Originally posted by Sparda Funny thing about that, when I was looking up possible ways to beat her, most of the websites I'd been to said, "Mega-Death will always miss." No such luck for me, there was always at least one character it killed. Anyway, I finally beat her. Thanks. Saved up everyone's Overdrives for the final form. So there's no way to treat Confuse? Yuna's (and Rikku's and Tidus' since I taught them it as well) Esuna doesn't seem to remedy it. |

The joke isn't meant to make sense or even be funny for that matter. The point of the "Aristocrats" is to express how much a person can be creative and push the envelope with a joke where the middle is completely left open for you to work with. The more outright offensive the acts, the better.
|
It's a joke passed between comedians all around the world to test one's impovisational skills. I suppose the meaning is lost on many, though. Not a bad take on it, venomnous. (restricted) |

Interview with the Vampire (though Queen of the Damned was SUPPOSED to be a sequel of sorts. I'd rather see a higher caliber one with the now-down and dirty Pitt and whack job Cruise)
|
I can't really think of anything else at the moment that I think could have had a great sequel, but I'll see if I can think of more.

In all seriousness, The Matrix. The first movie was a modern masterpiece, and then it was devised to make sequels to it that 1) created more questions than answers, 2) were injected with 6 times the amount of action and such from the first one because "If it worked so well in the first one, let's dump a whole lot more of it in the second and third," (TOO much too much bullet-time in Reloaded) and 3) didn't resolve anything.

Other movies that would have been better without sequels: all of the Disney animated feature films. Why Disney got it in their heads to make sequels to all of their films and not even exercise half of the quality control as their television series is just beyond me. Top these off with the Land Before Time movies. Slowly, but surely Little Foot is working his way toward the extinction of the dinosaurs, and believe you me, everyone's going to be happy as pigs in shit when it happens.

"Porch Monkey 4 Life," baby.

I loved it. Saw it while I was out of town, at Comic-Con. Man, it was great. Most of the audience was wearing the Mooby's shirts. Is it just me or was Brian O'Halloran a lot better looking in this one? Incidentally, Kite, when I went to a Kevin Smith Q&A at Wizard World earlier this year, Kevin showed that clip you mentioned and everyone was on the floor, laughing so hard. I liked how there were several nostalgic moments in it. Spoiler:
Like when the milk maid makes an appearance at the end. I'm gonna see it again, most definitely.

Oh hey, I posted this a while back.
|
Heh, random. Either way, it's still really funny to watch.

I just have the default. I like seeing the board as it was intended to be and all of the changes that are supposed to go along with it. |

Thanks, I tried the hitting them and found that it works.

Right now, I'm going to the secret locations and collecting the things in the chests, but I've been having trouble with the Omega Ruins and Baaj Temple. Anyone know how to make characters able to open the chests that say, "It won't open." I assume those are the legendary items, but I've come across two chests like that already.

Currently have mine disabled.

If I had the talent, which I don't, I would make a Marvel superheroes rankset.

I don't know when or how this Nazi thing started (especially since I've been out of town for the past week), but if you would like to talk with me about it, you know my AIM handle or you can PM me, Uzu.

In the meantime, since this thread has already fulfilled its purpose and the latest entry was simply spam, this thread can be closed.

Truly, I'm surprised you hadn't deleted it sooner. I've jested many times about the lack of intelligent or creative speak in that forum and the high amount of spamming.
|
Perhaps this should be a global announcement?

Heh, I've heard that version a few times, some of them include a fetus sucking on the father's penis while he's fucking the mother.
|
Anyway, for people who either need another version or some sort of justification for this: As I'd mentioned before, the more creatively offensive, the better. People just aren't shocked any more.

Heh, I remember Skold's board (may it rest in peace) used to have ranks like "Severed phallus" (took one forever to move out of that rank) among other randomly gruesome things. |

Like FX said, this was in my profile, so here's a copy and paste job.
|
I tend to make these when I'm bored. Aside from the South Park one, this is the closest to me I've seen in a while. These things RARELY look like me since they never have body types that even closely resemble mine (or clothing style for that matter). So what's wrong with this? As mentioned in my profile it needs about 800 pounds of choclate pudding injected into its butt. Honestly, I'm almost always wearing sandals, but those are rarely in these things either. So why a movie theater for a background? Why not? I go to movies a lot, specially independent films at art house theaters. There are other backgrounds that fit me as well, but I figured this one hit closer to home.

Yeah, I forgot to post about seeing it as well. Saw it a couple weeks ago, the day it finally opened in theaters closer to me than 30 miles away.
|
I thought it was great. So many pieces of it came together and made this masterpiece of a poignant film. The people behind me, in the theater, wouldn't shut up and at the end exclaimed over and over that there was no story and it didn't make any sense. Fools. These were the same people who throughout the trailers didn't seem to grasp what those movies were about saying things like, "Marie Antonionettina? What the hell?" or thought "Hollywoodland" was a silly made-up name. Well enough complaining about idiots. I thought A Scanner Darkly was fantastic. I'm sure Philip K. Dick would approve if he could. Incidentally, I'm currently reading his book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? which was later made into Blade Runner. I've been needing to, and of course wanting to, read Battle Royale, especially since I have both movies and the whole manga series. |
