Man, you guys are weird.
|
I just find it interesting you guys like Cellador. They're more on the Dragonforce side when it comes to their "style" of Power Metal, which from what I've seen here for the longest time, it seems like I'm the only Dragonforce fan here (just from what I've seen). So basically what I'm saying, if you guys really like Cellador, definitely give Dragonforce a try, you could be surprised. [copied from one of my old posts] Valley of the Damned - First track is just an intro, this is the first real song. Totally awesome, kind of a different intro coming from Dragonforce (sounds almost like Thrash), but I love it. Black Fire - Hate those gangters driving around with their rap blasting out of their car? Destroy them with this. Nonstop insanely fast and incredible song. Disciples of Babylon - Overall incredible song. If you want to check out their albums, it's not that complicated: there's two: 1. Valley of the Damned - Freaking impressive masterpeice. From the start, to the end, this is pure godly. Epic, thrashy, insanely fast, upbeat, dramatic, and so forth. Probably my favorite Power Metal album ever. 2. Sonic Firestorm - Also amazing, but I'd favor Valley of the Damned over it. Not that it's worse, it's just the style of this album. It's more solid-pure riffs and solo's, while as VoTD seems to be more "stylized". Heck, just get them both. Everyone single one of their tracks are incredible, except for the two slow songs (one on each album). I'm sorry, but Dragonforce's slow songs are just completely out of place and just stink. Just be careful, if you become obsessed (like I am) and try to go back to Edguy, Gamma Ray, or whatever, you'll sit there and feel very calm and say ... "Man this stuff is slow!" ~ Not literally, but yeah, Dragonforce is kind of it's own style. (Last edited by XeoLord on 09-15-05 12:57 AM)

Heh, and it's only been a little over a year. For a smaller community, I'd say that's pretty impressive here.
|
Congrats to everyone.

... Yeah, I'm sure some people will slap me for this, but Iron Maiden isn't too bad.
|
Why would people slap me? Well, I've yelled out a lot about them, just argueing agains't the band and everything to others. Really, they're not that bad of a band, but I still am on the "I think they're pretty overated at times" side of things. I like Powerslave a lot, but that's basically it. But pretty much every song on that album is really awesome. Track 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 are probably my favorites. On a serious note though ... Spoiler: They are absolutely not even close to being considered Power Metal. =P

Keyboards, you can easily use a computer without a mouse, while as it would be hard to use a computer with only a mouse available and not a keyboard (life would suck in Paint programs though )

Metallica vs Megadeth (I couldn't think, I already know who'll the next user will go with )

Zorro in my opinion, is like the roots of Batman. He is Batman, only 100-some years before!
|
Edit: Uh yeah, I think Batman is by far one of the coolest Super Hero's out there, so yeah, comparing Zorro to him should say I vote for Zorro. (Last edited by XeoLord on 09-15-05 01:51 AM)

Originally posted by DarkSlaya Probably. I mean I have like 5-6 of their albums, but I didn't really care for most of them other than Powerslave (and the ones without Bruce Dickenson on vocals ... ugh, horrible).

I can't really think of any at the moment ...
|
One that comes to mind (whenever I hear the word "glitches") is the infinite jumping trick in the first Mine Cart level from Donkey Kong Country. Somehow, my friend and I found out about that trick by ourselves. Other than that, glitches are really easy to find in most FPS games. (Let's not even begin to talk about Halo or Halo 2)

Well, I don't know ... any ideas?

A custom title I guess, if they don't already have one that is.

That's a tough one ... I'll go with the PS2 Slim though, because they're better at reading the damned games!
