I'm agnostic and occasionally say, "God's teeth!"
I had a friend who used to say, "By the shriveled scrotum of Saint Elmo!" of course he only said it occasionally. It was really funny to later see the same expression used in a novel. (Last edited by Rogue on 05-22-06 06:52 PM) |

You should check out Roybertito's. Breehn did that one for Comic-Con last year and it was shown in this year's festival tour.
|
It's pretty funny, and features Dr. Tran. ![]() EDIT: Now after checking out what YouTube has to offer for Roybertito's, looks like there's an original and what G4 decided to show: The original version G4's version (Last edited by Rogue on 05-23-06 02:54 PM)

OK, so I've been bored and filling these things out. Go ahead and fill them out too. I'll read 'em. Seriously. I will. I'm in my office all day today.
|
1. First Name? - Christine. 2. Were you named after anyone? - Jesus Christ (first name) and the Virgin Mary (middle name). 3. Do you wish on stars? - Used to. 4. When did you last cry? - Actually have to think about this. The last time I shed a tear was when I was watching "South Park" and it was the episode where Butters had his heart broken by the Raisins girl and he said that it made him feel alive and happy to know there was something he felt so strongly about that made him feel that sad. I think what made me tear up about it was how you could tell it was Trey Parker speaking through him. I can't remember what the last thing I truly sobbed about was. It's been a long time since I've completely cried. 5. Do you like your handwriting? - Sometimes. Usually on my calendar and in my journal when I write about things I happily plan on doing. Otherwise, it looks rushed and sloppy. 6. What is your birthdate? - January 14, 1985 7. What is your most embarrassing CD? - 8. If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you? - Probably, but I'd hate me behind my back. 9. Do you have a journal? - Yes, both real and online, though my real journal is just a book I carry with me all the time to keep track of phone numbers, dates, events, and is just something I write in when I'm bored or want to flay out a thought or day that several people are trying to reserve me for. 10. Do you use sarcasm a lot? - Sure, why not? 11. What is your nickname? - Rogue (my most widely-accepted nickname on the Internet and in real life). Geek Pimptress, Fairy Geek Mother, Geek Girl, and various incarnations with the word Geek in it (Bestowed upon me by Rocky friends and other social circles in which I dwell) 12. Would you bungee jump? - Definitely, but I've lost some of my confidence. Need to lose weight and then I'll jump off of things. 13. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? - Only my boots that lace up my legs. Most of the time I just slip 'em off, that is if I wear shoes. 14. Do you think that you are strong? - I'd say I am for my stature. 15. What is your least favorite thing about yourself? - My scatter-brainess. Closely followed by my appearance. 16. Who do you miss most? - My friend, James. I haven't seen him since high school and every time I get the opportunity to see him and hang out something gets in the way. 17. Do you want everyone you send this to, to send it back? - If they want to, but this is getting posted on a message board. 18. What color pants and shoes are you wearing? - Not wearing pants--I'm wearing a long, flowing black/beige batik print skirt with a jagged-cut black dress over that, and I'm barefoot. 19. What are you listening to right now? - Watching "Seinfeld" and at this exact moment listening to "She Has a Girlfriend Now" by Reel Big Fish and Save Ferris. 20. Last thing you ate? - Tiramisu and chicken fettucini alfredo at Zenstro Bistro. 21. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? - Blean. 22. Last fun thing you did? - The last fun thing? That all depends on your definition of fun. Sleeping in this morning was pretty fun since I rarely get to do it, but let's see... last night stayed up watching "South Park" DVDs with Zabuza and Zoso after hanging out at the NoHo Arts Festival. I pretty much have fun doing the most inane things. 23. What is the weather like right now? - It's night. Looked outside, it's a little moist and cloudy. It rained last night. Might rain again tonight. 24. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? - Zoso, just before dropping in to meet him for dinner on kittybob's cell. 25. The first thing you notice about the opposite sex? - Hair. Not in a conceited way, but it's the first thing that jumps out at you usually. 26. Do you like the person who sent this to you? - This was posted in LJ by someone I'd consider a friend, so yeah. 27. Favorite drink? - Jones Green Apple soda tops a long list of favorite drinks. 28. Favorite sport? - To play: baseball. To watch: Lacrosse 29. Hair color? - Brown. On my state ID, I'm pictured with orange hair, pink in the front. I was just coming off my Rogue hair of white streaks in front and brown throughout. 30. Eye color? - Brown. 31. Do you wear contacts? - Nope. 32. Favorite food? - Faire food. Though for everyday I love Mexican, Mediterranean, English/Irish, and anything covered in melted cheese. 33. Last movie you watched? - Reservoir Dogs. 34. Favorite day of the year? - Mid-July. The epicenter of con season among many other great events that go on only in mid-July (masquerade, etc). 35. Scary movies or happy endings? - Happy endings. Unless I hate the characters, then I'd like to see evil triumph. 36. Summer or winter? - It's a lot more fun finding ways to keep warm than keep cool. 37. Hugs or kisses? - Both! 38. Your favorite dessert? - Mint chocolate anything. 39. Who is most likely to respond? - Whoever hits the "New Reply" button first. I don't know. 40. Who is least likely to respond? - Junkie. He avoids the board. 41. Living arrangements? - Two story house with open-minded parents, two cats, and a cockatiel. Zoso has a key and can come over whenever he wants, no matter how late. There's a lock on my door. 42. What's on your mouse pad? - At my house, I don't use a mousepad, but at Zoso's he has this one that looks like a Verizon ad. 43. What did you watch last night on TV? - "South Park" DVDs, didn't watch TV. 44. Favorite smells? - Fresh laundry (who doesn't like that?) faire smells (wet hay, horses, frying food, all kinds of meat cooking, incense, herbs, oils, cinnamon wafting on the air) con smells (light smell of Jones soda, slight BO as many people at cons don't bathe... why would I like such a smell? Because smell is the strongest memory evoker and these things awaken great memories). 45. Favorite sounds? - The beating of a bodhran or a djembe, the strumming of a lute, and the tinging sounds of finger symbols. The cheering of crowds watching circus sideshows, loud and lusty cheers, laughter at bawdy jokes. 46. What's the furthest you've been from home? - North: Canada. Not sure of the specifics as it was to go to the '86 Expo and I was 1 at the time. South/West: Hawaii, been to all of the islands. East: France.

