"I'm not drunk; I'm alcoholically challenged!"

When speeding, the good thing to say:
Cop: "Awright, where's the fire?"
Woman: "In the flashing brilliance of your gorgeous eyes, officer!"

The BAD thing to say:
Cop: "Awright, where's the fire?"
Man: "In the flashing brilliance of your gorgeous eyes, officer!"

Bit of advice; never say anyone sucks at something unless you're better at doing it yourself. Example: I can't stand Eminem; I don't think he sucks, however, because he's sold over 30 million albums, and I can't rap like that. He's got talent, I'll give him that, but I just can't appreciate music the degrades women and talks about drugs and sex constantly. I prefer the more quiet, mellow, ambient music that can melt your troubles away. It's needed in this hustle-bustle world we live in. The stressful music, like System of a Down and Atreyu, as talented as they are (and yes, sometimes I do listen to them), just makes me too tense, and that's the last thing I need. Who can say an artist isn't talented when he/she's sold more than 40 million albums in he US alone? So please try to respect other people's music as I respect yours, ok?

The console blipped; it was a life form, possibly a vampire.
"Heads up, fellas; we've got a runner. Doing a scan now...
Got him. He's the last room down the hall in the front. I can see him with the sonar; holy shit! Neural patterns are of the charts! It rivals that of Lucius Griswald, the psychopathic murderer who killed his own family 'for self defense'. What do we do, guys?"
Something's wrong; where's the leader of these vampires?

"Francine, we're not here to make enemies," Kevin said smoothly. "But, shit; if I wasn't under orders, I'd blow the whole house back to hell. Relax; take things in strides." He turned t Keira; "Keira! Want me to move in? I have a lock on his position. He's moved to the second level; grid x32, y21, z18."

Well, it was a period of civil war. Rebel starships, striking from a hidden base have won their first victory over the evil Galactic Empire.

"10 steps ahead of you, ma'am!"
The repulsor jets on the mech activated, as he flew through the hall. He could easily see Francine's transformed shape ahead of him and blew past her. His lumber mech came to a full stop ahead of her, blocking the hall completely. He outstretched his arms to make sure she wouldn't try anything.
"Francine! Calm down, dammit, or you'll get us all killed! You that on your back? Huh? Kill Chaos, and it's all over. Do not even think about trying anything, as I will stop you. I'm your friend; we've been through a lot, but I will not hesitate to stop you with force, if need be."
*I'm now more worried about her trying something stupid than the vamps... Jeez... This'll never end at this rate* he thought to himself. He narrowed his eyes at the werewolf

"Wait... Something's wrong! Adeya has completely disappeered off the scanner; it's like he completely vanished! Shit; great, this is just what we need. They're going hostile! What do we do now? *What the hell do we do now!?*"

"Keira, that door's shut awfully tight; It'll take more that a little magic to break it down; allow me. Stand back!"
The mech took a step back and then kicked the door. The foot stayed on the the door for half a second, then a piston in the knee added more power behind the bash. The door splintered and cracked. Another piston smash, and the door broke down.
"I'm going in; I have the most defense, so I have a greater chance of retrieving him. Lightin' up..."
Two headlights on the chest of the mech light up to see through the murky blackness as Kevin plunged into the darkness to save his comrade.
"GERONIMOOOOoooooo......"
OOC: Besides; Cairoi doesn't seem to be too reliable lately...

"Adeya? Is that you? Thank God; Come on back. Do not intercept the enemy. If you do see him, corner him and find out why he's doing this. Come on, let's get out of here. I busted the door down, so we should get back relatively.... eas..il...y? What the hell?" As Kevin looked back to where the door was supposed to be, there was no light eminating from where the door should have been. "Not fair!" Kevin fired one of his dumb missiles at the "door", but it just kept going and going. "We're trapped..."
All hope seemed lost...
"Wait a second; the only solid surface appears to be the floor; you know that means, Adeya? Start busting up the floor! We'll dig our way out of here!" Kevin redied his rifle, and started blasting the ground..."

"WOAHHOLY CRAP!"
He was falling, but could plainly see Adeya. "Hold on; I gotcha!" The arm on the mech extended as it grabbed Adeya from falling. The suit's Repular jets activated, and the two stalwart heroes slowly levitated back towards the surface. "It's like the floor's a kind of liquid..." Still hovering, Kevin causght a glimps of the psychotic vampire. "YOUUU! I've HAD it with you!" He turned on the high beams and shone them towards the vampire, while in mid-air.

