He decided to wait and see what the rest of the group would do. That Daniel guy would almost certainly do whatever Victoria said, but what about everyone else? There was also that guy Frankie... Chris sighed inwardly, wondering where the hell they were for the thousandth time while staring at the tree the old woman had just mentioned. More birds. Chris shivered reflexively, never taking his eyes off of the tree. |

Heh, it doesn't help that you haven't even posted 250 times since I've been here. You've been on the same rank 'On Fire' since I first started posting.
Lol. I don't spam anymore, at least, I'd like to think that I don;t anymore. At the beginning I had a good amount of spam, but now I really try to add something to conversations and make valid posts. I used to teat this place like Facebook, really. I just posted all over the place thinking it was a large game, but forums are much different than that. Well, some of them. I've wandered around a bit, and most boards are nothing but spam. But I like it here, and I don't plan on ruining it with spam. My posts have dropped rapidly since I've reached 1000. I find myself skipping threads and forums all together because I can't add anything to a conversation. So, as I said, I would like to think that I have matured post-wise since my arrival here, but I don't know. Everyone else still thinks me to be a spammer, so oh well. I was under the impression that Urban Astronaut was the spammer on the board. Heh. As for jumping the post counts for the entire board, yeah, I feel kind of good about it. I love looking at the stats and watching the boom of posts right around when I started posting. It's sticking around an average of sixty/seventy posts a day, but it's not all me. Everyone does their part, I just started adding things to conversations. All in all, I think I made a few good friends here. Stealing their rank is just a bonus.  |

| I have to call financial aid on Tuesday to see if I can go to college this semester or not. Even if that comes through, I need to harass my former senior principle because she still hasn't sent in my transcript, which I need if I want to attend college.
Otherwise, I have this damn short story to write for the competition, I need to sell my 360, keep looking for jobs, and mature some more, apparently. Oh, and I'd like to get back in shape. Goals galore. |

| Phoenix cursed softly as the ground began to freeze. His wings still needed a small bit of rest after the damage they had taken, but he needed to get up high.
Acting quickly, Phoenix formed ash below him, hardening it into coal. It formed a small disk upon which he stood. With effort, Phoenix lifted himself to the same height as the Demon. As a precaution, he heated himself to tremendous temperatures, hotter than he had ever dared to before. He needed to protect himself from the cold that this woman was using. This effort took away from the concentration Phoenix had before, so he had to start over. He slowed his breathing, his muscles relaxing in the heat emanating from them. This was an interesting battle. |
