You know when the clock strikes midnight. What did you do? What were you doing?

I was looking for cough drops cause I have developed a sore throat over the last hour and couldn't find any so I ate a finger of peanut butter and grabbed three waters before going back to my room.

Fapp-...I mean...CoD4.

Really. CoD4. I freakin' HATE Veteran. It's like playing Legendary on Halo with one arm tied behind your back, you die in two shots, and instead of only being slightly useful, your squadmates lost half their brains and their guns are now the defected Blaster Rifles that the Stormtroopers used to try (and fail) to shoot Luke.

...

Happy New Year, everyone.

lols Politician. CoD4 Veteran > Any Halo on Legendary.

Worst part is the enemies respawn infinitely at most parts, so you have to just be good, know what you're doing, and be aggressive/advancing. But seriously, don't feel bad if you want to use youtube videos/tips for some levels. I definitely did with the last few levels of the game. Also, Mile High Club (bonus level at the end on the airplane) on Veteran = hardest shit ever. I can't believe I beat it, but I'm never doing that ever again (took me two days and probably like 4 hours or something, that's for a 1 minute level).

So my new years ... just hung out at a friends and watched TV with a bunch of people. That's about it. Bleh.

Went to two different parties last night--a Wii party at my friend Patrick's house where he also put together this huge barbecue dinner and then later with Brandon's band at the other guitar player's house.

When it came to the actual moment, I completely didn't give a shit. A bunch of us were watching Orgazmo and then suddenly someone came in demanding that we turn it off and watch Dick Clark.

The man is a meat puppet.

Literally. He had a stroke not long ago and he looks like a piece of leather that keeps getting stretched out and.. well, he just needs to kick the bucket. Plastic surgery can only go so far, especially since his mind seems to be failing.

Anyway, when the ball dropped (seriously, WHAT THE FUCK IS THE BIG DEAL ABOUT A BALL DROPPING?! Especially when you're watching a recording of it and the real ball dropped 3 hours prior), Brandon was sitting across the room from me. Neither of us got up to kiss the other, it was like any other moment in the world's mediocrity.

Good grief. Americans celebrating the New Year's makes absolutely no sense to me.

My feelings on the topic:

I usually watch the ball drop on television, but I didn't do that this time -- I guess it doesn't phase me that much anymore. Anyway, I think I was doing something on my board, lol.

Hey hey! HEY! Shin-Chan!
If you're looking for trouble he's your man!
Hey hey! HEY! Shin-Chan!
Breakin' the rules as best as he can!
A little bit rude!
A little bit crude!
He's the kid with an attitude!
Shin-Chan!

I hope I remembered the theme tune correctly... If I didn't, sod it. But I remember I used to watch the show a LOT.

Oh, something did happen to me REALLY early in the morning though. I got a text message at 2:28 from a friend saying HAPPY NEW YEAR... I thought he was a bit late.

A shotgun... Crazy people! Yea I heard a lot of fireworks, and they didn't end quickly, they were going on for quite some time. By the time I went to bed around 3 o'clock there were still occasional firework explosions.

ahhh I was making sure a girl that came to our party wasn't going to die in my bathroom because she drank too much. my husband sprayed everyone with champagne and therefore was covered in it, so I refused to kiss him because he was all gross... and I'm sure if I smelled like champagne, the girl I was helping would have started vomiting again. She prolly weighs under 100 pounds and drank 5 beers, had around 6 shots of hard liquor then decided to have an Irish car bomb. Dummy. >.<

Remember a very important rule about Drinking.

Beer before Liquor, you will get sicker.

Liquor before Beer, you are in the clear.

**shrugs** I like New Year's Eve. It's something my neighborhood does for the kids though, ya know? No school, no one had work the next day ('cept I did this year) so I remember being all excited when I was really little, staying up, watching all sorts of cartoon specials on TV, and then going outside and making as much noise as I could without getting my ass beat. It's not too bad though, like my gram's block, two doors down and next door to her are some of my cousins, and right around the corner are some more of my cousins, and then everybody else, they're all people that are like family because they've lived there since before I was born. So it was just like we could see some of the fireworks, and all of us kids, as I said before, were allowed to make as much noise as we wanted. This year it was great, the kids had a ball.

I brought home silly string...several cases of it...nuff said. XD

**shrugs** I dunno. It's just something that's kinda fun. And it's more of a family holiday than anything for me, so I guess I enjoy it so much cuz I'm not out getting drunk and forgetting half the night. That's what weekends are for. XD (If I drank much that is. I have more fun being sober sometimes.)

The whole New Year's kiss thing...I usually don't. I hate that shit actually. Well, I can't say HATE it, but I'm not the romantic type and when it comes to that kinda stuff, there's a big "fuck you" stamped across my forehead. But this year I did...but...It was just a normal kiss, ya know? Just because it was 12:00 midnight of 2008, didn't make it different. I just wanted to kiss him.

I was at a party at my friend Jason's house. We were all talking, and most of us were quite drunk thanks to venomouslobster bringing everclear. Had some champagne, and then ate some more nachos. Mmm... nachos.
