See it.

If you don't you'll regret it.

Probably one of the most excellently executed films I've ever seen. Also, as far as effects are concerned, all I have to say is: Remember the first time you saw the Matrix, and thought 'Holy shit, I have never seen anything like this before, I sure hope this doesn't get copied in films for the next ten years, if not longer.'

This takes the crown from the Matrix when it comes to 'groundbreaking' effects.

Storyline, well thought out, coherent, and does almost everything well. I mean, the world introduces itself to you perfectly, there is build up, they let you have time to realize the world of entering dreams as a reality, then they jump from that point to plant you eyeball deep in the storyline. Also, the whole god damned film appears to be alive, an ever changing plot, which is impressive to pull off.

Can't say anything else, because then I'll start spoiling things.

See it.

I really want to see this movie. It looks amazing, but I've been working on something similar for a while, and I will have to scrap it if this happens the way I think it does.

I guess I'll have to see for myself, but it does look like an amazing film.

I saw the midnight showing and it was perfect. The special effects, acting, story, and the whole concept of going into people's dreams to steal information are great. I also really liked the ending
Spoiler:
How it doesn't give you a definite ending and leaves room for speculation

It was pretty awesome. I didn't like it as much as Shutter Island or some of Leo's other new ones (face it, he's been in some seriously damn good stuff thesedays!) ... but I have no complaints either. I actually wouldn't have minded if it were longer!

I didn't think Shutter Island was as good as everyone said, but I do agree that Leo has been in some really good stuff. I still think his best performance is in one of my favorite movies of all-time, The Departed.

I'm considering banning you. Inception > Shutter Island.

You know what?

Inception > EVERYTHING.

No wai, Blood Diamond was way more intense.

Inception was excellent to me, but not life changing.

I liked the movie, like a lot. But did you see the inconsistancies in it?

SPOILER: I don't know how to do that little box thing so i'll let you know with this. If you haven't seen the movie skip over this panel all together.

When they were all under in the van, they were supposed to be "kicked" because of their inner ear. But, when the van rolled why didn't they wake up?

I also really enjoyed the movie. So much that when my friend asked me to go see it with her..the night after we had both already seen it, I happily went along.

Here's an interesting article I read about it. Though I disagree about what they say about the "hotel room on the other side of the street" thing.

She was probably just trying to avoid him forcing her not to jump.

Oh, and you do the spoiler box thing by typing [ spoiler ] typing here and then adding [/ spoiler ] at the end. Without spaces.

Yet again, I agree wholeheartedly with Cairoi. Inception was one of the best movies that I've ever seen, and arguably the only sci-fi movie (in my book) that will ever top The Matrix.

Literally just saw the movie.

BEST. MOVIE. EVER.

Also, the first thing I thought when coming out of the movie was this:

Yo, Dawg! I heard you like to dream,
so we put a dream in your dream,
so you can dream while you
I N C E P T I O N

Also, I liked the music thing that Xeus pointed out. Also,

Urban Astronaut brings up a good point in that the kick from the roll should have woken them up.

I don't know...I've seen it twice now, and I do think its a really good movie...

But I don't think its quite as awesome as a lot of people seem to think it is. Its got a good plot, and everything ties together well, but I've honestly liked every one of Christopher Nolan's other movies better than this.

Now if you want to truly have your mind blown, I'd reccomend Memento. That's a truly crazy movie.

To talk about what Urban said
Spoiler:
I haven't seen the movie since the midnight showing, but if I remember correctly each kick was timed and planned out so only at the exact time would you been woken up from the dream.

Spoiler:
I remember waiting the movie and wondering the same thing. But since their already falling, they are already in "zero gravity" in the dream, right? So there isn't anymore sense of falling? Just sense of jerking. Remember, it wasn't the movement that woke them, it's the feeling of falling.

Right?
