| A thank you to all the people who asked if they could take a picture of me, this past weekend, when I went to WonderCon in costume. I actually wasn't expecting people to want pictures, but it was a wonderful surprise.
Thank you, all the random people who just started geeky conversations with me. I may seem really extroverted once I get to know a person, but I'm actually extremely shy and I'd love to just start talking about these sorts of things. Astonishing what wearing a costume can do, I guess. |

| Even though not many will see it, but a HUGE thank you to -everyone- who has helped me out during my time trying to find a job. I have finally found one! I begin in a week! And it's a perfect job, Monday through Friday, daytime hours, public holidays off, etc, that PAYS well. I can still see my boyfriend every weekend, be home in the evenings... and I can finally LIVE in New Zealand, as opposed to be trapped in my room for days because I can't afford to do anything. It will be a glorious summer! | |||

Thank you, Henry -- the waiter at Wild Crab, for being the greatest server I've ever had. Henry was AMAZING. When my dad threw a fit about the restaurant not having anything that would work with his diet, Henry talked him down and looked into alternatives he could have prepared. Thank you, woman I passed during a hike to an old nazi compound in the Santa Monica Mountains. I just asked about a set of stairs and she got excited, pulled out her copy of Secret Stairs of Los Angeles, showed us a map, and discussed routes with us. Thank you, Venice Beach Freakshow, for having Brandon and me as extras during the wedding of your midgets. Greatest. Wedding. EVER. Thank you, L.A. bookstores, for having amazing selections in the $1 bins lately. My bed is covered in my purchases as of late.
