| I don't know if anyone listens to country around here, but I listen to it more than any other type.
Lonestar used to be one of my favorite country bands, but for some reason they've been getting on my nerves lately. He seems like he's whining when he sings. Prime example: "Mister Mom" I. HATE. THAT. SONG. Anyone who listens to country: what is your take on recent songs versus songs a few years older by them/other country bands. I love Tim McGraw's voice, but again, his most recent songs don't appeal too much to me. I like a lot of newer country too, mind you. |

I really like Lonestar though, same as Tim McGraw...and there's a few other people that my dad could prolly name for me. **shrugs** I just listen to it and am just like "ooo...I like that song..." and my dad'll tell me who it is and all. He's been into country since I was a baby though. One person that I can always pick out though, if it just happens to be one of her newer songs...Martina McBride. A lot of her recent stuff really isn't all that country, but I still love her songs, old and new. She just has an amazing voice... |

A lot of newer country is seriously getting on my nerves though. I know a LOT of people who do like Mister Mom, but I just can't stand it. O.o It seems too... whiney... and... I think it rhymes too much. Or soemthing. :/ |

| I used to be able ot play that song on the violin, Cryus. I think I still can. It took me like half a year to learn it.
Anywho, I really don't prefer country music but I can tolerate enough to like a couple of songs. Anything really twangy and "I love red white and blue" gets on my nerves. |
