| For some of the ex-DarkMoon'ers out there. My friends started playing again and I just randomly downloaded it, kind of started playing again too.
Yes, I'm fully condoning the use of this private server.
RebirthRO home. It's kind of newer and easier to use. Just download the full installer if you don't have RO anymore or whatnot, instead of using Sakrey and whatnot it's just one patcher/file. Server info. Seems to have fairly new stuff. I do miss that Niff Dungeon though, but in place of that it has Sphinx ... 4th floor has these newer enemies called Anubis that give tons of exp and can be taken down with Turn Undead (yay Priest's!). I like the mid-rates, 100/100/20. Not too slow and not over the top. There's also a Job Changer, Slot Maker, etc ... all these other things that does kind of make the game easier, but whatever. Max level is 99/50 and then for transcended, I think 255/70 or something. It has a steep donation thing, so I'm not sure if it's good to play for PvP (not sure if those maxed out characters can be used). Now that's kind of cheating it a bit I'd say. Anyways, it has a low rate server and the mid rate one that I play, which usually has 700-1200 people on so it's pretty interesting. Maybe I'll see you guys around. | Meh. It really doesn't feel that much different at all, you can still feel the 80-99 level curve. And the new dungeons like Thor's Volcano seem like hell, my friend randomly sent in his ~90 Assassin Cross and was killed in one hit, so it could be fun later on ...
I can see why you wouldn't like it, but bleh. Doesn't bother me, but then again I really don't plan on doing WoE on such a busy server, so I'm just playing for leveling up and randomness I guess. Could be an easy way to check out some other classes too. (Last edited by -X on 05-10-08 06:24 AM) |

| Nice.
Abbey seems like a crazy dungeon. I'm probably going to take my High Priest there with an ME build to destroy things ... according to their boards, it sounds like the best place to level with such a character now (well I could stick to Anubis', but it gets boring and drops aren't that greet, lol). Last night I rebirthed my Hunter and got to level 90 Sniper already. Did the good ol' Seals training, but now I'm fighting Medusa's in Beach Dungeon (0). Wish they had some kind of weakness though. They have really awesome drops. In all the training I've done there I've gotten about 1 million zenny. I'll probably make a Merchant/Blacksmith for selling things. I kind of want to make a Knight again and maybe an Assassin, but I dunno. Leveling Knight's seemed to get really steep in the later levels. Probably wouldn't be hard to get a SinX fairly fast on this server, but I want my Sniper to rock so I might just keep focusing on these two characters. Where were you taking your Lord Knight? |

My record I believe was 18 episodes of Death Note in a row. What can I say, that show really pulls you in if you enjoy it. But yeah, I've done that too with shows. Watched one episode here, then just kind of push it to the side. I usually regret it, lol. I did this with Ghost in the Shell: SAC and now I'm mainly watching it and well, it's really awesome. |

| Yeah, I can honestly say I'm not a big fan of the first movie (despite the cool cyberpunk setting and atmosphere) but so far the series is really awesome. I think because it's much longer in length, it just has more time to flesh out the characters and an interesting plot. Something I don't really think the original movie had.
I also finished Seirei no Moribito recently, a fantasy/drama/adventure that was made by some of the same staff behind the Ghost in the Shell series. Seirei no Moribito was really incredible, so I'm assuming Blood+ must be very top notch as well. |

Mion: Yeah, I'll definitely join up if you play again for a bit or whatnot. Can't promise I'd do WoE though (if you guys even participate?). But, I look so lame without an emblem.
Don't think I've tried those area's out yet though. So I'll have to take my Sniper there and try them out. So I reset my stats for my High Priest to make an ME build ... man, it seems epic but I seem to be just a -tad- bit too weak to level in the higher area's, like Odin Shrine 2 and Cursed Abbey. Gah, guess I'll have to keep spamming Turn Undead on Anubis' for a little while longer. Worked on a Merchant today. Mainly to sell stuff later on. I'm trying out a Agi / Battlesmith build, most of my Merchant/Blacksmith's in the past sucked so I hope this works out for once. Would be fun to actually make it to Whitesmith. |

Well, where do I begin. Let's see if I don't pass out typing this (over the last few days I've been taking two tablets of a new medication I'm on at the same time, when I'm supposed to take only one twice a day 8 hours apart. It's been destroying me lately, I feel worse than having a high fever  )
Right off the bat I'll just say, I guess I shot myself in the foot with a sawed off shotgun here. Once again, I guess I just really displayed how self centered I can be here sometimes? Taking the past for granted, being disappointed, attempting to take you guys down with me or something, I dunno. I was stupid. Although at first I honestly didn't think taking the board down would really hurt me personally ... but deep down inside I think eventually some regret would definitely erode and it would've been a dumb thing to do. Again though, that's definitely me just proving how ignorant I can be about myself sometimes. Sitting there thinking how -I- would feel and not -you guys-. That was definitely stupid. I'm not sure how I can even apologize for such arrogance there. Second, as I'm sure most of you guessed I was lurking and reading the responses. Some of you honestly sounded a little aggressive on my side of things but hey, I really can't blame you. Though I just bring this up because again, like I said in the announcement and it's the honest truth, I did not type that up in disgust, anger, or anything like that. I wasn't mad at anyone here at all or anything. So, I apologize for sounding offensive there. Also no matter how blunt and up front some of the responses were, I fully appreciate your guys honesty here. "Xeogredding' aye? Heh. Well I guess I didn't say it very well in the announcement, but kind of like I said above, I really wasn't upset typing that up and I'm not totally upset about the board or anything. I guess I just tend to sound too emotional in words.

Kaijin sent me a PM with a bunch of suggestions for some changes the board could use and well, that's something I was thinking about over the last few days. Nothing insanely drastic, but little by little it'd probably be interesting and nice to change things up here and there. Simple things like changing the forums around, getting rid of some, merging some, etc. Alas, I can't do this alone so throw out some suggestions, idea's, etc! How about another banner contest? Haven't done awhile. I could mess around and attempt to make some new schemes, though that's usually trial and error for me (with color codes, lol). But yeah, just little things like that I think would make the place feel kind of spunky? Yeah ... Spunky, don't ask. So above all, kind of what Katana was saying and well most of you, we just gotta try and get everyone back here. The domain issue did probably hit me pretty hard, day after day I was just getting more angry about it and I just got totally fed up (hopefully I can buy it again sometime? Having two domains would probably be nice!). From here, we could maybe try and get some new faces. Ya know, spam some forums and whatnot! (Katana knows about Benja and I, XD). Basically, the announcement was kind of "in the moment" and that moment was a dumb one. Very lame, if you guys don't mind I'll probably delete that announcement, since stuff like that kind of leaves a rotten stench. In final and I wish it were enough, I'm sorry. Though I've certainly never once lost this thought ~ The board would be nothing without you guys. But hey, you guys delivered a nice kick in the ass here, something I obviously needed. In the end ... just kidding. (So above all ... Basically ... In final ...    ).
