I got bothered to do stuff about it this time... Well, this time I'll make sure I've got people's interest before waiting ages, getting bored of waiting and deleting files, THEN have people join.
I tweaked the storyline a little bit, I actually explained the three forces you can be, and it's just that little bit more ass-kickingly better! Friday 24th May, 4315 (Quoted from 'C2 News at 9') "Disaster struck today when a factory handling chemical mutagens exploded. The gases escaped through the first two safety barriers but the third safety zone managed to contain it. Liquids leaked in to the soil but underground technicals helped prevent it seeping further. Med-vans and coptors are already at work to clean the mess, but none of them so far have any information regarding the workers at the plant." Sunday 26th May, 4315 (Quoted from 'C2 News at 6') "In a followup from a story two days ago, survivors were found at the mutagen plant. There have been no obvious injuries as of yet, but only 10 of the 300 workers have been found. Having gone through a compulsory screening, it has been found that the survivor's, three men and seven women, have their DNA rapidly changing, and due to the Mutagen Accident Laws of 3798 they have been given the option to keep their DNA the same or have it 'healed'. All ten of them, enjoying the new abilities the mutagens gave them, declined the healing." Sunday 3rd June, 4315 (Quoted from videophone footage sent in from one of the mutagen cleaners) *While running* "Alert the Space Marines! The I.G.P.D! ANYONE! Every worker is accounted for, but their minds are deteriorating! Quaranteen the area! Isolate the ten original survivors! They are no longer human! They're alrea- No! NOOOO-EERRRKKKK!" Now: Monday 12th May, 4316 The area of land known widely as Jaeroe, quite far in the middle of a forest, has been contaminated with mutagens. These rapidly changed the genetic structure of the workers at the plant containing the mutagens and within a week these mutants lost control of their mind. They have been causing havoc such as sending in small attacks on small villages that surrounded the area, but luckily outside the range of the mutagens. Thanks to safety barriers the contamination was contained, although the mutants still claim over 25 square miles of land. At first glance the creatures seem incapable of 'intelligent' thought, but they have been building and developing technology over the year, also stealing technological information from the villages they attacked. This will be the largest attack planned for them yet. Small groups of 50, numbered from teams Alpha 1 to Gamma 9, meaning 1350 recruits are being sent in. The Space Marines aquired help from a hefty amount of Mercinaries and some forces of the I.G.P.D. so the small army has a wide range of skills. The I.G.P.D: The Inter-Galactic Police Department are an immense group of different races and species which allied to form a special group. They helped create the Laws of the Universe 3030, which basically mixed laws from lots of different planets and applied them to anywhere in the universe. The I.G.P.D. consist of three main types of unit: Light (Low armour but very fast and agile), Medium (Stronger armour, average movement and speed) and Heavy (Almost impenetrable armour but has very limited movement and completely obliterates the ability to run). You can also be pretty much any alien race you can make up if you choose to be from this team. No making up aliens that get around the speed limitations of the heavy armour though. Weaponary: Pistol, laser pistol, plasma automatic, 10 plasma grenades, 10 frag grenades, 5 stun grenades. The weapons get more powerful depending on how heavy your armour is. The Space Marines: Similar to the I.G.P.D. in what they do, but it is an Earth team consisting only of human and Erumi (A Variation of humans created just before The Great Space War in 2012). Choosing a human gets your character a large selection of weaponary all built in to a I.G.P.D. equivalent medium armour. Erumi do not use weapons or armour due to their natural strength and energy abilities. (I'll link you to a profile of one of my Erumi sim battle characters to give you an idea of what they can do) Weaponary: Mini-mini-gun, Worlds Smallest Nuke, 4 frag grenades, 4 smoke grenades, laser sniper, laser finger, scanner, light energy shield. Mercinaries: Consists of only humans. They get very light armour and can only carry a few weapons, but they can carry large amounts of ammo, have excellent battle experience (They are all survivors from various wars and battles over the centuries) and get a much wider selection of weaponary (Pretty much make up