Been playing through the Streets of Rage Remake again, a fanmade game that rocks on all cylinders. It's basically got the SoR1 and SoR2 paths in there, and two others that are a mix of SoR3 levels and new original content. There's a lot of options to change up the gameplay mechanics to feel more like SoR2, or SoR3, etc. It's amazing playing a huge SoR game that has all the enemies in there and all the characters. Shiva rocks.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (quite the mouthful, huh?) is eating up my free time at the moment. Quite a lot of fun, even if the story is a bit iffy.

I guess Kojima took the MGS4 criticism to heart, I'm hearing TPP is like 100% gameplay. Kind of a bummer since I loved how ridiculous the plots were in the previous games.

I'm not, but I watched my friend play it. One of these days I will play the Fallout series.

Been playing "Fallout 4" (well duh, right?)

I like it, but I've been running out of ammo like crazy and still haven't found a brick-and-mortar trader. Been working on my settlement in Sanctuary Hills. Kind of bummed I can't have both Dogmeat and Codsworth as companions at the same time.

I'm level 38 and have yet to buy anything! lol, lots of my friends have had trouble with ammo too apparently. I dunno, I guess it's kind of random though, like I never seem to have shotgun ammo but my friend has a ton. I always carry like ~6 or more weapons though so I have access to a lot of ammo types and options.

Also melee is really fun, I'd recommend doing that against the little creatures and ghouls instead of wasting ammo on them. The sledgehammer is hilariously fun to use, but I have a full upgraded electrical katana now.

I've been doing some Far Cry 4. Seriously, I had no idea this game was so big, but I'm enjoying it. It takes a lot from what I liked about Far Cry 3, but without the dumb main character.

Also, I'm always a sucker for tactical shooters. I'm not quite at the level of Ghost Recon, but I like having to plan out my attacks, and then pulling off something cool.

Heck yeah! I don't know why a lot of people apparently give 4 slack. It has the cool flying vehicle, gorgeous graphics, no lame main character, better music, etc, I thought it was an obvious improvement over an already awesome game! Good stuff.

Thanks to a Steam sale, I finally got KOTOR and KOTOR II.

Now if it would stop minimizing the damn game every time there is a cut scene, that would be great.

I just finished up KOTOR1 myself, but I got so frustrated with the PC version I got it on the Xbox. I wish it were patched and had all the upgrades KOTOR2 recently got (widescreen, controller, resolution, etc).

There are a few tweaks for that game, and the main reason why it bugs out is due to widescreen incompatibility.

Linky link.

I use it not only for KOTOR, but a handful of others.

Xeo and Elara, have you looked into the Sith Lords Restoration Patch for KOTOR II? Just saying, it made the story a million times better. It's a mod that adds everything cut from the game back in.

I just started playing the Hitman games. Dang they are fun.

I have it loaded up on my Steam install for it I think. Definitely excited to replay it sometime. If memory serves me right... I don't think KOTOR1 compares haha, but it was still cool with a great twist. In ways I still feel like KOTOR2 outdoes Mass Effect as well. I just loved how weird and dark it was for Star Wars, and very gray line. Obsidian always rule when it comes to writing and are definitely better than Bioware in my book.

I really don't know who like more between the companies, to be honest, haha. I felt like Bioware is good at making genuinely good games, with amazing gameplay and a really good story, while Obsidian is good at making sequels, and suddenly turning them amazing. The only thing I don't like about Obsidian is that they really need a better QA team to fix their glitches.

They don't always have the opportunity. IIRC LucasArts actually refused to let them fix/finish KotOR 2 post-release.
