| I sorta got the idea from the "Currently Watching" Thread. Post the current manga series you're reading. ------------- .Hack//XXXX Blood + I haven't been to the bookstore in a while >.<" | |||

| Well the thread does sort of already exist in the Entertainment forum, but it isn't manga-specific. Right now I'm going through a HUGE stack of graphic novels before Comic-Con next week, but the manga titles I'm going through right now are: - Priest 1-16 (Hyung Min-woo) -- Akira Vol. 1-6 (Katsuhiro Otomo) Figured it was finally time to sit down and read it as opposed to just going off what I remember from the movie - Lone Wolf and Cub (Kazuo Koike, Goseki Kojima) Bought the first 8 volumes for $1 each at Anime Expo As for that stack of graphic novels I mentioned. Here's what I've still got to go through by next Wednesday: - Usagi Yojimbo Vol. 18-19 (Stan Sakai) - Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (Frank Miller) - Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again (Frank Miller) - The Best of The Spirit (Will Eisner) - Daredevil Visionaries (Frank Miller) - Midnight Nation (J. Michael Straczynski, Gary Frank) - Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter Vol. 1 (Laurell K. Hamilton) - Arrowsmith (Kurt Busiek, Carlos Pacheco) - Plastic Man: Rubber Bandits (Kyle Baker) - Civil War: War Crimes (Frank Tieri, Staz Johnson) - Fables: Animal Farm (Bill Willingham, Mark Buckingham) - Planetary: Crossing Worlds (Warren Ellis, John Cassaday) - Young Avengers Vol. 1-2 (Allan Heinberg, Jim Cheung) - Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (Brian Augustyn, Mike Mignola) - The Authority Vol. 1-2 (Warren Ellis, Mark Millar) - Hellboy Vol. 2 (Mike Mignola) - Astro City Vol. 1 (Kurt Busiek) - Runaways Book 3 (Brian K Vaughan, Adrian Alphona, Takeshi Miyazawa) - Oz: The Manga (David Hutchison) - Superman & Batman: Generations, An Imaginary Tale 1 & 2 (John Byrne) - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (Jeph Loeb, Ed McGuinness) - Spider-Girl (Tom DeFalco, Pat Olliffe) I should probably get back to reading. | |||

| Right now I'm reading English scans of the Korean manga, Evyione. The story's pretty much The Little Mermaid, but with the roles reversed and it's a merman who seeks the love of a human princess. Yeah, I'm a sap at heart. | |||

| Bump. I just randomly decided I would read ALL of the InuYasha manga, just so I could see the real ending. It was a long 56 volumes (14 of which I have owned) but I suppose worth it. It's much better in the manga and has a much much better ending. |