I can't really speak for everyone when I say that I feel rather apathetic toward him.
|
He's just sort of there. He's cool one minute and then ridiculous the next. The only thing about him that I've ever felt strongly about was his constant promises that he wouldn't take any more money out of education and would even add to the budget for it, but then that same week did the exact opposite. Education in our state is poor enough without having to have budget cuts all over the place, and right now our college, among hundreds of other schools in the state, is going through censuses. If we don't reach a certain number of students, they take away the funding they finally gave us after we protested for it. So, they want over-crowding. True, many of these things aren't his fault, per se, but they've sure gone to shit. I'm more mad at L.A.'s mayor for some of the decisions he's made lately. Perhaps you should take out the asking people in the audience to ask questions part. Two of the interviews haven't been posted in since May 7th, and even in the past the going to the audience has held up completing interviews.
|
Interviews shouldn't be inactive for this long.

God, these are so retarded... but I'm so bored:
|
1) How old do you wish you were? I'm happy with the age I am now, though I sometimes wish I was 17 again. Oh well. 21 is even better. 2) Where were you when 9/11 happened? At home, sleeping, getting ready for school, at school, home. 3) What do you do when vending machines steal your money? Feel frustrated and if I'm annoyed enough write an angry note to the people who own them and call them depending on what info is on the machine. 4) Do you consider yourself kind? Most of the time. 5) If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be? My right upper arm. 6) If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be? Mandarin. 7) Do you know your neighbors? Not well, yet more than I'd like to at the same time. I know the ones who've been there my whole life, but the ones who've just moved in in the past 5 years are almost not worth knowing. 8) What do you consider a vacation? Time spent out of the 562 that lasts more than 24 hours. 9) Do you follow your horoscope? Once in a while, since the one in our local paper actually has relatively accurate ones, but usually I only read it when I buy my paper for the crossword puzzle. 10) Would you move for the person you loved? Yes. Especially if it means getting out of California. I need a change. 11) Are you touchy feely? Occasionally, but usually when I'm alone with Zoso. Any other time is rare. 12) Do you believe that opposites attract? Usually, but when it comes to staying together there has to be some common ground. 13) Dream job? Freelance writer extraordinaire for all the major publications out there. 14) Favorite channel(s) Discovery, PBS, and SciFi (Oxygen for Xena, though). I tend to hate television and only watch if I have access to cable. Otherwise, I'd rather be outside. 15) Favorite place to go on weekends? Other than San Diego for Comic-Con? Hmm museum crawls in and around L.A., festivals, faires, conventions (if they're going on), exploring. 16) Showers or Baths? I don't have the time for baths. 17) Do you paint your nails? Not since middle school and even then it was just for shits. 18) Do you trust people easily? I used to. I still tend to be a bit gullible, I guess. It's just when someone tells me something, I'd like to believe them. It's when someone becomes too much of a chronic liar that I can't stand to be around them any more. I abhor dishonesty. 19) What are your phobias? Dark places when I'm alone and being stuck inside or in small areas or in places small crowded places for too long. 20) Do you want kids? Not really. 21) Do you keep a handwritten journal? Yes, but I don't keep it like a journal. 22) Where would you rather be right now? Comic-Con. 23) What makes you feel warm and fuzzy? Hugs from Zoso, they're warm and he's fuzzy. ![]() 24) Heavy or light sleep? Either or. I can sleep through the end of the world, but if I need to wake up early for something, I can sleep light to make it easier to get up. 25) Are you paranoid? I've got my trusty tin foil hat with me at all times. ![]() ![]() 26) Are you impatient? Very, but usually because I don't want to miss things or be rude to people who are waiting for me to get there and anything that gets in my way either dies or gets insulted. 