| Yeah, Kai's voice is all over in this album. Its also proof that their last label (Sanctuary Records) sucked in their production/recordings. I mean, am I the only one who thought Kai sounded a lot older and raspier on Majestic? The sound made it out like he had lost his voice, yet here he is on this album sounding just like he did with Helloween 20 years ago.
Other than that I don't hate Majestic like a lot of people do, but I'd say this is a step up from that album and another classic from the Rays. Official release is late November, not sure on the exact date. I don't think it beats the original Land of the Free, but time will tell. Its awesome!
Side note: Helloween's new album is pretty good too. Paint a New World is definitely a classic track! |

Really this album seems really diverse. There's even a few moments that remind me of their more weird-rock-like stuff before Land of the Free (with old vocalist Ralf Scheepers). |

| I'm on the verge of going absolutely nowhere with college, having to drop worthless classes and lucking out with insanely stupid teachers, etc, so I'd say no. Things aren't up or down, they're going nowhere.
I don't like my job enough to work more than 2 days (the weekends) anymore, because of this I'm not getting my raise that was promised to me for the last 6th months. I don't have enough money nor enough friends around to move out with, which I'd love to. I'm 20 years old and kind of ready for my own life. Still being treated like a kid at times with family is annoying. Grandparents think college is the most important thing in the world. That's all we talk about, for the last 2 years or so, in which I've accomplished nothing really. On top of this its all about Christianity and whatnot, which, I just don't see myself as much of a religious person anymore. Haven't been to church in years. My messed up neck from my car wreck is catching up on me. I missed a chiropractic appointment about a month or two ago and I basically have stiff necks on a daily basis. I'll probably go in again soon, but this just means MORE MONEY! And with parents in dept, having to pay for my own tuition, etc, its annoying. Still a struggling hopeless romantic. Double post, just for the record my activity has been in a decline because I'm apparently having DNS problems with the main sites address. So I basically can't get on xeogaming at the moment, but I can use evogaming.netho.tk instead (though lots of images and links are broken and whatnot). I think this has happened before, so it should magically fix itself afterawhile I guess. Until then I'll be on from time to time I guess, though I don't like seeing the board all chunky and broken like this. |

To sum things up, my mom took me out to lunch last Wednesday and told me about how depression runs along her side of the family. We talked about things and how I've been lately and well, its pretty believable I'm having a mild case of this. Its not like I'm going emo, crying at pointless things, not wanting to hang out with friends, doing nothing but sleeping around the house all day, etc, but ... there's a lot of things happening. I've been lazier, careless, mood changes drastically around at work, and overall not too motivated these last few months and hearing her talk to me about it kind of opened my eyes. Luckily my mom's very understanding and insisted its fairly normal for someone my age to be like this, she even suggested I take next semester off from school to take a break from things if needed. On top of this, she's suggested I take this European medicine (prescribed there, but not here ... so does that make it illegal here?) that's supposed to really help out with this within a month or so. Basically, I've been completely in nothing but this "here in the now" state for the last few months and it does seem to be getting worse. Again, its not like I'm sick or having any kind of real pain, but ever since that talk I had with my mom I've noticed the decline in my motivation for just about everything. I guess we'll see if this herbal stuff works come this December.
