Well, I geuss I can be the tester. I'll be using my robot character, MES-SBOCC 1. I have to tell you that it is capable of using two original magic elementa;s- Energy and Anti-magic elemental. (Think anti-matter) If that's going to be a problem let me know. And don't worry, they're nothing cheap or too powerful.
The setting will be nothing speciall. A large grassy plain with a few trees and small bushes scattered here and there. Clear blue, sunny sky with a warm breeze passing by. A nice day. There stood the robot, motionless. It's shape very much resembled that of a humanoid being. It had curvaceous body parts that looked very aerodynamic, the armor plating shined with brilliance as the teh sun light bounced off it. In various places were digital gauges and power meters. All were protected with a type of very strongglass. It's dark red eyes told of a mysterious and dangerous creation. They suddenly came alive, emitting a bright infra-red light from inside and then dimmed after it had completed a scan of it's surroundings. All the gauges had lit up as well. The robot moved it's arms slightly forward before taking a step forward for balance corection calculations. It came to a halt after several feet and turned it's head to look around some more. It then turned back to the figure just in front of it. It stared at him for a moment then began running a diagnostic on it's systems. System start-up.... Running power through system network..... MES-SBOCC stood by and observed the actions of the its target, watching it move in a circular movement. No offensive action had been taken just yet, so the cyber could not gather information on the person's fighting. With it's battle command online, MES-SBOCC raised its right arm up from its side out toward and following the target. A small energy cannon popped up from a wrist compartment hidden under the curvaceous fore arm and was targeted on the being. There was only a short energy feed to the weapon before MES-SBOCC calculated where the target's precise position would be based on speed of movement and projectile and fired a quick laser pulse to that location.

I have a set I'd like to submit sometime when you're ready. I also have a question: Is there ANY way you or somebody knows of that can make it so the rank post requirements are in order?

In Sonic 2 in the Oil Ocean Zone, Act 2 I believe, I'm sure yoiu gotten to and seen the part with the gray disc platforms that jet upward with the booster on the bottom. I found this trick by accident, and it's been several years since I last played the game so I've forgotten exatly how to do it, but hanging around there, if you jump underneath or something then you either get hit and and fall behind it or just fall behind. After that happens then you're able to run much faster than before. Like I said, it's been so long since I played the game, so I probably wouldn't even be able to remember how to do it, but maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about.

Yaaaay!! Story time.
It all started back in early highschool, 9th grade. I rented (and eventually bought) an underrated game called Secret of Evermore for the SNES. An RPG. In this game you start out with a bazooka and lose it shortly after, but get it back later. There are 3 different rounds with this weapon: Thunder Ball, Particle Shot and Cryo Shot (the last being the strongest) At the time I didn't know what Cryo meant, but it sounded like a cool word. I was, asn still am, fond of cool and originl names and words. So, for an Earth Science Project I had to do involving drawing a city with gridlines and such, I name my lake on the north side of the town "Cyro Lake" Aha, notice how the spelling of Cryo was changed? The "r" and the "y" are switched around. That was a complete mistake. One that I never noticed until a couple years later. So with that in mind, it came time for me to take my first steps into the world of online chatting. At first I could think of a name to come up with. I thought back to the word "Cyro" and mentioned it to my younger brother. He thought it was a smooth sounding SN. So, I used the name "cyro." on the chatroom (which was the now gone Z.com, later changed to Q.com) I added the "." because I needed a name with 5 characters. So that was the name I used for a couple other things, including my current email that I've had for several years now. After a while I grew bored with having just Cyro, so I added another word to that- Star. "Cyro Star" was born. The only place I really used that was for a the Armored Core series and a few other games, and on the MSN game network. I played chess quite often. One special thing I did with that name is make an emblem, which I still hold in my heart. It's called the Cyro Star. Again as a year or two flew by I grew bored with that name. It sounded a bit too kiddish for me. My creativity took part in helping find a better suffix. Teh word Zero sounds cool, but like Xeogred, replacing the "Z" for an "X" made it look much better. So I stuck "Xero" to my Cyro name and got "Cyro Xero". This happened about 3 years ago, maybe 4. I've used this name all the way from when I first discovered Acmlm's board up until this very post. I don't think I'll ever change it since so many people know me by this name. That and it's stuck with me all these years. A year and a half ago I gave my name a meaning- one who is calm like ice and very energetic like lightning and energy. If you hold your mouse over my sig (for you IE users you will get a little message saying something about it. That meaning is very much true for me. Now THAT was a story. You're kidding me about Unscrewed being cancelled.... Why teh hell did they do that? I can say that I'm glad I got a long chance to watch TechTV before the merge. It was my favorite channel next to Sci-Fi when I was staying in a hotel at Ft. McCoy for two months. I never liked teh merge to begin with, and ever since I stop watching it (because it's not on where I live) I haven't been keeping up to date on what's been going on. Butwhat you guys are saying is just horroble. I didn't really have any interest in G$, and I thought that it was kind of stupid when I first saw it (with this going on I still think it is). I find it rather silly that a program just messed up a good one over time. What are they planning to come out with by having everything screwed up?

