*Elara blinked, but was unable to say anything before Artemis shut her door. It seemed that many people in this group were plagued by their past. Shrugging her shoulders she opened the door to her room and went inside. The room was small but comfortable, with a soft bed waiting for her. The Elf removed her cloak and armor, setting them on the chair by the bed along with her pack. She hung her swordbelts on the chair's back and set her bow and quiver against the wall. Removing her deerskin boots, she set the dagger that she kept concealed there on the nightstand and then climbed into bed, sure that Shadow would be far more content sleeping in the common room by the fire. She yawned slightly and turned over to look out the window at the faerie fire-lit city* "I don't understand people." *She fell asleep* **Shadow padded over to the fireside and curled up like an oversize housecat, her yellow eyes watching Cryus and the other people that she was traveling with** |

| I just scroll past layouts like that rather fast or read them when I go to reply... I've had to be tricky when reading any of Rogue's posts when mom is around... since she'd go off the deep end if she thought I was looking at "porn"

Simple really, it was about two years ago if I remember correctly. I had been a member of the Vizzedboard for a few months when it went down near Christmas. But while I was there I had met MasterSephiroth, and around that time I was talking to him on AIM trying to figure out what happened to the board, since he was an admin there at the time. He gave me the link to his board at that time, back when it was Masters of Darkness. I joined, but wasn't really active until a month or so later. I found the community thriving nicely, and the atmosphere much more welcoming than the stagnant board of my past, so I made my permantent move here. Since then, I've climbed the ranks to the position that I am in today and I've loved ever minute of it. |

| *Cryus made his way to the bedroom that he was to inhabit for the night. Entering the room he felt something large and furry move past him. He glanced down to see Shadow staring up at him, her eyes gleaming in the dim light from the hall*
"So you chose to follow me up instead of sleeping below, huh? Oh well... I suppose you could serve a purpose for me anyways." *The jaguar looked at him curiously as he moved to the small desk in the corner of the room, lighting a lamp before taking a seat. He pulled out a quill, some ink, and a sheet of parchment from his bag and began to write* Dear Elara, I know that you said it did not matter anymore, but I felt that I at least owed you an explaination as to why the events of last night happened. The two ladies that you found me with were Succubi, and they had information on Artemis that I wanted. However, in exchange for this information, they expected me to help them... well... feed. The information that I found out was interesting really... *The letter went on for awhile, detailing all the information that he had found out. In the end he again asked for forgiveness. When he was done he sprinkled a bit of sand on the ink to dry it, then rolled up the parchment and kneeled down in front of Shadow* "Okay, I need you to do me a favor. I'm going to tie this with a cord around your neck, and then take you to Elara's room. You make sure she gets it, alright?" *Shadow nudged his hand as a sign of acceptance, so Cryus took a leather cord, tied it around the cat's neck, and slipped the parchment between the fur and the cord. Asking an attendant that passed by where Elara's room was, he and Shadow made their way there silently. He knocked on the door sharply* "Elara, you have someone out here seeking entry. Seems the common room doesn't suit her." *Elara opened her eyes at the sound of the knocking and padded silently to the door, cracking it open to see Cryus standing there with Shadow* "Oh... thanks. Sorry if she bugged you." *Cryus just smiled and bid her goodnight as she opened the door to let the cat inside, saying it was no problem at all, then turning back towards his own chambers to sleep. The jaguar slipped into the room and jumped onto the bed. Elara shut the door and locked it again, heading to the bed and glaring at the cat* "Oh no you don't! You sleep on the floor like always... what's that on your neck?" "A message for you." Shadow replied in a sleepy manner. *Elara untied the cord from Shadow's neck and opened the note to read it as she sat on the bed. After a few moments she looked at the cat* "Well, that answers a few questions at least. I still think it's a degrading way to act though." "I have no idea what you are talking about, crazy Elf." "Good point... and you most likely never will," Elara said with a grin. "Goodnight Shadow." "Wait... what do you mean by that?" *Elara had already gone back into her Trance though, so Shadow got no answer. She growled slightly and went to sleep herself, determined to get answers tomorrow* |

| I shave, it's just easier all around hygenically that way.
But yeah, it's something that you have to be very careful with for both genders, though it is more treacherous for guys I suppose. It's harder for girls though, due to the design of the region. |
