This is that new Ben Stiler movie that's in theaters. It also has Robin Williams and Owen Wilson. I just saw it tonight with two of my friends and I must say...it was pretty good. I wasn't set on seeing this in theaters anyways, like Rogue says sometimes, I was willing to wait and see the DVD. But, I got suckered into it tonight. Though my friend Vince paid, so it wasn't like I paid to see something I didn't think I'd enjoy. XD
The movie was really cute though. Robin Williams' character was by far my favorite, but Owen was adorable too and Stiler wasn't that bad. This is that movie where Stiler plays a man named Larry who is the nightwatchman at this museum and everything comes to life every night... So...anyone else have any opinions? I actually recommend giving this movie a chance, be it in theaters or DVD. |

WhiteRose Warrior Sailor Delerium Have you ever spent days and days and days making up flavors of ice cream that no ones ever eaten before? I agree with you Katana, nice movie, very cute, but honestly, I would wait till it's out on for rental. The acting was good, the story line could use some work, but it's not a waste of time.

*Side Note*
Wasnt this movie like from the same producer who made Jumanji? (Or am I thinking of that Galactica movie?) Personally, I wanted to see this movie, but I was never actually motivated into seeing it. Heard on some reviews on the Orlando Sentinal that mostly the parts of the movies were clever, yet old jokes...Or something like that. |

Upon seeing the posters for this I was really excited about it and wanted to see it because museums are my heroin. Seriously, not just addicted; they're the kind of drug that you have to keep doing to keep from getting sick.
Anyway, I'm excited and all and then I discover that the leading man is Ben Stiller. My interest was doused. Royally. I don't know what it is about Ben Stiller, but it's the same things with Liv Tyler. I simply can't take them for very long and they tend to kill scenes (and sometimes whole movies) for me. When I saw him guesting on "Extras," even though it was an act, it still hooked the exact way I see him: Anyway, to quote myself ( ), I think I'll have to wait for DVD. Granted, I'm quite sure I'll be able to look past the surface value and love it. Heh, I'm so lame. |

**blinks**
Well...Ben Stiller isn't like that in this movie. :p If you do get the chance to see it eventually, Rogue, you might be alright with him. Ben never bothered me too much, but he was never one of my favorites either...but the other characters in this movie are what make it. Then again, anyone could've been in Stiller's place and I'd prolly still say the same thing. Robin Williams...**steals Colossus' phrase** FTW!! XD And I'm actually not sure who produced this movie. I wasn't all that thrilled about the movie and didn't look into it too much to begin with. It was kinda random that I went. And yah, story line could've...I definitely think it could've had more to it. The movie actually felt like it went by kinda quickly. Mickey Rooney was the best in this movie though. XD |

All in all i liked the movie quite a bit, better then what i thought it was going to be. And quite a few funny moments.. all though the old men pissed me off... and i went with a couple of friends and they dubbed me and my buddy logan as octavius and billy the kid (i think thats who owen willson was playing). so it was quite funny

Originally posted by MisturMoogle I don't think he was Billy...damn...I forget now. But they were cool characters. Close seconds, next to Teddy Roosevelt. Though if you see the movie, you can't like Octavious without liking "Billy" and vice versa...'least I think so. XD |
