For all the fans of Heroes out there, in the fashion of I Harth Darth, an amateur cartoonist started their own pop culture web comic on LiveJournal.

The episodes so far (BE FOREWARNED, THESE MIGHT BE CONSIDERED SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE SHOW AND WANT TO BE SURPRISED) These are also as big as they get so if you have your resolution up, the script might be hard to read:

LOL, that is so cute and so wrong at the same time, especially that last one (wrong, not cute). All these the only ones up?

Yep.

Actually the last one about Matt in the parking garage was just put out today. The previous two were out a few months ago, but I guess the artist went on hiatus for a time.

This comic is actually gross. It's nothing to the original Heroes.

Yeah, it's just a parody. Obviously compared with Heroes, the show would knock it out of the park, but seeing as there aren't many Heroes-related comics out there (yet), just sharing this one for now.

The first strip was pretty funny, though the humor seemed to deteriorate from there. Well, either way, they're cute and I like the idea.

That last one was weird... but it does raise the question of about Sylar. How DOES he absorb the brains?

At the Heroes panel that I went to at the last Wizard World con, they still wouldn't reveal how. I guess it's supposed to be a mystery, despite most people already concluding that he simply eats them.

I had a theory that he cuts open his head and tinkers with the brain bits that he adds from other people (since he used to be a watch-fixer), but he doesn't have Claire's regenerative power, so that's out.

I had posted this in a few Heroes communities a couple months back, after last Wizard World. It's still pretty cool:

EDIT: While going through my Flickr account for pictures from Wizard World, I re-discovered this:

Tee hee hee.

As the title of this thread says there WILL BE SPOILERS.

You are warned.

So in comment on last night's ep:

I can't believe we still don't know how Sylar absorbs the powers.

BUT lots of other revelations were brought to light.
- A certain man in power is finally dead
- Hiro's hero's quest is reaching its pinnacle (Don't kill off Ando, PLEASE!!)
- Sounds like Candice has a Mystique issue in that she's making people see a much hotter person than she is (though Mystique/Raven Darkholm is pretty good-looking, she was saying that kids would make fun of her for her blue skin as a child).

In regards to the previews:
- So somehow Mohinder and Bennet solved their issues over Molly (i.e. the walking/talking Cerebro that doesn't have Professor Xavier strapped to her), obviously. They seriously should just take her, Mohinder and Bennet are practically on the same side and she doesn't need to die.
- Looks like Matt might be on his way out.

Lastly, a new development in the show's history... looks like there's a spin-off in the works (http://www.zap2it.com/tv/news/zap-nbcupfronts-heroesorigins,0,5536579.story): Heroes: Origins.
- I really don't know how I feel about this. Spin-offs tend to be a much lesser version of a bigger and better show, and this usually is a hint toward money-grubbing, rating-hungry CEOs who want to capitalize on something new and pure. Then again Xena was a spin-off of Hercules and it took the fandom to new heights. Well here's to being cautiously optimistic.

*SPOILERS*
(edited the thread title a bit)

I'm skeptical about the spin-off series. Did you see that whoever turns out to be the most popular character (internet polls and stuff probably), they'll end up being cast as a main character in the next season? Pretty neat.

Anyways, I was really hoping Ando would have some kind of power himself.

Who knows? There's one episode left. :p ...

There seemed to be a lot of deaths in the last episode, but at the same time it didn't really feel rushed or anything. That was amazing how Linderman was killed. The radioactive guy (see I can't even remember his name now), oh well, I don't think anyone really liked him that much.

His name was Ted (plays off the Unibomber's name: Ted Kaczynski). I liked him when he was first introduced, waned from him in the "Company Man" episode when he pretty much exposed Claire, and then sort of started to like him again (he can jumpstart a car with his hands!).