Well, it may not mean a whole lot, but I at least buy as much anime as I download. There are just some that I'd rather get on DVD. For long series, like Naruto, I think buying them is a bit too much to spend. As far as the illegal stuff goes, what do you think make more money here in the US? Anime, or music? Anime is going to be one of the last things on the minds of the Feds because it's not popular, and by that I mean totally mainstream, like music. which is something that generates billions each year. If Pokemon was as big now as it was way back yonder and people were downloading like crazy, then there would probably be a problem. Besides, the only time you can DL anime is if it hasn't been licensed yet. When something isn't licensed, is it legal to arrest somebody for downloading it? I ask that as a question of curiousity becuase I don't know.

Originally posted by Kaijin I guess that would be it. Let's get one thing straight: In a real battle what would YOU want to do to defeat the other person. Pretend you got into a fist fight at school. You were going up against someone who could pound you, BUT, you know he has a soft soft spot somewhere. Wouldn't you want to find that weakness so you can win with out getting beaten down? Fighting, and sim battling too, isn't about just one thing. It's about a few. Finding a weakness is just one. Another is strategy- using clever tricks to outsmart your opponent to strike. Brute forrce is also a method, but one that's recommend only when you can do it with out getting too hurt yourself. If you're able to do it an entire fight then so be it. I say these because I claim to sim battle on a different plane than most everyone else, and that is fighting like it's a real life battle, one where details and all that wouldn't matter. But that's how I fight, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with detailing. However, details aren't everything too. Sometimes putting in smart planning and executing greatly helps to overwhelm the other player and force him to quit. Always forcing yourself to make lengthy posts helps to come up with those aspects, and maybe even some new ones. Each way you fight can have a big impact on your victory, but most of the time not by itself, unless you're playing against someone new. Know your enemy, plan your fighting and try to use anything he/she has to your advantage. Of course we all know that with certain people who sim battle, being cheap isn't something they're above, and that can pretty much srew up the mood of the battle. I personally dislike people who cheat in the slightest just to win badly or avoid losing, and I don't want to bother with them. |

I usually use Bittorrent for downloading, but ever since Naruto became licensed I've found that Lime Wire has some very fast downloads for the newer episodes. So Lime wire is what I use for Naruto. Everything else goes with Bittorrent.

[sorry for not posting in a while]
MES-SBOCC ignored the possible calculation error and went about thinking some more. The projectile had missed the being on the first fire, but perhaps a few at a time would increase the chance of a direct hit. Holding his arm out with the small wrist cannon, the robot launched 4 more laser pulses at its enemy in a random pattern. |

May I suggest a site to go to? HTML goodies is a good start. Go to the HTML Pirmers and read up on them. 7 total, and they cover all the basics.

Deesse always changes her layouts, so whatever she has up is what she reminds me of.
Tamarin reminds me of him as some kid knight on a quest for a sword all the time. I see True Flight as a clock with wings flying past the clouds. Heh. Sparda reminds my of Dante. A lot. |

I hate to bump this up, but could the bio text fields in the the profile editing be expanded to about twice the size? I wouldn't be asking about it again if I didn't really use it a lot. |
