It seems no matter where I go, nobody but me likes Sinergy.... Well, the lead singer Kimberly Goss at least. How bout anybody here?

I think that she has incredible pipes reminiscent of the old 80's hair bands but all I ever hear is either flamming or something about Alexi Laiho > God (Not that I disagree >.> ).

not sure if this was mentioned already
don't care to look above

Firewind

awesome band. opened for several of Dragonforce's shows. Their guitarist, Gus G., has his own line of guitars under ESP. Listened to a few of their songs; they were quite good. If you want to give the band a shot, listen to THe Fire and the Fury. Amazing instrumental. One of the best solos ever in the latter half of the song.

*cries*

I hate Gus. G, but that's probably because I hated his previous band Dream Evil.

I've heard of Firewind. From the little I'm reading over some reviews they don't sound too bad.

eMule time.

Thought I'd post another song for the heck of it.

Savage Grace - We Came, We Saw, We Conquered

Awesome late 80's speed/power. Good stuff. So, listen to it!

Nagis, you'd probably dig these guys.

Greece band that's Power/Folk like. Tougher vocals (like Grave Digger). Really awesome.
Samples here.

Marching to Glory is a great song!

There's about 50 new bands I've heard this week, I might post more later.

Wolf from Sweden. Awesome traditional / power stuff.

Tarot, epic heavy metal. Pretty awesome.

Tons more but I'm tired.

That's awesome. I still don't know how you've managed with Dial up for so long ...

By the way
Spoiler:
eMule seriously has everything, no kidding. Might take a whole day to get albums from time to time, but I download like 10-20 at once and its awesome. I've gotten gigs and gigs of metal off eMule lately. =D

Edit- Holy crap the wording on this post is bad...Ill fix everything I can.

I used to spend hours Downloading metal (Because of Dial up ) from my friend called "Road|| DoGg". I met him off of some Tribes 2 game and weve been best friends since...We would always exchange metal and stuff and introduced me to alot of the Metal I introduced to here on Xeogaming.

And Dream Evil is ok...Im not too big on them.

Anyone know of Rhapsody? Xeo knows I believe, they are pretty much half of Luca Turilli. Another awesome band.

I've kind of strayed away from stuff like Rhapsody, going towards the more aggressive stuff.

Regardless, I will still call Luca Turilli's Prophet of the Last Eclipse "Matrix Metal".

One symphonic band I've heard lately is Moonlight Agony. Again, not always my thing these days, but when I'm in the mood for this stuff its pretty awesome. They're pretty similar to Dragonland, and somewhat Rhapsody (less opera-ish).

If you like them, these bands are absolutely essential, some even better (Exodus's best album was definitenly their debut in my opinion). If you really like Thrash.

Laaz Rockit (in the vein of Exodus, all their albums from Know Your Enemy and up. I've uploaded some songs from them in this thread. here and here )
Heathen (entire works can be downloaded off their site)
Overkill
Realm (more in your face like Laaz and Exodus)
Artillery (catchy as holy crap. here)
Vio-Lence
Forbidden
Nuclear Assault
Hirax (decent but broken and chunky thrash, very short songs too)
Coroner (often compared to Kreator)

Mr. Club: Savage Circus is awesome. I've been meaning to get their album since forever.

I know people get annoyed when so many bands and names are thrown at them, but oh well. Really, check some of those bands out Sparda.

Fucking insane guitarist Toby Knapp.

Listen to "Wizard Archer". And the previous speed / power metal band he worked with, Onward, is absolutely amazing.

Megaupload links for all of Mortiis's works from Era One of his music.
Its basically neo-classical dungeon music, but it's classified as metal.
Besides; Mortiis played as Emperor's bassist for a while. That's gotta count for something.
Myself? I'm fucking hooked on his music.
