It wouldn't seem right with something like orange juice though. The thicker the drink is, the worse the idea of putting ice in it gets for me I guess.

American movies? I don't know.
Anyways, I'm seeing it again this weekend. My god it was absolutely incredible. I think I just woke up one day and decided to have a real open mind about it and to stop comparing it to the old series and so forth. I mean some of the biggest diehard Transformers fans will tell you Beast Wars sucked, but I loved it. And I loved this too, I went in not knowing what I'd think of it ... but I walked out with my pants completely blown off. However, it wasn't perfect. These are some things I didn't really like about it: - The spiderbot Transformer got a little old after awhile. At times it seemed like they wanted it to be funny and cute, while it was for awhile, I just think that thing had a little too much camera time. - Most of the actors sucked except for Shia (yes, I'm a fan of his). Megan Fox was okay - The random rock music that popped up during some of the scenes really ruined some of the moments for me. Just give me epic music. - Needed more Starscream and obviously lacked a lot of other Transformers, but it honestly seems like we'll be seeing a sequel. - Some stuff dragged out a bit. I wanted more Transformers. I pretty much creamed my pants every single time Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) spoke. It was absolutely amazing and it seemed like they nailed the rest of the characters. Some of the humor, as cheesy as it was, was really great. Like when Sam was in his room and his mom asked if he was masterbating ... haha. That whole scene with them and the Transformers dodging around the house was great, it was childish and cheesy, but look at the Generation 1 series ... it had plenty of that. Anyways, yeah. Best movie I've seen this year.

Guess I'm on the other side of the fence. I'm a big fan of the original (a big reason why many of my friends think I hated this one), but I really didn't care for this movie at all. Take out Bruce Willis and it would have been a huge pile of diarrhea.

Bruce Willi's and his great character John McKlane was the only thing I really liked about it. Other than that, I just couldn't stand the ridiculous plot and some of the utterly bad actors. Timothy Olyphant reaches my list of "Should never play another villian in any A Title movie ever again". He was by far, one of the worst villians I have ever seen, his acting was absolutely atrocious ... half the time I thought he was going to start crying through most of his dialogue. On top of this he's apparely the OMEGA hacker, well how come he never touched a computer in this movie? If he could have done things himself it would have been more epic. I just don't know, it was enjoyable but hardly epic like the original. Something I won't look back at in 10-20 years and call a classic.

So, I'm a bad influence now. I finally got hammered one night, deciding to go to my bosses house for a big party with just about everyone from work. After two years of holding back from them, I gave in and wanted to do it! I honestly had a blast and in the midst of it all, SO much drama happened its just not even funny. I think I can break this down into chapters.

