Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
Plot The story will be told from Umbrella's point of view and shed more light on the company's activities and its downfall, with the official trailer's motto being "Witness the end of Umbrella". Albert Wesker will play a very important role. Several mysteries from past games will be explained through documents the player can find. All characters from the first and third Resident Evil titles will appear in their respective stages. So far only Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Hunk, Carlos Oliveira, Rebecca Chambers, and Billy Coen have been shown. Sorry, Code Veronica Characters Not Included Resident Evil 4 I know most of you already know about the game since Nintendo Gamecube. The Wii version has major differences. Wii version was revealed as in production, which will launch this june. The game will feature all the extras of the PS2 version, along with other additions, including a trailer for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. Exclusive features In RE4 Exclusive features To compensate for the late release, Capcom has added new content made specifically for the PlayStation 2, and later added into the PC and Wii releases. Separate Ways, a five chapter mini-game which revolves around Ada Wong’s involvement in Resident Evil 4, and her connection to Albert Wesker, a former member of the Raccoon City S.T.A.R.S. unit, who is now attempting to revive Umbrella. During the mini-game, the player can use a pump-action shotgun and a bowgun with explosive arrows, two exclusive weapons. Ada's Report, a five-part documentary, which analyzes Ada’s relationship with Albert Wesker and his role in the plot. One unlocks portions of the documentary as they progress through the Separate Ways mini-game. New costume set, which portrays Leon as a 1920s mobster, and puts Ashley in an indestructible suit of armor. Leon’s Chicago Typewriter also has a drum magazine as opposed to the regular box magazine. P.R.L. 412 (Plaga Removal Laser), a laser gun which can be used to instantly destroy enemies. Unlocked by beating the "Professional" difficulty setting. Movie Browser, a feature that allows the player to view cut scenes from the both Separate Ways and the actual game. The feature is unlocked after a player beats the game. “Amateur” mode, an easier difficulty setting which is exclusive to the Japanese version Support for widescreen televisions. The Wii Port of RE4 this version will include Wii Remote compatibility for numerous gameplay features such as aiming and shooting, reloading and a "search knife" function that aims the knife at the nearest enemy. GameCube controller support has not been confirmed, but is possible since a handful of other Wii games are confirmed to make use of Classic and GameCube controllers. The laser sight on guns is replaced with a circle reticule that flashes red (enemy) and green (no target). Furthermore, the reticule is always presented on the screen. The circle remains a faint grey color that keeps track of the player's area of aim. Thus, it is possible to pre-aim at an enemy with one's gun i.e. aim with the grey reticule and draw the gun and it points in the direction of the original aim. This allows for quicker "pops" into a foe. I have the GCN version of the game which it does not have Separate Ways. I'm expecting to get this game when I buy the Wii. I love being as Ada Wong in the game. (Last edited by insectduel on 05-30-07 05:49 PM) |

The idea of playing with the Wiimote just seems awesome ... but, I already own it for the GC and and PS2. So I'm not sure if I'm going to get it, even though its supposed to be the ultimate version of it and everything, and its getting great reviews and feedback.
Better graphics? (Last edited by MasterSylar on 06-02-07 02:25 AM) |
