| It will be just like Epic Movie, and that other one before it. Really, the entire 'genre' (I suppose it's a subgenre of comedy? Or more of a subgenre of parodic comedy, which in itself is a subgenre of comedy) peaked in it's first movie. Scary Movie 1 was the best one. 2 was pretty good. 3 was mediocre with some good moments, the rest is crap. | |||

| I never saw epic movie but I did see date movie. It had it's moments and I found it to be much funnier than the scary movies, though I only saw the first and part of the second. One of the movies in this genera that I did find to be extremely entertaining was "Not Another Teen Movie". That movie I found to be one of the funniest movies I had seen at the time. | |||

| Errr, it's one of those movies I'm not going to see in theatres, or rent, unless someone asks me if I want to go. It reminds me way to much of Scary movie 4's trailers: a bunch of crude humour and random crap thrown together to try and sell a movie.

| I know it's going to suck. I'm counting on it. What hits me, though, is that I actually laugh watching the previews. I haven't done that since the original Scary Movie.
I don't go to see movies just because I think they'll be good. I go because I want to be entertained. Thinking it's actually worth recommending to people is a secondary issue. I truly think I can go see this movie and laugh my ass off. Perhaps even throw in there, "Damn this is a terrible movie, HAHAHAHAHA!!!" but above all I'd be paying good money to feel good. |