For starters, remember that I'm somewhat of a shy guy. Not really, but I'm not the most outgoing and talkative person with people I don't know too well. Some naughty stuff happened. For fun I'll put these in spoilers (nothing too stupid or anything I'll "regret"??? lawls) 1. Showed up at the party "Ahhhhh hell yeah Stevo!". I brought along "Bumblebeetuna" as my introduction to everyone. 2. One of my very good friends/coworkers helps me to his stash of Bud Lights. So I started with one of those, met his brother and started talking with a few others. I kind of stayed back a little bit at the back of the patio, laid low and just kind of "chilled" while I started. I was pretty slow at drinking compared to others, but I'm not a huge fan of the taste ... yet? 3. Another coworker notices me and gets excited. Jeff, someone who is apparently very dangerous and gets to be a "tough guy" when he's drunk. Luckily we're on good terms! He informed me that Bud Light sucks and gave me a Coors Light (these were somewhat bigger cans). I started with one of those and enjoyed it more, it tasted better. Then I think it started to kick in a bit ... 4. I just started going all out and introduced myself with "Bumblebeetuna" to everyone and it seemed to freak a few people out. One couple was so baffled with the phrase they akwardly responded with "Hola". Haha, a few hours later I saw them leaving at the door while I was randomly going to the bathroom and happily as ever waved goodbye to them and everything. I seriously think I freaked those guys out. 5. Spoiler:
Jeff got "his girl" to ... flash me ... and they were peirced. It was interesting, on top of this she gave me a lap dance. Later during the night when I was probably in a wasted state he slapped her butt and told me to do the same, I did and boy was she pissed (at him for telling me to do it). =O, I was too carefree though in the state I was in. I didn't care about anything. There was also another girl who had apparently just got her pepperoni's peirced. I don't know what it was but that just really turned me on that night, I really wanted to go up to her and start a conversation about them but she left! =( ...hahaha...... 6. Jeff threw me into the pool twice, a second time in the shallow end which kind of pissed me off. But I was still smart enough not to say anything to him about it, because he's pretty crazy. Luckily I had taken off everything but my briefs/gym shorts. For awhile I was just walking around casually in this. 7. Ron, a guy who was pushing people in the pool throughout the night had come back all dressed up and apparently with his $700 palm pilot in his pocket. He was wrestling with some girl near the pool and another female coworker I work with ... pushed him in, with his palm pilot in his pocket. This destroyed it. When he came out I don't think I've ever heard someone so pissed, he was screaming like a monster and cussing at her. This girl is the sister of my bosses wife, so we know that's not good. People tried to calm him down but he insisted that she pay him $700 and stormed off for awhile. 8. My Asst. Manager showed up with his girlfriend. After talking with them for awhile, a few hours of enjoying myself and whatnot, I started talking with her and him again. This was the second time I had met his girlfriend and I forgot her name. "What the fuck do you mean OH BOBBIE???" she started completely going off on me and thought he was introducing me to other girls. Man, she scared me more than anybody else at the time. 9. People were talking shit on Ron and Jeff being a childhood friend of his started getting pretty pumped up about it. This is when he started entering his crazy "bring it" stage. 10. People in the kitchen were playing quarters and my good friend who gave me my first Bud Light - his girlfriend was on the steps crying and freaking out. Apparently she was pretty upset with him, but I guess he said she gets emotional when she's drunk. They seemed to turn out fine. 11. Ron comes back. I'm inside so I don't know a lot about this, but apparently he came back and started to continue argueing with the girl who threw him in the pool. This pissed off her sister, again my bosses wife, whom was also pregnant and we were at -their- hourse. Something happened and she told Ron to basically screw off and leave, Ron got in her face and said it straight back ... while walking back into the house, my boss exploded unto the scene and was screaming in his face "SAY WHAT AGAIN BITCH" ... he's probably a good 50-75 lbs more than Ron and at least a head taller, Ron was up against a wall and I was just staring through the kitchen. A friend of both their's got up to break them apart, Ron was just pissed and basically said whatever then left. 12. About an hour later, we get a phone call saying that our Jiffy Lube was robbed without the alarm being set off. Someone had taken the bench and threw it through the front door and they took the cash register. Hmmm, wonder who it was? My boss and his wife left to head up there and check it out and to talk to the cops that were there. 13. Jeff and my Asst's girl started getting a little too playful (Bobbie, the one who freaked out on me for forgetting her name), and that made my Asst want to leave. Sometime later he was parked up on the grass with his truck waiting for her to get in the car, but she was freaked out saying "people die" and weird stuff like that. It took probably 1-2 hours of people talking to both of them to settle them down and to get her to leave with him. 14. When my boss and his wife left they left this one girl in charge and she took it to heart. Her and her friend got into an arguement with Jeff and others, then her and her friend went inside and bickered at each other for like an hour or something while one of my friends Nick said maybe one or two things to them the entire time just kind of sitting there listening. I was listening while I kind of laid at the bottom of the steps (at this time I was getting tired and sobbering up a bit, I guess). I just laid there almost laughing at their arguement. 15. Finally my bosses wife came back home and specifically said they didn't care if I slept over there, but I was feeling pretty good at that time (maybe 3-4 am). I felt pretty good and figured I could make it home. "Fuuuuuuuuck No!" Nick insisted, but I went ahead and left. I drove home fine and I only lived about 5 minutes away, though a cat ran out in front of me and scared the crap out of me. Though as everyone told me today at work I was still probably drunk, just sobbered up a bit. Good thing I didn't get pulled over. 15b. Today Nick told me when I told him I was going to drive home that night, I turned 5 words into one. So yeah, I guess I was slurring like crazy, but I didn't know.
16. Jeff and some of his friends all left to go party somewhere else, extremely pissed off as well. My Xeolike powers: I never puked. Though I had a hangover until about 2pm the next day. The next day: My boss fired Jeff and Ron. The big thing is, they were all best friends for years upon years to the point that they were almost like brothers. Things don't seem very good between them all, Jeff backed up Ron while my boss feels pretty alone about things. All that in one night ... Hopefully this all makes some sense.
In the midst of it all, -I- personally had a great time. Minus the fact that for awhile I was pissing like a donkey every 10 minutes, it was great. Looking back at it though I'm sure I looked like a retard, I seriously could NOT walk very well for quite awhile and was stumbling all over. But yeah, I felt far more open than ever and just didn't care about anything [refer to part 2 of #5]. It was fun, but hopefully next time there won't be so much drama! With all the drama that happened, I was and am neutral on everything. I'm a friend of just about everyone there and I'm not taking sides. I was just there to have a good time myself. Anyways, I'm not saying anyone here should drink or anything. Just thought I'd share my first experience with anyone who cares. , I'm sure there's more stuff I'm forgetting now and this isn't too detailed, but oh well.

Anthrax ... another well known old thrash band, I'm not big on them at all, but their debut is pretty damn awesome. Not overly commercialized like just about every thing they released after it ... "It's a Mad House! Dun dun nuuuu nuuu nu" blah. Anthrax - Deathrider. Now that's fun! Though it almost sounds too much like Exciter. Random note, if you like Slayer you might like Coroner perhaps? I also recently got into one death metal band, called *drumroll* Death. Even if you absolutely HATE death metal you need to listen to Voice of the Soul!!!
