Well its currently 4:00 AM.

I saw the 12:01 showing. Not like I was totally hyped up about this movie and couldn't wait to see it, but I'm not working tommorow (or as someone might come in here and correct me in saying ... later today!), and my friends and I just figured what the heck?

It was good. It had some great moments, good humor, good action and everything. I honestly don't think it put up much of a match in comparison to Superman Returns, but it was enjoyable. And twisty twisty's!

Anyways, I'm ...

Im supposed to see this movie Tuesday with my Friend Neo-Sage.

I wanted to see this movie today at 10, but I declined the offer, and decided to see the movie with friends rather than a 13 year old and her mother =/

But according to fandango.com, Colombus Georgia sold out in every time for 3 days...and they are still selling tickets....so here, its impossiable to get a ticket here untill Tuesday ( Which thank God I already got my ticket )

My stepdad is a fag. He's made me watch Pirates of the carribean like 5000 times. He watches it every night and has probably seen the new one 6 times already. what a gay ass. I have learned to hate pirates anything now. He bought annual passes to disneyland and made us wakle up at 5:00 am to go see the new additions to pirates there. what a gay ass

To YeahBill: Could you please lay off the Gay reference's, some people feel insulted when you use that term, please try something else.

BOT:

I would like to see this movie, But more than likely im going to wait a few weeks before I do, usually big movies around here are sold out if not packed to hell for weeks on end, I know LOTR was backed up for almost 2 months after it came out.. all three movies to say the least, and the same with star wars..

I will probobly pull a few favors with some of the workers to get in for free.. *shrugs*

I hearted this movie. I can't ruin it, but it definetly kept my attention the entire time and the ending was so mind-reeling I have trouble not seeing the next one immeaditly afterwards.

I waited to see this movie for 100 minutes of standing and or sitting.

It was more than worth it.

PS- (Kiera Knightlry cannot be in a bad movie. Her presence makes the film legendary ^O^)

meh.

it was okay. It was better than the original in some ways, such as plot, and the fact that Johnny Depp doesnt carry the entire movie on his shoulders. But the music wasnt as good. I did like who they picked for davy jones though.

I wasnt a big fan of the original movie, without Depp it would have been pretty bland. And the ending was good, although completely out of the blue, and it made no fucking sense....

3 out of 4 worth seeing, just because everybody else is.

Hmm, now that you mention the music, yeah I don't really remember any of it being remorable.

Who did Davy Jones?

I haven't seen this yet, but I thought it was going to be dumb, but I want to see it now. BTW, weird guy to Davy Jones.

Um...Did you see the same movie? Johnny Depp's charisma completely carried the film. Most of the reasons the movie was good was because of his delivery of his lines.

I liked the movie. But the ending.....Grrr....I don't like it at all. Cliff hangers can be a great way to end a movie, but not done like that. I'd like SOME loose ends taken care of before the movie ends.

yes, most of the movie was carried by Depp, but at least some of it wasnt. The first one all of it was.

I completly agree with you on that. That was too much of a cliffhanger. Overall though I did like the movie and thought it was overall good to watch and worth seeing at the movie theater. Aside from the ending, only one thing annoyed me, but not saying what it is as to no spoil it for others.

Oh, and stay after the credits (the incredebly LONG credits). Funny little scene.

Just answer me this one question:

Do Pintel and Ragetti finally hook up?

I was thinking about seeing this at the midnight showing since I was in Hollywood at the time, but decided against it. Actually, there's been so much hype surrounding this that I think I'll wait a few weeks before taking it in at the cheap theater, unless I decide to hit up my friend for free tickets again.

I don't know. Pirates was a lot more fun when it was just the first one, no one knew much about it when it came out and it was a surprise wonder that lit the screen afire and took no prisoners. Now... now there are so many friggin' pirate enthusiasts that I'm drowning in a sea of idiots who wear flogs on their belts and insist on being called pirates because they have drinking problems. Ah, Rocky Horror security, how I don't miss thee.

Wake me up when the cowboy craze comes back. I'll break out my Luke Skywalker poncho. The ninja one is slowly dying off, thankfully.

All right, so I'm rambling and my excuse for not wanting to see PotC 2 is kinda out there. I think the hype surrounding it is like that of the Matrix. The first one was magic, but then the hype that which surrounded the other two, which came out in succession became their downfalls.

I think a brief pause before charging into this one is necessary for me.

I'm pretty sure she meant two other people, but she referred to them that way so not to spoil it.

Hahahahaha. Ask a Ninja actually backed up a few of the reasons why I've chosen to not see this.

Ask A Ninja

Sauron actually posted a rant about it and completely shot it to shit with most of the points I've made with other people.

Ninjas of the Caribbean, though. Oy.
