I'm just wondering if I'm saving enough, really. 
After I got my job (about 3-4 months ago), I opened a savings account, where I'm basically putting away money that's going to be drained from my own car insurrance, and gas. A pretty good example of how much I save would be this: Say I get a check for $350, I'd -probably- put in about 250 of it, and keep 100 of it for myself. So I've usually been putting in a little over half. It seems like I'm taking out a lot though, but I've got a good bit saved up now, almost a grand. So, am I saving a lot? Too much? Too little? |

| Well here in KS, the weather has been pretty different for the past month or so.
For the past 2-4 weeks, it's been rainy, muggy, dark and groomy here. I'm not saying I don't mind it, since it easily gets rid of the heat and the smell of rain is great, but it's just different for KS. We were up until now in one of the worst drought's we've ever been in, but not anymore. The past couple of days I've had to drive to school in the rain (which kind of annoys me). So, how has the weather been around your area? |

| Man, I suck.
I spent $101 today at Best Buy ... GC 1012 Memory Card (I seriously needed it, since I now have 20 GC games) - $29.99 Rahxephon -entire- box set (I saw this and could NOT pass it up) - $57.99 Scorpions Album (I needed it, yes) - $5.99 With tax and everything it hit about $101, which kind of shocked me ... just guess I wasn't doing the math very well when I was browsing around, but yeah.
That's the thing with me, when money slumbers in my pocket, it doesn't sleep for very long. I buy, buy, buy, buy. Meh, I've still got about $100 in my pocket, so it's good.  (Last edited by Xeolord on 08-27-05 12:31 AM) |

I wouldn't want something crazy to happen, like BillieG browsing the forums then passes by one of my posts and his mother walks by and sees my layout and screams because that is considered to be outrageous in such a family then demands to speak to the site administrator about the issue and she realizes, it's me.

Maybe my mind has just gone completely blank at the moment, but there are ways to define variables in a sense in HTML and CSS, right? |
Like, say I want to make a variable for a special kind of table or something, or maybe a special kind of font, can't I define it in my CSS file or whatever, and bring up the tag in my HTML or post? I'm pretty sure this is what the div tags are used for, but I'm not positive. Again ... I haven't been on the computer as much as I usually am, so this could just be a brain fart or something.

Kind of makes me want to hit Nintendo over the head with a hammer. This should have been the ONLY memory card for the freaking system. |
Really though, I have a regular 64mb card, which seems and feels almost completely useless now, and an 256mb card which is completely taken up (RE games take up a huge 8mb per save, I've been having to delete a ton of things to free up space recently). So basically, if you play GC games, and own a lot, spend $30 and save your time, and everything for the 1012 card, because it actually gives you ... space!
Yeah, just a short rant / thing I wanted to post I guess.

Has anyone ever played these games for the SNES?

I seriously didn't even know they existed for the SNES until a few days ago, when I saw them at a new used videogame / movies store. They had several copies of Fatal Fury 1 and 2, for a pretty cheap price, but I'm not sure if they're worth it or anything?
I just thought the early SNK franchise was only found on the arcades, but I guess I was wrong. My friends who are big fans of the SNK series, praise it and argue it's way better than Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and everything. So maybe I should pick a copy up? But I truthfully usually don't spend that much at one time. I did plan on going in and buying a memory card 1012 for my GC, but then saw the boxset for Rahxephon for such an impressive price, and just bought a Scorpions album for the heck of it, because they rock. I'm sure there's been those times with you guys also.

Today, was the day I played Checkers with death.

But on a serious note, I drove to school and my car does -not- have defrost, and it was pouring down extremely hard this morning ... so it was pretty dangerous.
I looked at it as a game though, I got up behind people and just follow their lights. I could see well enough around my area to tell where I was, but looking straight out of my windshield was pretty blurry. 
It's kind of scary, because a few minutes before closing in on my school you have to drive up this small 2-lane road with hills, and that's when my windshield got really bad, but luckily I could see those lights.
