But I don't wanna live inside Xeo...

"Post like you're on a message board." "Post like there's no one holding a gun to your head." "Post, damn it!" "Oh shit! It's Xeogaming!" "Where serious people fear to tread..." "Where people post just because." "Where we cross the line and shit on it too." "Where you shouldn't say the fuckin' f-word." "Where the Rogue does it from behind." (inside joke... you have to see some other post somewhere or whatever) "Where bored people reign." EDIT: Adding some more... "Where we save you hundreds on your car insurance." "Where flaming isn't just getting insulted." "Where you get 50 giggly, naked virgins upon joining (As soon as there are 49 other virgins than Xeo, we'll let you know.)" (Hehe, don't kill me) "Where sleep is just a hobby." "Where we won't even tolerate canned Spam." (Last edited by Rogue on 05-06-06 03:23 PM)

Originally posted by Elara I always carry SPF 70 with me... except lately. Salina currently has my bottle since she carried it with her last weekend. Another addition: - Absolutely obnoxious people who invite themselves to things you do with your friends. A friend of a friend decided she was going to join my friend Christina (kittybob) and me when we go to this Renaissance festival tomorrow and also to this after-hours concert we're hitting after the faire. Without me saying anything about this person, my friend had already launched into a rant about how she's fine the first 30 minutes, but after that she's unbearable to be around. ARGH! I tend to find the silver lining to everything and be happy, so I'm hoping that she's going to pay most of her attention to this guy that she's bringing who already has a girlfriend. Anyway, rant over. I'm going to go and have fun. End of story.

It's $10 for that show.
|
Brandon might be taking you up on that extra ticket. We were planning on going the weekend of the 13th.. probably the 14th, since he has work and I might have other plans. I have that free ticket that I got last time at faire. OK, just checked with him, he's open on Sunday. It's possible to find Bernie something, but I'm not sure what. If I still had my Fredrick's corset, she could borrow that, but it's still out on loan and I HIGHLY doubt it's coming back. There is always taking a tight shirt, cutting it down the middle and lacing it.

Sorry to double-post, but according to the Merry Wives, Hugh Jackman was at faire on Sunday and he came up to talk to them after their show.
|
I'm not agonizing over it like a lot of people who just discovered he was there are, but damn...

Ha!

Now I want my own customized format where EVERYTHING is black, including the writing (just to piss off the people too dumb to 'select all') and all you can see is this ever-changing banner of crazy shit. (restricted) |

Raw eggs are often used as a topping to ramen, in Japan. We here in the States tend to now eat it that way and except other toppings like hard boiled eggs, chicken, pork, vegetables and shoots. |

Cairoi, I join you in your quest.

Pockets, honey, you put your personal situation up for debate. There was bound to be an extreme view opposing your own somewhere down the line. I hate to say grin and bear it, as yes, this is a reality for you and Makura, but it's a debate and you are an interested party. Kaijin, my brother in arms, I know you feel strongly about MANY things and you can proudly put your foot down on an issue and call yourself the board's hardass admin, but it is probably best if you left your opinion on the issue rather than the couple themselves. They are already facing a personal turmoil, that one could argue they brought upon themselves, and they have to deal with the consequences head-on. What they have done was of their own free will. Pockets didn't trick Makura into having sex with him, nor her he. Love, lust, dumb luck, it's their lives. I'm not asking you to walk on egg shells and deny your strong opinion which you give so freely, saints bless it, but leave out the "'Well I love her!' No. You don't." Now for my opinion on the issue... (as though anyone would care) I was sexually-active before I was of legal age. I hadn't actually had any form of penetration until I was 18, but for lack of any details, my boyfriend (of 4 years) was doing things to me that he could have been put away for. Partaking even in touching can be an intense emotional thing to do for a girl. It's sharing yourself with someone else and giving of yourself. To be rejected after giving yourself emotionally, spiritually, and physically to another can be devastating. It's one of many reasons why I don't think most minors should be partaking in it. At 15, most girls don't have the rationality to divorce the physical from the emotional. Thus they think that by throwing themselves upon others that their affection is returned by the other taking what is offered. As one who has separated sex from love and love and sex from marriage, I feel that if one can learn to give without regret, even in the face of rejection, then he or she is old enough to understand what they are doing. This isn't to say that you have my blessing to sleep with anyone you see fit, for I still save myself for only those I feel are worthy. This is to say that it's entirely possible for one not recognized by the law as mature or ready to make wise decisions. Love does exist at 15, but it takes years to understand it. You have to have been burned and kicked around in your years to divine true love. The human heart is a miracle of foolery and angst, ain't it? What's done is done. You don't regret what has happened and it's best not to. As for age difference, I've dated 30-something-year-old men when I was 18. Love knows no bounds, though I can honestly say that I did not love those men. Do I regret my sins? Nay, sir. They can throw me to Hell and I'll dance with devil as the day is long (for I hear days in Hell last weeks.. my shoes would be filled with blood). Heh, I used to be a big Ricky Martin fan back in the day, and still dig his sound.
|
I, too, will listen to just about anything, but I tend to steer clear of some things if given the choice. Rap is among those. Right now I'm listening to "You Spin Me" by Dead or Alive and I just wanna get up and dance around Zoso's apartment.

