| I'm looking for a site that offers free web hosting, doen't have an editor of its own, I want to put the code in by myself, has FTP access, and has reasonable bandwidth and storage space. I won't need a LOT, just enough.
The reason being is I bought a book called Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML and chapter four talks about putting your files onto a web server and just so I could follow along I am in search of free web hosting. |

I would try Funpic.org. I have a few accounts with them currently and as far as I can tell there really good, at least there good enough to host a Acmlm board  |

| Funpic gets my vote too. It's much better to use than lycos, and other stuff like that that'll submerge your pages in advertisements.
Only thing about funpic, is it gets weird when you try to link stuff to other sites and whatnot. But, it's probably one of your better choices out there.
