This is what happens when you make too many Shrek movies!

Perhaps Tech Discussion should be done away with, again. Pretty sure that one has come and gone a few times. It's kind of useful, but that kind of thing would be fine in General Discussion.

Can't hurt to maybe try this stuff out though? We could always revert back.
Here's the current idea's: - Tech Discussion -> General Discussion (also maybe Help could be a subforum for General? I know you guys don't seem to like them, I blame them for not being too wonderful in AB's, but that might not be a bad idea there. Consistently one of the smallest and slowest forums around and this day and age I think we're all pretty relaxed, so questions and such wouldn't be too out of place in General for me. But a subforum might be better). - Story -> - Classic Gaming -> If we do this those two categories would be pretty thinned out and we could probably merge them (General and Entertainment), then it'd be 5 main forums under it so it'd probably look fine. Perhaps: - Video Hut -> Crazy I for one think Debate and Sunset or worthless, but that's me... ... I could see them merged though. With Story moved into Art I wouldn't mind putting Sim/Discussion back on the front if it's -absolutely- needed... I mean, all those forums are quite dead thesedays to be blunt about it and that was the slowest one. |

Does the game have big towns throughout?
I wonder if it kind of has the vibe of that countryside island in San Andreas... (the one with the mountains). I still think I'd love this game either way, but if it had some nice big towns that'd be awesome. I've got it pretty high on the list for Gamefly now. |

I guess I haven't mentioned it, but 3D DOT HEROES = YESSSSSSSSSSS!
Seriously I think I may end up loving this more than every handheld (classic styled) Zelda since Link's Awakening. , it IS straight up Zelda worship but it's SO good at it! Love the music. |

Okay I'm going to sound like a lazy bitch (because I'm still not working), but I think I'm gonna drop one of my classes this semester... maybe you guys won't blame me.
Still need to go into my Electronics class today, but chances are pretty high it could be 4 hours long. Yesterday I had my Networking class, which was also you guessed it, 4 hours long. This on top of covering lots of crazy and technical material in an 8 weeks course, two days a week, the teacher seemed a bit odd and made some war joke... I think he's going a bit senile. But on top of hard material moving extremely fast, you're also expected to spend a lot of time on the subject outside of school. This is something I fail pretty hard at when it comes to school. I pretty much need to be in the school environment to really focus, so this isn't good news (for instance I HATE online courses. I just can't motivate and bring myself to do them). I have a feeling my Electronics class will not require a lot of time outside of class and school, so it could be much easier, not to mention I took Digital Electronics last semester so I already know a good bit. So I might stick it out with this class... I just don't think I could handle the Networking one right now on top of this other class. It does not sound like it was meant for summer, so I think I'll consider taking it again this Fall for more regular pacing... maybe see if there's other teachers too. Either way if I stick with Electronics and Fitness I'll still make out with 5 credits for summer. Anyways, I think I need a part time job right now either way to save up more money, and taking away that Networking class will free up my Monday's and Wednesday's completely. I might have to finally take out loans this next semester unless I get a decent job here quick. Am I lazy or does the class sound pretty intense? lol... |

The cool thing is it came out cheap right at the get go, $40 brand new I think. Through Gamefly it's even down to $30. Dunno if I'll keep it, but it's definitely probably worth it.
My only complaint is that I wish the dungeons weren't so influenced by Zelda 1. The thing is, the overworld to me is a bit more complicated and feels much more comparable to LA and LTTP, rather than the original game. So it kind of feels like it's a step back whenever I enter a dungeon. That said they're still awesome. Talking to the NPC's is actually really fun in the game too, lots and lots of jokes and throwbacks to old NES games. "I am Erro... Oh hello, welcome!" |

Sacred Oath is pretty amazing. I prefer the original "A Crystal Vision" the most though.
I'm digging Cauldron Born a lot lately, something you might dig! Took me awhile to warm up to the first album, but it's pretty fucking crazy once it sinks in. The second album is a bit more straightforward and more accessible, still amazing in my book though. Myspace if you want more samples. Check out "The Sword's Lament" definitely one of my favorites from the debut (that intro kills!) and "Dragon Thorne" is one of my favorites from the second album. |

That game was a pleasant surprise, pretty excited about the sequel now.
New release for XBLA yesterday, Earthworm Jim HD! It's totally ... groovy? , but yes, get it. |

Niiiiiiice, are you also familiar with my all time favorite album?
AMPLE DESTRUCTION! Hehe. It got me obsessed with all this 80's US power metal stuff. Another favorite of mine, Omen! Their first three albums are gold. Perhaps my second favorite metal album... (as usual youtube quality is pretty shitty on this one though) But that's probably their simplest song. The whole album is completely out there, it's like Traditional/Doom/Power. Or just epic as hell. Beyond the Grave shows off more of their epicness. Can't say I've yet to come across more albums with "background shrieking", that's just awesome. Love the vocalist. Okay I'll try to refrain myself next time. |
