| Nobody even talked about them? This is one of the best band ever.
I suck I describing things, but this is in the range of Black vocals,( then again that's not exactly it)/Power metal. | I believe they actually call themselves "symphonic black metal" to be precise. Children of Bodom does indeed kick ass... I must be with the eventual stealing of my friend's CDs so that I may burn them. | They rock. Saw them at the House of Blues little over a year ago.
Funny thing, though. They were the opening band for Iced Earth and after about 30 minutes into Iced Earth's set I was dying to watch Bodom again. ^_~ |

I don't know, musically I'd love their style, vocal wise ... no. 
Death / Black vocals just never excite me or anything, just me. As for what I've been checking out lately, Sonata Arctica ... now they freaking rock. I should upload a song or two (Power Metal). I'd have to give this band a fair shot though before I say anything. |

| Well, I can say I'm pretty impressed actually.
I definitely love the musical style, completely makes me think of Quake or something, and that's great music to play with FPS's. Even the vocals weren't that bad in my opinion. I just can't stand black vocals when they "don't stop" and just keep on screaming from the beginning of the song to the end. I liked how they did it with this band. But yeah, DarkSlaya you should check out my Dragonforce thread, they're even heavier.
