| Well, Raven I will be bluntly honest with you... you need to tell someone about this and the other stuff that has been going on. Yes I know it's a tough thing to do, and I know that you're gonna have to talk fast to keep them from killing the bastard, but it has to be done. Restraining order, that is all I gotta say.
Other than that, I plan on going out there and castrating the piece of filth myself. |

| Um, Boondock... it wasn't a "rent-a-cop", it was a police officer of the city of Long Beach that came onto campus and did this.
My mention of the campus police was something else, although to note, our campus security is also Long Beach PD, we don't use rent-a-cops anymore. |

| Well, my name is rather simple really
ElaraSiannodel - that was my original name when I started on Vizzed, and here as well actually. After awhile I just thought that it was too long, so I shortened it to Elara. Now, as for the meaning: Elara Siannodel is the name of one of my D&D characters that I am writing a novel about. I got the name Elara from the dictionary actually... she was a figure in Greek mythology; the mother of the giant Tityus by Zeus. Siannodel is an Elven last name from the Player's Handbook and it means Moonbrook. Elara is now also part of my Craft name. I know that on a few places you'll find me listed as either ElaraDreamstar or just Dreamstar as well. Dreamstar is another character of mine, kinda an original version of Elara. Elara Dreamstar is my full Craft name, which for those of you unfamiliar with the term, "Craft name" is a special name that Wiccans gain upon initiation to the religion, I think most other Pagan religions have some equivalent. Oh yeah, and my real name is Crystle. 
But yeah... why do I find it funny that Makura means both "pillow" and "total darkness"... speaking of which, now I am sleepy thinking about that. |

I think that the main thing that the police did do wrong is that they did not tell the student what the tape was needed for. What are you gonna think when a cop corners you like that and says "give up the camera or you're going to jail"? If they had told him they needed it for evidence then perhaps there would be no issue. |

I am glad to hear that you are doing something about it at least. I take it you finally told Vin? Honey, all that matters is that you and the family members you care about are safe from that monster. You have grounds for a restraining order and you have had it for awhile, I say that you get one so he can't hurt you ever again. I'm not sure if you can include your siblings, but I think you can... or file ones for them too. That "man" does not deserve to be anywhere within a ten thousand mile radius of you. Kaijin is right, Vin is more your father than he is, just trust in him and those that love you (like us) and you'll get through this. | It's a nice name, but I really don't think that it is wise to name your kid after an anime character like that since it will most likely lead to teasing. However, if it really seems to fit, or say your spouse is Japanese (I know so many of you wish for that), then meh.
