Man, you guys have it badly.
As far as I know, most of my family is strictly Christian. Not sure about my dads side of the family though, not sure if they're anything for the matter. |

Power Metal basically IS Thrash, only maybe with a side of faster drumming, and cheesy lyrics / melodies and symphonies. At least how I look at it. (Last edited by Xeolord on 07-29-05 03:35 AM) |

Nah, I mean I've uploaded songs myself.
But man, I just googled "metal definitions" and got this. Now no offense, but that's just stupid. (the page, sure there's different kinds of metal styles out there, but THAT is just dragging it out) Found this info at wikipedia though, honestly a lot of that sounds pretty true. I just still don't see how people call Iron Maiden Power Metal, they're heavy and "kind of" fast, but for Power Metal? ... I guess I can see how they kind of started the movement, but yeah. Very true that Power Metal seems to be refered to as a European style, that I can highly agree with that. (Last edited by Xeolord on 07-29-05 03:46 AM) |

Her hands look really messed up in that picture, but this is pretty cool (after watching the video).
... Never expect to see this in the US! I see the War of the Machines coming. |

In my opinion, I'd totally go for that (assuming I had enough money).
Those are some very good games in there. |

Updated the list.
Some of them I didn't add, because I think it would be best to stick with games that have had more than a few games in the series, or have been really popular. And, I think Action and Sidescrollers can be very different: Action: Action is more like games like Blaster Master, Metroid, and Castlevania. You mainly fight, but there are a lot of powerups you pick up on your way throughout the game that usually last until the game ends, and these games can sometimes have puzzles, and can be quite long. Sidescrolling: Sidescrolling is more of just a simple game, something you can just turn on and get into more quickly. So, take Contra for a good example. Just quick paced games. Whoa, that's pretty awesome.
... minus the part of seeing how crappy our old main page was. Well that's all for now, in the meantime look out for Xeogaming; coming to your computer soon. Can't believe I wrote that. |

Then we have the Game Creation forum, at 107 posts.
Meh, all boards have a few slow forums here and there I'm sure. |

DarkSlaya, is there a way to search my folders (FTP) to check for all the robots.txt?
I don't know why it's bringing up this error, either I'm missing some or the site (archive.org) is a little messed up. Weird the other link doesn't work now ... this one? Well if not, just search for http://evogaming.netho.tk/board/ at the site, and you should get the old board. Heh, we're about to pass MoD in posts. (Last edited by Xeolord on 07-29-05 03:53 PM) |

Originally posted by Strange Deja Vu So, I should put it back up? Does it save all the pages? I'm just curious to look at the memberlist. Spyware: Yeah, seems to do that to me also. Edit: That banner was too good. We should bug Seto to make a new similar one. (Last edited by Xeolord on 07-29-05 03:57 PM) |

I like my old descriptions, they're so simple compared to the new ones.
It's funny seeing this, seeing all the old moderators, and everything. The good ol' days. Edit: Classic Gaming From the very first system Odyssey to the beginning of fame Nintendo to the reign of Big N's terror Playstation. Gaming at it's classical moments. Damn that makes no sense! I think I still had the description like that on that one, I remember Tamarin pointing something out like that in the past. Edit again: Final Fantasy The series responisble for creating the hype in RPG's, and the active time battle system. Face it, Final Fantasy will never end! Gil: 134,379 WTF? Judging by your current situations, I'd say this is a hard choice ...
|
It's obvious you seem to like working with Activision more, and so there goes my "I'd say do what you enjoy doing the most" idea. Then, you've got dispatching for pulling in a lot more money. I don't know, I mean I've heard a lot of stories that basically anyone in the working videogame industry starts off as a videogame tester. So this means in time, I'd be more than willing to bet you'd move up to new positions, and so on. But, again, that probably needs time, and time doesn't seem to be your greatest friend right now. So there's dispatching, which, obviously you'd be pulling in a lot more money, and you'd be a lot more financially set for school. I don't know what to say, if you think you can suffer financially for awhile but still make it and have fun, go with videogame testing. If not, and you need the money, even though you'd be doing something that doesn't sound so fun, go with dispatching. I'd say just put a lot of thought into this, sounds like something that could really effect your future. |
