| What are your plans? Going out of town? Spending time with family? Crying in the corner?
On my end, I'm not quite sure yet. Zoso and I will be spending Christmas Eve with my mom's side of the family, but for his family, it's either we're going back to Arizona to spend time with his grandmother and his mom's side of the family or we'll be with his father (since he and I have never really hung out). So, now that we've heard your Christmas list and had all the debates about it, what are you doing? |

| My "thing" for the Holiday Season is basically the same each year. It's a routine. I stay in town, and one Christmas Eve my family (moms side) all get together to have a big dinner and give presents to eachother. Gets less fun as I age. At least I still got two of my "favorite" cousins still living.
My mom usually coems down from Kelowna, and I spend time with her. But for the past couple years, she's had too much work to come. So, I just keep on truckin' with my dad. As for Daily life i nthe Winter Break from school, I take full advantage of it, and just sit around...oh, and do other stuff. But inside, it's just sitting around. Gotta love it. |

| yea, I just got off from school for two weeks yesterday. on monday work is making me come in at 7:30 in the morning. i have to do it all week then I dont have to work at all on the week after christmas. I wish I could work the second week but my boss is a fricken ass whole | |||

| I have to work a double shift at the waffle house on that day...and we all know the waffle house is the only store that is open on christmas day.
At least on the first shift I get time and a half, and if I work a double shift on that day I get double time. Doing the calculations, I will receive over 150$ working on that one day...cant wait to get my paycheck... |

| Not much for the actualy 25th, my parents and I are just staying home and watching movies. THe 24th is when we actually do the celebrating and we're having some family over, as well as Guardian Oni, Zabuza and Junkie (yes he still lives for those who remember him) for a little food and drink. My parents and I made a "small" batch of tamales, about 200 or so. Aside form that, nothing special. | |||

| Well..I'll be spending Christmas Eve with my Mom and ten year old brother. Then Christmas day I'll spend at my grandparent's with my Dad and hopefully get to catch a late church service.
It's amazing, usually during this time of year I'm looking foreward to CHristmas and my Birthday (three days after), but I would skip it all to get to the 29th sooner, because that is goingot be a truly special day. |

| December 24th shall be spent working a shift at the Queen Mary from 9:45am-4:45pm and then booking it to my sister's house with my boyfriend (who I carpool with) for family dinner and gift thingies. The 25th shall consist of another shift at work and then to either my house or his house (not sure yet... hoping for his).
I signed up to work the 24th, 25th, 31st and 1st. Why this insanity you ask? I get paid double time for working holidays. Yup, that means I'll be getting nearly $16/hour for standing in one place or walking around looking at Titanic artifacts. Boring as hell with the standing, but worth it! |

| So far:
- Failed most of my finals. I didn't care though, because none of them weren't worth much. As long as I have at least my 3.3 GPA I'm fine (that might be low for some of you, but I'm very relaxed when it comes to school). - Met about 20 people at Pizza Street on Tuesday a few days ago, then a dozen of us went to Power Play. It's a giant arcade the size of a bowling alley, and since it has a Killer Instinct arcade, it freaking rocked. - Yesterday went Paint Balling with everyone at work. Since we were the first Million Dollar store in the world, our District Manager thought it would be nice and fun. We went through about 3 boxes of paint. I've got quite a bit of bruises. 
Since my dads side of the family is divorced all over, I end up having like 3 Christmas's. Saturday we're going to his dad's, on Christmas his mom's, then my mom's mom's on Monday. After all of the family stuff it looks like I'll just be working a lot. (Last edited by Xeo on 12-22-05 12:54 PM) |
