Overdone does seem kind of right. Regardless, I'd still rank it up there with the previous Spidey movies, and it was definitely amazing.

Spoiler: I'm not sure if I was pleased or a little upset with Venom. I didn't care that Tophar played him, but everytime he talked the symbiote would pull back and reveal his face. It was cool a few times, but got predictable or something. And it would've been cooler if his voice were more demonic or something. Regardless, it was great, and just like the comics/cartoon ... I don't think we've seen the last of Venom.

I think its fine, just like I told White via his PM. He suggested making a seperate sub-forum for it, but that might be cluttering things up, perhaps? I suggested just labeling the thread title with a [NSFW] mark or something like that, to maybe get some kind of point across.

Yeah, some cleaning up could definitely be done in some forums. There's a few "mandatory" threads here and there I'd say, but for the most part the ones you mentioned and probably others could be taken down. |

Their "Dark Saga" album is pretty damn bad (no offense). FINALLY though, I recently got a few of their older ones that rock my face off. The classic "Night of the Stormrider" and "Burnt Offerings" are much heavier, thrashier, and awesome. I've heard they do shows with Blind Guardian a lot, man that would rock my face if I saw that.

Tim Owens is a pretty awesome vocalist. He also sang for a 1993 release from Winters Bane. Sadly their myspace doesn't have any old songs off that album he did vocals on, but just check out their new 2006 album, its pretty killer above average power metal. (Seal the Light is amazing). The vocalist there for Winters Bane is Alex Koch, one of my new favorites. He's also active with Powergod, another really awesome band I've gotten into recently. Powergod - Back to Attack (off of Evilution II). Awesome song, catchy as heck. With all the remakes/porting and milking Squeenix has done to the series lately, I'm really not that much of a fan anymore. And I'm still a little unimpressed with this so far from what I've seen. It looks like Xenosaga all over again. |

Or superhero movies wise, Fantastic Four 2! I know the first one was medicore (not as bad as Catwomen, The Hulk, or anything though), but the next one looks amazing so far. And ... Silver Surfer.
