A serene field of gently rolling glass unbroken by any hills or mountains is the battlefield for this area. This stretch of land is inhabited by naught but one single figure. The air tickles this figure with it's warm travels. THe sky's robin egg blue is blocked by a single mountain far in the horizon, stretching high enough to be seen for it's true mass miles from it's real location. This figure was known as Wild Willows. And he stood alone.

From nowhere, from the ground itself, a voice whispered. It seemed to come from everywhere, and nowhere. It grappled at the boundaries of comfort for Wild, it being a power beyond his mastery. Many things were, and many things always will be, but this would soon be answered.

"Hello Wild. Why don't you release your weapon so we can get started."

"Why certainly... what a nice place... a little... well, its certainly like no place I've ever been too, despite all appearances."

In a brief, barely noticable, white flash, there stood behind Wild the ever strengthened form of his Familiar, Kirabo. It had grown incredibly since his first meeting with the being. As his weapon was whatever he dreamt Kirabo into being (within limit of his strength, imagination, and logic), Wild awaited for his trainers first task in order to change the Familiar's shape.

Currently, Kirabo stood tall as a regal looking beast, far from the original fox-kit form he had taken when Wild found his powers. To put it in simple terms, it looked most like a lion when comparing it to any other animal. With its off white fur, it immediatly had an odd look about it, but upon furthur inspection, if one looked into Kirabo's eyes, they could see a swirl of rainbow light.

"Ready when you are!" said Kirabo to Wild.

"Same here. Show me what you've got in store for me, trainer!"

"Okay." The serene whisper responded, fading quickly into memory. "Let's put you in your element. Attack at will. However, after this, your Familiar cannot take it's own independant form. Keep that in mind."

Suddenly, the ground shook. From the small gatherings of shadows formed by the blades of grass, 5 beasts of shadows rose in anger. They appeared to be jaguars made of blackness, the only change being the shining violet eyes emnating from the head. They hissed and twitched violently, beings of chaos and darkness. They growled and and launched forth at Wild, want of death pushing them forward.

"A fast enemy, and Kirabo can't be independant... makes sense, this is for training ME after all... now what could I do to counter a swift enemy..."

The jaguars were more cunning than he thought. Instead of simply lunging at their prey, they made a wide circle around Wild, cutting off any escape route.

"Okay... something REALLY fast... or maybe my thoughts are going into the wrong direction... instead of making myself faster..."

Kirabo was engulfed in the rainbow light that was in his eyes. Quickly the light formed an ever changing beacon, and shot out towards where the jaguars were running in their circle. Upon hitting the ground, the light expanded into a waffle pattern. The jaguars ran one by one into the Net that Kirabo had formed. Their speed caused them all to crash into one mass, and then were locked between the net and the ground as Kirabo fell and attached itself to the earth. The angry jaguars, thirsting for a kill, clawed themselves to death, as such close quarters meant no possiblity of escaping towards any other form of prey than themselves.

"Well, that wasn't too bad. Better keep my mind as sharp as it is now lest something like this actually comes my way..."

Wild's mind raced as the enemies surrounded him, taking the voice's words to heart. Kirabo dissolved from his stioc form and retreated back into the depths of his mind.

Wild knew his foes were advancing, and he decided to stall their efforts. He used Kirabo's energy to form a large net barrier about him, encasing the beasts in the nets of light. The beasts screeched and howled until the tight grips of the soul energy destroyed them in a flash of grey, the two energies counteracting. It was a quick and painful death.

The voice chuckled loudly, the whisper growing closer to Wild. "Well, I can see your mind is still sharp. However, some problems must be adressed. One, you autohit. It's acceptable against weapons like these, but don't make the same mistake on another fighter. Also, you had some problems explaining your attack. This time, be sure to say your actions.

This time, why don't you show me a mundane task you can accomplish with your powers. No beast forms. THink outside the box."

A large stone pillar, completly smooth and stretching 50ft into the sky. Atop the pillar was a single red ruby, glinting in the afternoon sun.

OOC: Be sure to describe what you look like in your first post. I didn't get that last time.

"A pillar, huh? This is too easy... even without any beast forms. I just turn... wait... okay, so technically turning the energy into the Hand would be a beast form... drat..."

