Originally posted by Shinobi Yeah, I just really like Streets of Rage a lot more than Final Fight, because it seems way more fast paced. More enemies on the screen, your characters are "smaller" so you have more room to move around in (Shinobi and I kept on smacking eachother around ), but yeah, Streets of Rage is my favorite beat em' up series. It's harder to get used to 1 and 2 though, since you can't run. (restricted) |

...Is perhaps the greatest side-scrolling backtracking game in existance, next to Super Metroid.
I bought this game yesterday, and you'll love this ... For $15.99! =D Yup. I bought it at a "Collectibles" store, where they obviously have rare things and games, and I saw this game for $19.99, on top of that, they had a 25% of videogames sale going on that night, so the price dropped. It's in great condition too. The only bad thing is it's newer, so it's got the "Greatest Hits" case, but oh well. They also had Castlevania IV for the SNES, but I've already played quite a bit of that one my computer, and I've heard SoTN is considered to be the best CV game out there; and so far I can say that's very true. And I didn't have too much money, so I went with SoTN. The music in this game really gets it going, it's defininently top notch, and even delivers quite an atmospheric feel to the game even though it's mainly 2D. Very good game. I've been wanting it for a long time now, and for $16 ... I'd say I'm one happy man. (Last edited by The Xeomega on 04-03-05 04:12 PM)

Originally posted by Elara I've been born and raised a Christian ... trust me, they're different. I can't explain it because I don't really know what to say, but seriously, they're not entirely similar at all. I sometimes wish I was raised Catholic though, from what I've seen, they're much more laid back about most things. Anyways the Pope's death to this "Philosphy" you're all talking about is mainly Revelations. (Last edited by The Xeomega on 04-03-05 04:23 PM)

So you're basically calling me Catholic ...
Christians, do not affiliate with the "Pope" in anyway whatsoever. There's a difference. And there's many more ... Just because they originate from the same thing, doesn't mean they're "still" the same thing. Yes the core belief of believing Jesus as the Son of God is there, but I'm pretty sure Catholic's do not believe Mary the virgin is the mother of Jesus, in which Christians highly do. Yeah, my point too.
You can't just say that Christians and Catholics are alike just because they're branches of the same thing basically, because there's many other religions out there that can be very similar too.

I own the PC version also, but it doesn't work ...
I've had it for years and years, and when I was younger I think I accidently deleted some of the files off of the "CD" so it doesn't work, but I can at least still listen to the soundtrack through a CD Player. (You can do that with some old PC games) But yeah ... oh well, I have it on the Mega Collection now!

All places I go to, I'm usually seeing it at "most" for $10, seriously, it's more than worth that kind of price.
I picked this game up yesterday for $8 (along with CV: SoTN), and it's really a good game. I favor this kind of game over the Onimusha series probably, just since it's a little more action oriented and much faster paced like Ninja Gaiden. Yeah yeah, I'm probably the only one behind with the DMC series, but if you have a PS2, and don't have this game, don't pass up it's incredible value.

Originally posted by Clockworkz Douptful. But man that would be nice. Basically everything you said, especially a Zelda game, but hopefully it sticks to it's old overhead view style. I'd also like to see a Metroid game, "not" Hunters though. Hunters doesn't look bad, but I'd like to see another sidescrolling Metroid for the system. That's about all I can think of, honestly I'd like to see more add-on's and more media devices for the DS, so it could maybe compete with the PSP. I know there's some things out there, like special cartridges that allow you to listen to mp3's through the DS, but I'm unsure if any of those kinds of things are actually official. (restricted) |

As I said in the PM you sent me, not allowing 'others' to be able to make challenges for other people than themselves, is a bad thing.
And also, being able to challenge yourself isn't right. That's all I have for now. [stickies] (Last edited by The Xeomega on 04-04-05 05:10 PM)

Might want to try a different server then. (Upgrading from / to)
It's not a bad game, for a month or two myself and a lot of my friends were really into it, but it quickly died out. |
