Sajin, it doesn't surprise me you like both Blind Guardian and then Savage Circus. I've been browsing a bit for reviews, and stuff like that and found out that Blind Guardian's drummer (since 1985) Thomen Stauch apparently left them a few years ago, not too pleased with their new "sound" (specifically their latest two albums, which I have heard aren't nearly as good). Thus, he formed Savage Circus.

Could you compare Savage Circus to Blind Guardian from the mid nineties? (Imaginations). That's what I'm getting from reviews. Anyways, I'm starting to like BG more and more every time I listen to them. My friend had downloads of all the albums and sent them over, I'm probably going to buy most of them. Edit: I don't think I blame the guy for leaving them. I just listened to bits of "The Night at the Opera" ... wow, talk about over the top and hey, where is the metal!? I don't know, some of the songs actually almost made me laugh, they're just ... way over the top, and it seemed really happy compared to their other stuff. Except me I guess. I usually tell people my favorite is Rahxephon.
But, just read above and you can probably see why. It's been probably months, maybe even years since I've seen an entire anime all the way through. Back in my Junior High days when my friends and I didn't have work, we watched anime's all the way through in a few days. Can't really do that anymore. =

I don't really see the point in this thread because people are just going to automatically think of terrible movies, and note them here ... |

I'll go with Superman, because of the fact that was already brought up - he doesn't have to be in any kind of special world to gain his powers, Neo does.
And adding to Drizzt's point: Matrx - Great, cool ideas, very interesting! Matrix 2 - Utterly horrible! Matrix 3 - Good actually, I liked this one. But yeah, the Matrix Trilogy was nothing special in my opinion. I do kind of hate the series though, because after it a lot of people got extremely "bullet time happy" in games, and movies. Ride the Sky from Helloween. (played by Gamma Ray there), pure classic.
I really don't think I can list all of my favorite songs, I just have so many, sometimes I enjoy entire albums all the way through when they're really good. A lot of Gamma Ray, Judas Priest, Iron Savior, Racer X, Impellitteri, and some Helloween stand out the most for me though. And probably other bands that I just can't think of now.
