For starters. Let me just say that on my spare time I have been working on a videogame of my own. Currently it's just me doing the design and programming but I also have some help from some of my friends who work at Funimation Entertainment on this.

We have all heard about the drastic news that Megaman Legends 3 isn't no more. The news struck me hard and although it's a game i really wanted to play. I kinda thought about it for awhile and decided to do some research.

This was about two months ago. I decided to get my hands on UE3 and did mountains upon mountains of research on how to make this thing work. But right now. The concept is in the works and this might not be a mock up of "Megaman Legends 3" but I plan on aiming at making this "A megaman game".

I don't and will not post some of the creative thoughts I had in making this so far due to fear of theft or anything of the like. But I just thought I would share this with some of you.

And you may have read about the whole "Help from Funimation" deal. I have two personal friends who currently work there as Voice actors and after getting the "Sure I will help" from both of them. I sent them a few things to say in a script that they should practice in. I got one clip back and unfortunately I can NOT share this with you. Believe me, I wanted to. But so far the voice clips I got were astounding and it's cool that I have at least a few people to help me work on the vocals for this game.

Design? I somewhat suck at. But at least I have made a prototype of a Buster gun, in which uses mechanics that should be very replayable from a day to day basis. At least for me that is. It's something that I have thought about in a very good multiplayer sort of deal.

Single Player however is out of the question. But I kinda plan on making this game somewhat of a "Deathmatch meets Reploid bosses in which you get new stuff and you use it while fighting other people and hey if you are good enough you are the Mavrick Hunter" kinda game. It sounds silly as all hell but I think I can make this balanced and fun at the same time.

Again, this is an idea in the making. And I have fooled around with the engine and made a gimmic maps just for running and jumping in on UT3.

The Vocal work will be used in not only in-game but also in a few cutscenes I plan on making.

Voice work comes from Tia Ballard. Who did suck works such as Shao May from Full metal Alchemest Brotherhood, Melody Honey from Sgt. Frog, and Kanae Kitamura from Birdy the Mighty Decode.

Next one is wanting to be known as anonymous until further notice due to him working on other projects and not wanting his name out. THATS OK! Because he has done some fine work that I am a big fan of and also worked with me while I was at Disney. So I know he can play the part. He; does not like cursing. So I kinda need to re-write his character a bit.

But basically I am not asking for too much help in the vocal department. But I do have somewhat of a "Cast" that will play their role in this game. Again, not going to say much due to it still being in development and eventually I will raise my hand out in help into making this game.

But the big picture is me mastering the UE3 program. But what I really want to do with this is get this project in the next time Epic Games makes their 4th annual Make Something Unreal contest. Which is a $1,000,000 dollars in cash prizes and you get not only your own trademark. But you can sell your game for an even greater project in hopes of making even more money! I want to get in on this contest when Unreal Engine 4 comes out and what better time to practice this now?!

But more importantly It's been a life goal of mine to design and create my very own videogame. And right now I don't have that much to spare. But I do have an external HD that can hold about 3TB and it's already filled to the rim with 60MB worth of Word Documents, 70 GB of Textures, and 30 GB of Audio files. I even threw my hat in the ring with vocals but they sound like shit and I don't want to share that! I'll be getting my mic sometime late this year and I'll be practicing my voice in hopes in getting in on this.

Whew. That's a lot to swallow. I know. Especally with no screenshots or anything! I KNOW! IT'S KILLING ME TOO!

Well, I guess this is an announcement about the game I am working on. I'm going to assume mid next year is when gameplay hits and it's gonna be shit and hell on earth trying to balance the system I have written up and oh hey it's back to the fucking drawing board!

Ah well. MEGAMAN! YEAH! FIGHTING OTHER HUNTERS AND SHIT AND GETTING GEAR! HOLY SHIT! GET EXCITED!

E- Oh, also last major mod I made was in Tribes.



I did however help a lot in the UT3 community to get your hands on some of your favorite mods. Even posted some tweaks in MODDB.com and in the forums I am kinda well known. I guess. But this is the first offical project I am working on alone at the moment. So this should be exciting.

E2- Oh, also, this is a videogame that is in development that is made using the SAME engine with only 9 developers. It took them almost a year to make this footage.



This is the power of the UE3 right here. Imagine UE4. Yikes.

Knowing my internet I won't have any videos to share. Hell I dont have anything really.

All I have is a big box in which is the test map. A Buster rifle in which shoots stuff (Also has a charged shot), and a few bots that sounds nothing like the body it's coming from.

That's really about it.

Well, almost. I do have one skin I made that was from Gears of War 3 that was a maverick. Drops however I still need to learn. Especially if it's coming from other players. But currently the boss is just there and as hard as he is, and with every other boss I will make that will come at random, will indeed have a gimick even if you don't own the weapon that will take him down easily.

So I have been working on and off on this and so far I -really- like this kit. However, the support for this is slowly fading as the next patch is coming out soon. The beta came out in January and so far it's getting a lot of praise.

So right now. Yes, this is going to be an FPS still. But with some twists involved that fits with the Megaman theme -without- it being megaman.

I made a few mods as tests on UT3 and I got a buster gun that is working. But it looks ugly as sin. But the mechanics works and it's incredibly broken. So I'm not set well with sharing that just yet.

The one thing I am having an issue with is making powerups for it. I tried asking for help on the forums last week and one guy helped me out a bit on it. But the problem is that right now it's not really reliable until I can get powerup effects and whatnot. But at least I got one effect for the charged gun! Ugly weapon and effect. But an effect nonetheless!

As for a map; I found someone who shares the same idea as I do at CSU and him and I have been getting together on off days to kinda make the layouts and whatnot. All I can say is that we spent about 20 hours working on it and we are not even halfway done with the damn simple map we were gonna test stuff in.

But I am learning a lot and hope to share stuff with you guys later this year.
