it'll be good-weird.

Amazon does that... I have to say though I continue to be really disappointed with their Prime Video selection. Even when I look up bad B-grade movies or actors, etc, I never really find anything good I haven't seen yet. Maybe I'll finally cave and get Netflix someday.
Do you have any nieces or nephews? Now that's when time starts getting really weird... every time I see my family and sister my nephew looks like a different kid. |

Big fan of replaying games a lot actually, probably why I'm not too into MMO's or multiplayer... I like to beat games and hit up new stuff shortly after, rinse and repeat! But I will say the Mega Man games (NES and X series) along with Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis and CD) tend to be the old ones I never tire of. I love that you can burn through one of these in a single sitting. Super Metroid and Link to the Past are some other favorites. For newer stuff I go back to Bioshock's, Dead Space, Resident Evil's, Metal Gear Solid's, etc a lot. Oh and Doom is timeless.
How small or big is your family? |

Maybe someone else reported them or something, there's been no issues since my last post there. Phew...
Speaking of insurance/claims bull though, the surgery bills hurt more than the damn surgery did. I don't even get what "out of pocket maximum" means when it doesn't include the 2k I owe the hospital directly and am starting to pay. And the bills and claims are still coming in. I assume if I paid enough to hit my out of pocket maximum by the end of the year the rest of the bills would be taken care of, but apparently not from what I gathered talking to my insurance. So I guess there's no race for me to pay this off now... even though I hate being in debt. Scary to think Blue Cross Blue Shield is supposed to be one of the better insurance options out there from what I've heard and is compared to when I had Aetna in the past. I don't expect a free pass or anything, but shit I didn't think it would cost a car worth out of my own pocket to get a simple procedure done. Insurance didn't even cover the damn CT scan which was $200 something and my three doctor visits were around that price as well. The US seriously cannot go on like this.
