Medium works for me. 
I should update that I did definitely get the card and it's been a great upgrade. Not mindblowing, but I've got Doom 3, Half-Life 2, etc, maxed, and can finally play some other games like Stalker really well. Hell I even downloaded the Mafia 2 demo and it seemed to look and run better than the 360 version... haha (heard the PS3/PC versions are a lot better right now apparently). So yeah, good stuff. 
... and hilariously when I get a good card, of course I suddenly get the urge to (not really put it to use) and emulate some great stuff again. lol... Been making some good progress in Terranigma! Never actually finished that one, so I hope I can do it this time. I plan on making a new run in Seiken Densetsu 3 with some characters I haven't played much with, Lise/Hawk/Carlie, so that'll be interesting. (Last edited by Xeus on 08-19-10 01:29 AM) |

It just blows my mind that Scott Pilgrim has done so bad. I just saw that Doom and Max Payne even did better, utterly stupid.

Not to mention the budget seemed pretty damn good for the movie, so I can't help but figure it'll be mostly a loss on the creators side.

So you and your family are against putting her in a home or something though? It sounds like she could definitely use full attention but things will always keep the family busy.

I've had some older death's in the family over the last few years and it's pretty tough and a lot of work. Hope you guys can get through this the best way possible.

Definitely recommend DBZ, YuYu, One Piece. Also one nobody really talks much about around here, Hunter x Hunter is pretty good (I think DarkSlaya knows of it). Too bad the creator kind of sucks and takes repeated breaks all the time and the current manga arc that's been going on for 100 some chapters isn't that great at all compared to the old stuff. It's funny it started up around the time One Piece did, but it's probably a 3rd as long as it because the guy keeps taking breaks and now it's probably hopeless to think it'll ever end, at least on a good note.

The bad thing about getting checked out is I still don't have a job right now and can't really burn a few hundred for a checkup (not insured by the way), and my family absolutely can't do this either. So that's kind of a problem here. If anything I definitely want to get to the dentist soon. I don't think I mentioned it above but I have had some case of oral thrush in the back of my tongue and I get little packages of tonsiliths built up from time to time, so much that sometimes I can wake up in the morning and even physically feel one in the back of my throat, which I can usually pull/push out or just straight up cough it out. It's really nasty. The odd thing is I brush my teeth regularly and even showed my doctor last year signs of this, but he said I don't have bad breath and it's nothing to worry too much about. But uh, it's been awhile and it's just plain nasty, I don't want that anymore. Anyways that would be more payable right now and I know bacteria from this can get further into the body, so maybe it's causing other stuff. Hopefully I can get that checked out soon. I hate how I never seem to have these symptoms pop up on the weekends. Honestly, in the little bit of research I've done it sounds like I could be having panic attacks of sorts. There are also times where I'll lay down or something and my chest will start beating so physically hard I can feel it in practically my entire torso area, I get shaky, and everything. And these occur randomly and crap. It just happened again on Thursday and this can happen so quickly and go away within 5-10 minutes, it's so strange. But it sounds like I could have an issue with my body being physically tired, but my mind being way too energized and nonstop or something. Lots of weird stuff going on this year.