27) Who can you relate to? Margaret Cho. 28) How do you feel about interracial couples? I am the product of one. I NEVER saw the problem with them and have had several boyfriends that didn't match my nationality. Technically Zoso doesn't match mine either. 29) Have you been burned by love? Not really. Burned in a way that I've been in a bad relationship, but I didn't love the guy. 30) What's your life motto? I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. 31) What's your main ringtone on your mobile? Don't have a "mobile." 32) What were you doing at midnight last night? I think I had dozed off after just getting back to Zoso's apartment from the office. We were watching South Park. 33) Who was the last person to send you a text message? Nelson. Years ago. When I briefly had a cell phone. 34) Who's bed did you sleep in last night? Zoso's. He slept on the couch. 35) What color shirt are you wearing? I'm not wearing a shirt---wearing a black dress. 37) Name three things you have at all times? 1. Skin 2. Bones 3. Circulatory System OK.. seriously... 1. Date book/calendar 2. State ID 3. My green bag that carries everything I find. It's been through Hell, but it's always with me. 38.) What color are your bed sheets? I currently don't have bed sheets on my bed. It's just layers of blankets and quilts. 39) How much cash do you have on you right now? $15 in my wallet 40) What is your favorite part of the chicken? Breast. ![]() 41) What's your favorite town/city? L.A., San Francisco, and London. 42) I can't wait 'til: Comic-Con! 43) Who got you to join myspace? I'm not on MySpace. Don't even get me started. 44) What did you have for dinner last night? Half a Rally's hamburger. 45) How tall are you barefoot? I've been measured to be 5'6", but I seem to be even shorter compared to people who claim to be 5'6". 46) Have you ever smoked heroin? No... um... you shoot that, don't you? 47) Do you u own a gun? Not yet. And to whomever wrote this meme, can't you spell out your words? I'm getting tired of copy-editing your stupid survey. 48) What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Coke, no ice. 49) What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex? Gratuitous amounts of sex. OK, OK... *sigh* personality. 50) Do you have A.D.D.? No one has A.D.D., that's just another thing doctors cooked up to sell meds. Be parents, people. Stop drugging your kids because you're too lazy to figure that kids'll be kids, kicking, screaming, running around in circles and all. If I actually went to doctors like I should, since I hate doctors, they'd tell me I do. Hell, they'll tell me I have all sorts of things I'd have to read up about, but I'll bet that I don't have them. 51) What time did you wake up today? 6:31 a.m. 52) Current worry? Money. Do I have enough to do all the things I want to do? The constant worry: What am I going to do with myself? 53) Current hate? Scenesters. The constant hate: Liars, drama queens, and homophobes. 54) Favorite place to be? Comic-Con. I thought this question has been implied already. 55) Where would you like to travel? Asia, specifically Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Burma, and Cambodia. I wouldn't mind seeing China and Japan, though. 56) Where do you think you'll be in 10 yrs? Now that's a mystery. I honestly didn't see myself here, but whatdoyaknow? 57) last thing you ate? The other half of that hamburger from last night. 58) What songs do you sing in the shower? I don't sing in the shower, but if I do it's usually whatever was stuck in my head at the time. Often a fair song. 59) Last person that made you laugh? Ted Raimi, on TV. 60) Worst injury you've ever had? Split open my right index finger. 61) Does someone have a crush on you? If anyone does I'm the last to know it, and I normally find out when I'm in a relationship with someone else. 62) What is your favorite candy? 100 Grand, but anything mint chocolate is good. 63) What song do you want played at your funeral? "What's Left of the Flag" by Flogging Molly, followed by "Isn't it Grand, Boys (to be Bloody Well Dead)" by Poxy Boggards, followed by "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC

