| To be exact there are two Green Island OVA's, Green Island Final was the last one finishing up that arc. First OVA was 8 episodes I think and Final is 14. Yeah that's where the anime ends.
I'm catching up on the manga now, at 244 now. No idea what to think right now honestly, I'm enjoying it but there's so many other directions I'd like to see this series take. I've heard this arc is still the one going though so I dunno how I feel about that. The Kurapika/Spiders stuff in the city clearly felt a little anti-climatic and unfinished ... I just really want to see more of that. Kurapika is awesome, the Spiders rocked, Hisoka is crazy, and I just wanna see Kuroro be awesome again. I kind of wish he'd just come into this arc and kill King, everyone else, etc. lol... Not to mention Ging. They're going to drag that out even more? And we still know practically nothing about Hisoka, Illumi, etc. Well I guess I still have 60-70 chapters to read, but yeah ... (Last edited by Xeu on 03-27-10 10:43 PM) |

| Nope, don't watch anime anymore. My internet connection can't handle it (only get 30GB/month that I'd rather use elsewhere).

It's painfully annoying waiting a week for one episode to me, especially when it's silly business like Code Geass or Gundam 00 that are obviously not laid out at all and are weekly written with chain reactions of cliffhangers. That, and mainly I just like to watch stuff at my own pace. A lot of shows I tried to keep up with I just stalled indefinitely. The new FMA was one of them, I wasn't really feeling it. But I haven't seen the first series... is that one better? | Fullmetal Alchemist, as I mentioned. I am loving it, and I think they are doing a rather fine job comparing it to the manga.
Angel Beats, I am really enjoying this one too. It's seems like they could have done a lot more with the concept, but I guess we'll see how it ends. But it's a good action/romance/comedy mix. K-ON!! No comment. Moe moe kyun. Arakawa Under the Bridge, this one I like a LOT. Being a fan of the FLCL, wacky, crazy anime type, it's really well done. A surprising amount of romance included. I don't much like the main character male, but the female and other characters make up for it. And others. |

| I may have brought it up before... but how would you guys compare Brotherhood to the original? I oddly jumped into this new one and still haven't seen the original, but I wasn't really feeling it after 7 or so episodes. | The first several episodes of Brotherhood just remakes of the original. I thing the original did a much better job at the beginning. But personally, once you get into the real story of brotherhood(aka, the same as the manga), I really enjoy it.
Each to their own though, I've heard people thinking the opposite. Both the manga and the anime ends in June. |

Especially the second Greed. And Olivia Armstrong and....
