Have you ever spent days and days and days making up flavors of ice cream that no ones ever eaten before? Like chicken and telephone ice cream?...Green mouse ice cream was the worst.

Well after much talk with my parents about it, I'm finally getting it done. I'm having my wisdom teeth removed.

It's gonna happen on Tuesday, July 25th, 2006 at 9:15 a.m.

I'm scared terrified.

I've never really had anything this serious done to me at the doctors or dentists before and even before it was 100% decided, I would stay awake hours at night fearing it, trying to keep myself from going into a panic attack.

I know it's for my own good. I've talked it over with the dentist, and oral hygenist and an oral surgeon and they all said the samething.

I went to the consultaion today to get me ready. I always thought something like this was suppose to ease my worries and everything...it made it worse.

It was all about everything that could go wrong pretty much. I was told thought the chances are low, but still when they tell you they have to put you to sleep and the gas has a chance of casing your heart to stop, it kidna freak you out.

I'm gonna go through with it, no choice in it after all, I'm just scared is all.

They are actually putting you out? Lucky, I had to be awake for it... of course I think it was because mine were showing. It's nothing really, even awake it happened so fast it was nothing. I've been put out for operations before, and that is always a risk that they are required to tell you about... but it is nothing to worry about and you won't be under for very long anyway.

Trust me, it will be quick and painless. I have a crappy dentist, you know that, and the oral surgeon that I had was awesome so yours must be even better. The only thing that will be a problem will be the odd feeling of a bunch of gauze in your mouth afterwards... you will look like a giant chipmunk. You won't be able to use a straw to drink anything for awhile, nor should you eat anything really hot or really cold. In my case, warm tomato soup became my best friend. Solids are best avoided until the holes heal up right, both because of risk of causing damage and also because it just feels to damned weird.

...Oh yeah, that is another thing, even though yours haven't come out yet I am sure there will be little indents afterwards from where they were... and whenever you feel them with your tongue prepare for the weirdest feeling in your life! It heals over like there was nothing ever there after awhile, but while those are there it is like this strange compulsion to play with them. Seriously though, don't be scared.

I also had to be put to sleep for my wisdom teethe pulling Elara.I've got a freaky story. They where in the middle of pulling when one of my wisdom teeth fell into my lungs. They had to call 911 and rushed me to surgery(After removing the wisdom teeth)to remove it.That affected my breathing for a while so I was given Oxygen through a mask(Not the one that puts you to sleep)

A six year old thread bump?

Granted, you did actually add to the conversation... but really? Just saying.
