Yep, like WoW ... I guess. Much older though (but still better than a lot of MMORPG's out there, seriously), and its entirely free ... (usually, but DarkmoonRO is, the one XG plays on).
|
Anyways, pictures of what the game is like can be found here.

I smell ... shred.

Nah, apparently you didn't like those goofy days. Heh. Either way, good to see some oldbies coming back.

Yeah, kind of wondered where you disappeared to. Good to see you haven't forgotten about this place, so hope to see you active again. |

How about Mencia getting arrested for being ... so stupid? Heh, not sure if I'm the only one here, but I can't stand that guy. He's just not funny at all.
|
Or maybe Bill Nye. No idea why, but that might actually be kind of funny. Again like you said, I mean no harm here. The Mythbusters ordeal you setup gave me a big laugh, I could just see that happening. But yeah, I'm a big fan of them myself. So, can't really think of anything myself, but some of those you mentioned would actually be kind of goofy. (Again, sorry I sometimes make excessive uses of the comma and my sentences are weird). Eh, if you know anyone through AIM here that could maybe help you with this that would be your best bet (its been complicated for some people). Here's the installation guide. It is a little tedious to finally get working, but yeah its fun and easy to get into once you're finally good to go. |

Hehe, very unique layout. And its simple and gets the job done. Though maybe you could do without the scrollbar? Just my preference.
|
On a somewhat relative note, I can't wait until Episode II.

I still need to play the GC one, but doupt I will for awhile.
|
This though I'll probably get (the Wii already won me over with Zelda). When does it release?

Originally posted by Nelrith I've gotta agree about the price, tons of my friends were "surprised" too. Really, this is going to be one of the cheapest consoles at launch we'll see, especially with how future systems could turn out (I mean look at the PS3 ...). The N64, and past Nintendo systems all started at $300 I believe, or $250. So in short, I'm very happy with the price, it seems great if you ask me. Bad news is though that the GC version of Twilight Princess got delayed, and I really have no idea why. I wanted to get both versions, but I planned on playing the GC one first ... since it won't require the wii controller. I just fear the Wii controller and the ideas with it could be tedious or akward for Zelda, but I don't know. Simply put, I'm getting a Wii when it comes out.

Originally posted by avatar of law Sounds like a Stephen Seigal movie. But yeah, this situation seems weird. I'll admit I have never see a lot of his show, but Dog is pretty cool and quite intimidating (look wise, he reminds me of Hogan sometimes). But yeah, wonder how this will turn out. (restricted) |

Dang ShadowKnight. Where have you been leveling? I have 40 some hours myself, but a lot of that is from letting the game idle (because I want Flonne and Laharl). I guess you can only unlock them on Chapter 12-13 though, but I'm on 11.

My higher characters are towards the 70's, with Adell over 80. I spent a good amount of leveling off Cave of Ordeals 1 (very quickly I might add, its fun to level someone from level 1 to 25+ in one kill!). But I've just now been starting to raise enemy levels so I can go even further. I do have a level 1700 something Neko though, but I've never used it yet, and probably won't. I could get a few at 9,999, but just haven't felt like it. I've been doing what some people at GameFAQ's have been doing, and just decided to kind of wait out on the Item World and powerleveling until my 2nd cycle. I mean, I'm not even having to try with the campaign right now and I have yet to abuse somethings (I'll admit, I do have 7 million HL from a few bills and CoO1).

Originally posted by Nelrith Yeah, heck there's even going to be some Wii games that only use the Gamecube controller (Super Smash Bros Brawl, and possibly Metroid Prime 3 I'd guess). So I think we'll still see heavy use of the GC controllers for the Wii throughout its time.

Originally posted by Spyware Heh, sidenote: That guy worked on a few Gamma Ray album covers I believe. (probably just one, but I'm not sure. And obviously, Blast from the Past. You can just tell). Yeah, I still haven't heard this album. Oddly enough, I still don't know much about Iron Maiden (of all bands?). Right now I can just say I loved their debut, Killers (a lot!), Number of the Beast, and Powerslave, but I haven't heard much outside of those albums. I'm guessing I should start with other albums before I check this one out. (Last edited by Xeodeus on 09-16-06 03:16 AM) (restricted) |

Friend of mine showed me this interesting article.
|
"Nintendo Wii: Secretly more expensive than Xbox 360?" It does make several good points, but yeah ... I'm still getting a Wii. Its not like everything mentioned in this article is an absolute must buy. And you could counter with the addition of 360 accessories on top of the console prices itself. Gah, I feared that part with story characters leaving for another cycle, but it does seem obvious.
|
I've actually reincarnated several characters, some that I'm not taking "too" serious. I already have a Gladiator (level 4 Warrior), and a very nifty Star Mage. I have access to the Prism Mage, but I'm going to wait a bit on that. Other than that though I just reincarnated one of my Red Mages into an Acolyte so I could have another good healer with attack magic. But yeah, for the rest of my reincarnating I don't plan on doing it for a very long time, and probably only when I could afford Genius on top of that. A Ninja Mage is something I'd like to work on in the future. I read about that setup at some of the threads at GameFAQ's, and it does seem like a really good idea. Apparently Female Ninja's have the highest Int next to Mages / Skulls (I'm pretty sure, at least someone said that). And in time I'll probably just have my Ninja replace my Sinner (been hearing a lot of people say they're worthless, but hey I do like their counter rates! ). Yeah, one thing I did wrong according to a lot of other players, is have too many characters. When I go into a map, I usually bring out a max of 10 people to fight. But from what a lot of people say, its easy to handle things with a few stronger characters, rather than a larger amount of weaker ones. But hey, its my first time playing Disgaea (II). So really I'm just still kind of exploring the game and the classes. |