So... things that still need to be solved or explained:
- How the eclipse fits into all of this (seriously, it seems to be something the writers want to keep secret, they expressly wouldn't answer that among other things during the panel I went to)
- What exactly the helix means since it appears so often around the characters (although Ando did say it was a mixture of the kanji for "godsend" and "great talent").
- How Sylar absorbs powers.
- Does Mohinder have a power as well, or did the fact that his blood being the "healthy baby antibodies" prove that he doesn't?
- Does Mr. Nakamura (George Takai) have a power? He's associated with the company, it's possible.
- WHAT THE HELL IS BENNET'S FIRST NAME?!?!?!?! (Seriously, they showed a close up of his Texas ID. I happened to tape that episode and even when I went back to pause it, it just said "BENNET"!!!! GAH!!!!
- For that matter, what's the Haitian's name?
- Where's Claude? He did appear in Peter's prophetic exploding dream and he's still alive somewhere. Perhaps he'll show up in the last episode.

Anyway, one thing that sort of bothered me about this last week's episode was the opening scene where Peter is absorbing Ted's power and he's asking Claire to shoot him. It was the cliffhanger from last week, for crying out loud, and how did it work out? ---"Claire! Shoot Me!! No, no, wait ... I'm OK."

The Linderman head massage did make up for it, though.

Oh and I just remembered. At the panel, the writers and Tim Kring did mention that they were planning a graphic novel that would come out next year entitled "Saving Charlie," in which it recounts Hiro's failure to help Charlie before she would be killed by Sylar, but who was already going to die from a blood clot in her brain.

That does remind me. Since Sylar has that power, is he a super genius now? He has so many powers that they tend to neglect showing a few for a while. Which reminds me, supposedly Eden killed herself (ruining her brain) before Sylar could kill her her, yet in some episodes he seems to be speaking with Eden's commanding voice. Am I missing something?

It was pretty good. Lots of answers, a nice conclusion, etc.

I think a lot of my friends and I were expecting it to be a little more epic so to say (come on, there wasn't much of a fight between Peter and Sylar), but then again they left room for even more development there.

Absolutely can't wait for more, and I'm ultra hyped about the DVD. From what one of my friends has told me, you can watch the entire season following a single person. That just seems incredible and very interesting, I'd watch it all over again for every character.

Now that I've had time to rationalize it, I don't think either Patrelli is gone. I think they saved everybody by taking that route, if you understand that Peter can regenerate and that Nathan could have flown away from him.

Besides, Peter and Slyar are definitely not done yet.

Oh, and Niki has completely redeemed herself in my eyes. I don't hate her at all anymore. As long as she doesn't do any more of that Smeagol-Gollum stuff, and the two personalities work together somewhat, I'll be glad.

I was amused when Peter told Nikki was it okay to step back and then he turns around and starts beating on Sylar because he just absorbed Jessica's Hulk-like strength.

A few people in the Heroes online communities have been taking up a fight against the writers for not just having Peter fly off into space himself, not sacrificing Nathan at all or to just have Claire shoot him. Many have actually come to the writers' defense by providing many rational conclusions on this.

1) Shooting Peter at that state would be like shooting a jar that's under pressure. The contents would fly out anyway. So by taking him out somewhere else to explode as opposed to simply shooting him, it guarantees that he wouldn't harm anyone at all.

2) Nathan had to redeem himself and not allow Peter to kill millions of people. What's more, in Peter's premonitions Nathan is standing with him, saying he won't leave him.

3) Peter seems to only be able to access one power at a time. Since the radioactive power was obviously in play, it was Nathan who could get him away quickly (or Hiro, but he was bamf'd to Feudal Japan, so tough luck there... *cheers that her hero wasn't killed off*)

Now with all that out of the way, a couple comments from me:

- Hahahahahahaha, Noah! Cheers!
- Ando lives!
- Seriously, what was up with all of the commercials? It seemed like every 5 minutes there were commercials again (at least 4 minutes long).

God, Origins better be the best thing in the world, because I'm going to need my Heroes fix.

Personally, I think the ending was wonderful because it was like written well. I also like how everybody was basically in one spot at the end.

I will always miss Issac.

The ending was better in the long run, but you can't help but feel a little disappointment.

Seriously, I was hoping for a massive battle which destroyed almost anything nearby as they beat eachother up using super powered abilities.

But then, they probably didn't have enough budget left for that.