Actually I'm surprised he posted this... and then not.

I'm a rather boring person to watch and our interactions are usually riddled with inside jokes and utter randomness that isn't funny to anyone else. (restricted) | (restricted) |

As I watch parts of this now, since I hadn't earlier, the pixilation makes it look like I'm missing a whole lot of teeth. How random.
|
In truth, I have no odd gaps or missing teeth. I also look very, VERY round. Capturing me sitting makes for some really bad shots. Then again, I am pretty spherical as is. Why do these things of me keep making it onto the Internet?

Heh and that's not really a favorable place for the camera. It looks up our noses and other things. Maybe suspending it off the ceiling?
|
Man, that angle really makes me look like I have a potato for a head and no neck. I really don't look good in 2D. EDIT: Now that I've seen the Brandon one, I'm laughing my ass off in my computer lab and no one around me gets it. HAHA! (Last edited by Rogue on 05-09-06 02:36 PM)

Oh Jeez... I have TOO many favorites. I'm almost certain I'll keep coming around to update my list.
|
Well, in no particular order: - Battle Royale (Come on, what could be more fun than 40 kids forced to kill each other as part of a fucked-up program a corrupt government put together to stick it to youngsters everywhere? A lot of people like this movie for the wrong reasons saying it's deep, dark and provacative. I just like it for its camp value. A girl, as she lays dying, looks up at the boy she's been in love with forever and in her last, faltering breath utters, "You look really cool.." HIIIIIO! Seriously, though, I love everything Battle Royale... even the so-called crappy sequel.) - The Big Lebowski (I love this movie. I go to festivals themed after it, I know all of the words to it and quote it along with movie. It's so great to be in a room with a bunch of people who are also into it and saying the lines right along with you.) - Hedwig and the Angry Inch (This is ABSOLUTELY one of my most treasured films. I keep this one close to my heart. Screw Rocky Horror, give me Hedwig!) - Cannibal: The Musical! (Along with Hedwig this is my favorite musical. Even though I don't watch it all the time, I still feel really sad inside when someone borrows it. Had the same feeling when someone borrowed Lebowski.) - Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Dogma, Clerks, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl (I'm a HUGE fan of Kevin Smith and his films. Heh, I have several stories about meeting him in person. Though Jersey Girl is my least favorite and not even really among my top favorite films of all time, I still count it as a loyal Kevin fan.) - Christopher Guest's films: A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, This is Spinal Tap (His mockumentary style is just so spiffy.) - Stephen Chow's films: Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer, Hail to the Judge, etc (I love Kung Fu films and I like cartoon, slapstick comedy. This makes a perfect zen of the twain. Stephen Chow absolutely rocks.) - Indiana Jones movies (These have been up there in my ultimate favorites since I can remember and they always will be up there.) - Sin City (AMAZING movie. Honestly the best comic book movie I've ever seen, in my opinion. I do say, though, that I'm a huge fan of comic book films and love them all, except some of the recent ones, but Sin City is just so great, though it drags a little.) Now for the ones that I love, but I feel I don't need to explain with a passion (also in no particular order): - Krippendorf's Tribe - Kill Bill Volume 1 - Baseketball - Orgazmo - The Rocky Horror Picture Show - Quills - Sky Blue (Or "Wonderful Days" depending on what edition you have.) - Ghost World - House of Flying Daggers - The Aristocrats - Army of Darkness (Bwahaha! And I have the official bootleg edition) - Comic Book: The Movie - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - The Lion King - Princess Mononoke - Hook - Dick Tracy - The Graduate - Snatch - Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (I really like Guy Ritchie movies.) - The Incredibles - Meet the Feebles (Though I can really only watch this so much.) |