Wild recalled Kirabo's energy back into his mind. He looked over the pillar many times; there was no way to climb it physically, he would need to use Kirabo in some way. The net wouldn't work, and some sort of flying animal to help to get up was restricted.

"Well. There's always mimicing the problem. Maybe if I..."

As if growing from the earth before him, a stump of sorts appeared. Wild stood upon it and it grew and grew, larger and larger, until it became a tree. As the leaves grew, instead of the natural green color of an average tree, they were dim colored lights (Kirabo's trademark in each of his forms). It grew until the limb, upon which Wild stood, reached the top of the pillar. He walked to the edge and reached his way for the ruby.

"A little theatrics never hurt anyone... but it might do me in if I'm not on the right stage, you know? Hopefully that was alright for now at least."

"Acceptable. Your diversity allows you to adapt to the problem at hand. No let's see you in a real combat situation. Control transfers to him."

From the ground rose a warrior cloaked of legend. He wore a black trenchcoat, kept in rather good shape for the amount of weathering it took. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbows neatly, to keep them in that position. The collars were medium length but kept down. He wore underneath his trenchchoat clothes of a similar hue. He wore a black t-shirt and pants, but these items of clothing seemingly reflected no light. It gave the agile eye the indication of magic.
He also wore on his person black gloves with the fingers cut off, the actual glove going up 1/3 the distance to his elbow. His black boots had hard rubber bottoms, giving him extra traction.
His long brown hair was kept in suprisingly good condition today. the back was kept in a ponytail, and the front had naught but a few stray bangs dangling before his face and jade eyes. His smirk was not encased in his normal 5 o' clock shadow, or any stray hairs at all.

As all battles call for, Wild presented himself for his enemy, in response to Cairoi's appearance on the field.

Though not sharing the legendary status, Wild did share a taste in coats with Cairoi. Falling halfway to his calves, Wild wore a brown leather coat, opened entirely, with the collar up. Beneath was a snug fitting, light sweater, brown with thin white stripes. Around his neck and in a knot was a long red scarf. As for pants, his bell cuffed jeans, weathered from his travels, were simple; their comfort made way for easier movements. Staying true to that philosophy of comfort, Wild wore a pair of sandals; though leaving his feet vulnerable, they proved themselves time and time again perfect for any terrain, be it mud, sand, marsh, or hard earth. The only real heavy garment was his coat, but that was the price to pay, as it was safe and its innerpockets served well for hiding any supplies (or keeping Kirabo out of the rain). His hair fell in long dark brown curls below his ears and over his eyes, pushed to the side as to let only one grey blue eye show. He was unshaven with a five o'clock shadow of sorts, since he hadn't a mirror or razor in quite a while.

The Kirabo Tree shrunk back into the earth and morphed back into its Lion form. From there, Wild contemplated on what he should use on his enemy.

"Well Cairoi! This is just training, so shall we spar for now? We wouldn't want to harm eachother. Then again, you are the trainer... or from him, at least."

Kirabo shrunk to the size and general shape of a marble and came to Wild's hand. From there, it grew to a rounded rod of rainbow light; it wasn't a sword, as there was no edge or sharpened point to it, yet it wasn't quite a club, as it was straight and not tapered in any way as to be used for bludgeoning. It was maybe 36 inches long (such an exact number for such an approximate guess). At least six of those thirty inches were a dark, solid colored hilt with no crossguard; the weapon was round and straight, all around, nothing protruding from it. Wild's sparring weapon.

"I hope you weren't hoping for a fist fight. First move you said? I always have troubles making the first move against humans. Might that be a sign of a lack of confidence? No matter. I'm here to learn."

Wild took a, no pun intended, wild dash at Cairoi, his weapon out behind him as to allow him time to swing, one arm in front of him as if shielding himself in some way.

Cairoi chuckled and jumped to the right, avoiding his wild attack. He stopped himself by pushing against the ground behind him and charged forward, drawing one of his two identical blades, Minuit. The black blade of the sword had jagged edges, greyer and more visible than the blade itself. It appeared to be made of obsidian, though it was much too sturdy to made of solely that.

He made a slow diagonal slash starting at the upper right of Wiley's back and going diagonally to the bottom left. His smile did not leave his face as he made the slash, expecting Wild to counter effectively.
