| It's actually closed and shouldn't allow new replies/threads.
We JUST decided to toss this one again. It comes and goes, but as you can tell in the forum list there were like 5 new threads for this year. I've brought it back constantly but it's always one of the slowest forums, and lately I kind of wanted to trim the forum count down. |

| I'm with you Sei on Lost Planet 2, been blasting through it with some friends and it's nothing but awesome. Sure the story is nonexistent, but the game has a lot more going to it.

| Someday I'll have to get to that one. Was it as repetitive as Lament of Innocence? I enjoyed that game but after awhile could only take so many hallways and repeating rooms that felt like it was made in the Dark Cloud editor or something, haha...
Speaking of OoE though, loved that one to death. Probably my favorite DS CV overall. |

Sorry about that. I know it's no excuse to recommend anything, but anyways if you guys are in need for a good firewall or something Comodo is the BEST one I have ever encountered. My laptop with XP was hit with some of the worst shit out there over the last few years, but after I got Comodo's internet security thing... I never had any major problems ever again. Win7 seem safe enough for me so far. Not sure if I should replace it's firewall with Comodo's. Would you recommend that DS? Or anyone else. http://www.comodo.com/ http://www.comodo.com/products/free-products.php I think Comodo Firewall is it. I know the free version is in there somewhere, was a little bit of a pain to find. But I had this baby in use for almost a year on my laptop and it rocked. |

| Not reading this until I catch up.
Just powered through the CP9 arc myself recently. I will probably be caught up by the end of the year. It's the bomb. Best "adventurous" show since I've seen the original Dragon Ball, which One Piece creator Oda, cites that and Toriyama in general as his biggest influence and it really shows. If you guys are a fan of One Piece but haven't seen the original Dragon Ball, definitely give it a whirl. The pacing is a lot faster than DBZ's and you get a greater sense of adventure, covering a lot of diverse land, etc, better balance in comedy, more creative fights, etc. To me these two shows feel like you're living through the two best JRPG's out there. | Cairoi, I probably already mentioned this above but in my mind, Mitsuda > Uematsu. He doesn't do as much, but the Chrono games, Xenogears, and a few others I've heard bits and pieces of ... his music is surreal.
My long time favorite from Cross is the Earth Dragon Isle. Awhile back, I discovered some crazy atmospheric/electronic/new age-like German composers and Klaus Schulze was one of the best ones. This song is believe it or not taken from a 1977 album, who wants to bet Mitsuda liked this guy? The insane thing is this album is 3 tracks, and they're all like 30 minutes long. | So I just ordered an ATI Radeon HD 5570, can you guys tell me how awesome it is? Sounds like it's going to rock. The thing is my PC is a slimcase, so I had to get a low-profile video card. After research and suggestions this one sounds pretty awesome, can apparently do Modern Warfare 2 on Medium settings or so. That's good enough for me, lol.
So yeah, Starcraft 2 potentially incoming. |

| There's no excuse for Star Wars dawg. Do you know Darth Vader is arguably the real hero? Or is he? Been my favorite movies since I was 5 (original trilogy). Start with those, not the new trilogy. Surely you've played some of the videogames down the road? It's a universe that I will never tire of.
Star Trek I've personally only seen bits and pieces of the original stuff, all of the second movie, and I'm not sure after that. I've seen a lot of the Generations era stuff (think Patrick Stewart). Fun stuff, not something I recall too much though. Same with Lord of the Rings. They were amazing films to me, but didn't turn my world upside down. | Perhaps, we're going to take him to a thick forest park with a gravel path that has huge drop offs on the sides so if you mess up and fall you're screwed and might get punctured by some tree's and bushes.
