I still feel that part in the series is a bit slumpy. BUT, just like most of the series, they get straight to the point at times ... and well, that's not the rest of the show basically. You will be very angry, I was beyond belief, but it pays off in due time. But yeah, where you're at now ... let me just simply say, Simon starts to get really really really FUCKING AMAZING! | I'm watching Jyu Oh Sei right now. Only 11 episodes long so it probably won't take too long to finish, but it's really good so far.
It's futuristic in a world where people live in colonies and hitting the age of 50 is pretty high. Thor and his brother Rai hope to visist Earth someday. Turns out their parents are murdered and they casted away unto some planet with no technology of any kind (well kind of). Seems fun. |

Feels good to finally be recommending anime myself! But yeah, this is definitely a classic, one I could see myself revisiting a few times over in the futre. Man, does Simon become totally badass or what? And Kitan! Very epic and fast paced, truly something everyone should see. I wonder where Shuyin's at in it?

This looks and sounds pretty awesome, I could definitely use another sci-fi mecha series. Sounds a bit like Code Geass, the mech's are "there" but not the main focus and that's good I'd say.

I still haven't really tried online at home ... but did play a bit at a friends. It was incredibly laggy, but we played team battles only (I hear the other optino isn't as laggy?).

I'll have to get online soon though and add my friend code up here. Lately my friends and I have been playing pretty much purely custom made maps that are somewhat "enclosed" with a few openings here and there on the sides, with percents set to 300% and the damage ratio at 2.0. It's actually extremely fun, but hard to explain the levels we've made. Imagine a Pyramid or something where the fighting is all inside and there's one opening on each side in the middle of the pyramid or so, with soccer balls, green shells, and bumpers the stuff is crazy fun. You'll be flying all over and basically you just have to be lucky to knock people out of those little openings. You can place spikes at the base on the top to prevent people from hanging out up there (since the game will spawn them there), so they'll be forced to go in. It's epic.