Spoiler:
I thought Bobby and Rogue break up in this. There's been a lot of hinting of Bobby going to Kitty in past trailers. I've heard several people claiming that Rogue and Logan get together in X3. Anyone hear anything about that?

*The curtain moves and jerks about as though someone behind them is running into them repeatedly and trying to find the opening. Eventually a pair of hands appear from beneath the curtains, fingers curling over the hem as Rogue lifts the drapery over her head and sashays into Mistress Sajin's studio, grinning foolishly to herself.*
|
"That's 'faire folk,' Sweetie." *Gives Sajin a friendly peck on the cheek as she "gracefully" sits in the easychair provided for her. Rogue attempts to cross her legs in a lady-like fashion, remembers she is no lady and just sits, leaning on the chair's arm nearest Sajin and laughs at her own Harlequin behavior.* "Good to be here, Saj." "Well let me think... I met Xeo over on this other board, Vizzed in Fall of 2003. Occasionally I'd make a remark about someone else's posting and Xeo, then MasterSephiroth, would remark that I was adept at moderating. Eventually, through my at the time boyfriend, I started posting on Masters of Darkness in January of 2004 and never looked back on Vizzed. Xeo offered me a local mod position not long after. I just sort of climbed through the ranks, and Xeo and I have become pretty good friends. XGF is really like no other board I've ever been on. Everyone's grown so close to each other that we all share each other's joy and pain and most of us have never even heard each other's voices. It's astounding, really. The posters here never fail to amaze me with how much they share concern for one another. Xeo should be proud of this little world that he lords over."

*Rogue doesn't even blink when Sajin discovers he has a little friend under his skirt*
|
"Heh, it's good to play God every now and then." *Tucks Xeo's magic wand back into her sleeve* "Anyway, to answer your question, I'm a terrible head honcho. I can be the second in command, but I tend to be disastrous as the guy at the top. It's weird. I'll have a zillion and nine ideas as to how to improve things and can work with the little guy, but for some reason when I'm given all the responsibility, everything (or at least just I do) falls apart. This has been proven whenever I've been editor-in-chief at a publication. I just can't enforce things on people. I can be the good cop, but rarely the bad ... hence why Kaijin and I work in pairs often enough. Though it would be amusing for about 5 minutes to be a board owner, it's just not going to happen. As for changes to the board..." *Taps her right temple.* "There isn't really anything I can think of to change at the moment."

"Actually it's 'Hedwig,' like 'head-wig.' I became interested in that fandom when the film based on the live stage performance came out. I'd not previously seen the theatrical version, as it was a New York-based production, but with the release of the film, the company started touring.
|
I saw the film when it first came out in theaters and fell in love with it instantly. It's the story of a transgendered glam rocker, whose sex change operation was botched, had her songs stolen by her partner who left her, and just can't seem to catch a break in a brutal media-driven world. It's hard to say what about it appeals to me more, but I can easily say, the songs are among the most lovable aspects. I adore it." *Rogue adjusts in her seat* "Sound & Fury is a three-man acting troupe, who usually perform at the Renaissance faires. WhiteRose is truly the source of the beginning of this obsession, but I built on it on my own. She was the one who introduced seeing them at the faires, and I, in turn, took to them like white on rice. They usually perform their own incarnations of Shakespeare plays run amuck. They're so funny. ![]() This is them after their preview night performance of 'Sherlock Holmes and the Saline Solution.' It's gotten to the point that I've seen them so often that they recognize me and approach me for hugs after every performance. The one who approaches me the most for conversation and fan service is Shelby Bond. Pictured Below. ![]() So many people love him." *Rogue smirks and giggles a bit.* "As a fan, I go by the title of 'Fury,' as that is what they have decided to call their fanbase." (restricted) | |
