Meh, fire will be a weakness. Not much I can do there. Plants don't burn in one post. I'll use other plants besides the petals. I have my plans. Although, I do need another power.

Any ideas? Just something small, but strategic.

The rocks may have been a problem, except for the fact that they shot nowhere near him. A tree lay directly between the dome and Samuel, so when it exploded, none of the rocks that shot off were flying in his direction.

Samuel alighted upon the ground and ran towards Joe gracefully, his sword held aloft and ready for an attack. When he reached Joe, a diagonal slash was sent downwards. No lightning would be used if the sword hit.

Samuel wanted a close ranged fight.

From behind a blue leafed tree stepped an older man. He wore a plain black t-shirt that clung tightly to his muscular frame. Simple jeans and sneakers were worn on his legs and feet for easy maneuverability.

"Your name is all over the bingo books, Phoenix," the man sneered. "It's hard as hell to find a canary such as yourself when you're hiding. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Joe, and I will be taking your life today."

With that, the man called Joe reached into his pockets and drew two trench knives.

This was going to get sloppy.

He ran at Phoenix, putting each of the orbs of fire into a vacuum, extinguishing them. When he reached his opponent, an upward slice was sent upwards with his right hand at Phoenix's chest and stomach.

To avoid this kick was simple.

Joe continued running forward and into Phoenix. With his leg in the air, he would be extremely off balance and most likely fall to the ground. If he did, Joe would raise a single spike upwards from the ground, letting Phoenix impale himself due to simple physics.

The hook smashed into the back of Joe's head, the man having no visibility of the attack. But, a punch is a punch. Phoenix would have to do much better than that of he expected to kill him.

Joe smiled despite his vision blurring and spun around. As he did so, he willed two spikes of earth to erupt from below Phoenix's feet. They would pierce his feet, leaving the man greatly hindered on foot.

The first hit had been made, and now was time for first blood.

The fourth season definitely made some redemptions, but I wish they would have continued with the second season plots.