So you would say, "Even though I can't (for example) draw for shit and have no concept of art, that drawing sucks, even though I can't do better myself". I can see absolutely no logic in that, besides the fact that it's a blatent contradiction. I'm not saying everyone has to be fair; I'm just saying to learn to respect people as they respect you. No one is forcing you to give your opinion. If you don't have something positive, or at least constructive to say, don't say it. It makes you look like a real jerk and puts that person down.

First, you contradicted yourself. Secondly, you're stating that's ok to disrespect people just because they can do something better than you that you don't particularly like. Your point is asinine; it has no logic at all. You're saying that no one respects anyone. If no one respects anyone, then no on ewould have friends. Apparently, you must not have any friends if that's how you feel; what a very sad life. I will show you an excerpt from my bio that will make your lack-of-respect point null and void, and if I suck for posting it, then so be it.

"given our biological inheritance i think that we need to be more tolerant of ourselves and more tolerant and compassionate in our dealings with others. the standards that we have for human behaviour are at times noble, but at times quite absurd. we're genetically designed to be lustful, aggressive, gregarious, productive creatures, and it can be a good thing to hold ourselves to high community standards of behaviour, but we need to deal with ourselves as who and what we are, not just what we think we're supposed to be. the last thing in the world that we need to do is judge and condemn each other. i can understand locking someone up if they're violent, but i can't understand judging that person without compassion and tolerance. if you have a five year old child that likes to kick cats you don't abuse him and lock him in the basement and tell him what a horrible person he is. obviously you talk to the child and try to get him to figure out why kicking cats is not such a great thing to do. and you recognise that he's kicking cats not because he hates cats, but because he's expressing something that he feels and can't otherwise express. abuse begets abuse, compassion begets compassion. i'm not advocating a soft approach to criminal, violent, or anti-social behaviour, rather i'm advocating an enlightened and realistic approach to our human-ness. locking a criminal up in a horrible place and making them feel like shit is neither a compassionate nor a culturally expedient way to deal with the situation. it's also not taking into account the fact that we're all essentially guilty of the same things. if i had been brought up in a different environment that was abusive and only reinforced violence and aggression i'm sure that i would have turned out differently. so how can i condemn someone and judge someone who was raised differently from me? i can, with justification, prevent someone from hurting someone else, but i can't comprehensively condemn them for it. we're all saddled with a violent biological and cultural legacy, it's just that some of us have the skills and upbringing to deal with it..."
Right now, you kinda remind me of the Christian Right, with your right-winged way of thinking, and believing that others should be shown disrespect at the slightest indescretion to your ill will. I leave you with that.

"Thanks... Look; I have a feeling that this place can almost smell our fear; the more stress we've been, the blacker and more imposing this place becomes. Drop your feelings, and let go. Be at peace, and not be afraid, and let him know it!"
With that, Kevin shouted into the void: "I am not afraid of you, Chaos! We are not afraid! Not anymore! We are brave, and we will fight on!"

Ignoring Adeya's scoffing, Kevin continued to bellw his heroism; "Show yourself, you smarmy sunofabitch! I'm not afraid to face you! Come on! I'm ready to face you, and I ain't gonna run away; no chance!"
The room seemed to give an echo that time; perhaps the walls were beginning to form from Kevin's words of stalwart bravery?

"Fsshhh...kshh... Mission...shh.. failure... ksshhhh-tsshh... Just...shh... out of there! Retreat."
"Keira? Dammit to hell... no pun intended... I can hear the echos against the walls... the fear is waning. Time to blow us outta here!" Kevin fired a missle which hit a wall about 100 feet away. Light shone through! Glorious light! "C'mon, magic boy; we're leaving; now!" Kevin hoisted Adeya up onto his shoulder and over his back, much to his chagrin. The repulsar jets burst forth and they zoomed towards the light and out of the hall.
"Keira? We're out. We're in a hall; possibly the same one. We moving in on your position now." The jets never stopped; he just blasted through the house and out the door, with Adeya over his shoulder. "Hope your happy, kid; if you hadn't chased that damn vamp, we wouldn't be in this mess! Shit! This just might compromise the 369's entire credibility." He ploped Adeya on the ground and stomped off. "Ma'am? What now? Want me to just sent that house back to hell where it belongs?"

(Well... whatever. Look, this part has to end SOMEday so we can take the fight to the government. And why should it be impossible? You clearly stated that the room feeds off fear; cut off its 'food' and the zone is vanqueshed, is it not?

Kaijin: For the sake of not taking on more post counts... The room may take on fear, but it dosn't lose power from powerless things. Once Xeios gets his ass on here again, the story can continue.)

Keira said this mission was over; why is he still trying to salvage this debacle of a job?