guns if you want for these, but nothing uber-powerful). Weaponary: As I said, make them up. Name: If I have to explain this, you're not as bright as I thought. Age: Same as for name. Gender: And I've stopped "Yes please!" jokes! Team: I.G.P.D, Space Marines or Mercinaries Race: Needed if you are I.G.P.D, although I'll assume human if you leave this blank for Space Marines. Mercinaries do not need to fill this in, you are already human. Appearance: Just a general basic appearance. The style of uniform may be different to others if you are I.G.P.D. or Space Marines, and Mercinaries do not require uniform. History: Not really required if you don't want to, but it'd just be interesting to have a bit of background. And please, no "One/Both parents died" bullshit as a reason for helping this. No one hired is from the surrounding villages, so no ones parents could have been killed because of the mutants. Weaponary: Only Mercinaries answer this, unless you are using slightly modified weapons as the other teams (PM me about them so I can check if they're okay or not). Name: Alex Daniels Age: 27 Gender: Male Team: Space Marines Race: Human Appearance: Constantly wears the Space Marine full overall 'midnight blue' uniform (He has over 15 so he never runs out of clean ones though. ). He has short brown hair, is quite muscular, has blue/grey eyes and, after an unfortunate accident at his last attempt to fight the mutants, has a large scar running down the left side of his back. History: Alex has been on this same mission twice before, the first time being simply unsuccessful because of an underestimation of the enemy forces, while the second they lured him into a trap to test out new torture hardware, explaining the scar. Barely escaping alive partly due to a rescue team, he spent three weeks in the infirmary, mapping out in his head a way in he'd noticed. This second attempt was five weeks ago from where this RP is set. The route is still fresh in his mind, and he's ready for some mutant slashing, limb tearing actiononic uber-fun! |

Name: James Gearhart
Age: 37 Gender: Male Team: Mercenary Appearance: 5' 11", with short cropped wavy black hair, with a short beard/mustache covering the lower portion of his face., and crisp blue, constantly scanning for danger. James wears loose-safari like clothing that fit his fighting style. His right arm is entirely mechanical, given to him by the government agency that he used to work for. The hand resembles that of a Cylon from BSG. A pistol is stored in the underside of the forearm, and can be easily flipped out to the mechanical hand. The hand can also retract into the wrist to allow a small rifle to flip down from the upper arm. It doesn't need to be reloaded, but must be cocked after each shot (which is done automatically). He also carries a cutlass horizontal on his back, just above his waist. It can be easily reached by both hands. History: James Gearhart used to work for the government, as a freelance agent. He traveled around the world for them. On a mission when he was 26, he lost his right arm. They replaced it with a mechanical arm. He retired about 2 years ago, but has been reactivated for this mission. Weapons: His mechanical arm(s) and cutlass. Name: Takami Hiho Age: 24 Gender: Female Team: Mercenary Appearance: Takami is of japanese descent, and wears an all black leather outfit, with a matching jacket and combat boots. Her hair is short and black, with a few bangs hanging in her face. Weapons: Two desert eagles in twin shoulder holsters. Katana, named Otsuyan, sheathed vertically on her back. Tanto (short sword used mostly for blocks and parries) named Koshi horizontal above her hips. She has a sawed off 12 gauge shotgun holstered on the side of her leg. There is a metal case containing a sniper rifle that she usually straps onto the back of her motorcycle. It has loops so that she can wear it like a backpack. Age: 19 Gender: Male Team: Space Marines Race: Humans Appearance: wears the midnight blue full space uniform always. He short brown hair and medium built. History: Jobes is a fresh recruit straight out of boot. He left his town when he was the age of 14. He was arrested for stealing food to live on. During sentencing he was given the option to join the spacce marines or go to jail. He chose to join the space marines. I hope that your character first got given the option to go into the Space Marines at atleast the age of 18. that's the minimum age for people to join the Space Marines.
And secondly, you screwed up your Team and Race fields... You should've done: Team: Space Marines Race: Human/Erumi Your character also gets all those weapons, not just a small selection... |
